Summer Camp. At first, Miharu, who would rather stay at home than join, had no interest in such a thing but after hearing about the unofficial Quidditch match, she completely changed her mind. Quidditch, one of the few things that this girl had genuine love for despite the fact that she started out pretty bad when it comes to handling brooms. It's an unofficial one but it will suffice for Miharu who strives to be a good… no, great Quidditch player. It's a practice match with people from her own school, Uagadou and Hogwarts. While the other students in the opposing team looked more experienced than her or some of her teammates, she's not gonna let that intimidate her.
Miharu stood there with her Firebolt in hand, a serious look present on her face, rarely making any sound as she prepared her mind for the match that's soon to start. She is still having a hard time with interactions with other people. Not to mention, she is quite new, she doesn't have anyone that she's close to in this team. While it doesn't bother her that much considering that she had gotten used to it, there is still that part that thinks that having a close friend would've been nice.
She gave each of them a glance, showing a respectful nod before waiting for their lead as this is still her first game. Even with her knowledge about Quidditch and skills that she knows is enough, they are the ones who had experienced Quidditch matches personally. Her gaze fell on their moderator, giving them a bow as a thank you for moderating this unofficial match much like what everyone else in her team had been doing.
"Now then, let's get this started." Miharu uttered as soon as she stood up straight, mostly just to psyche herself up for the match. She mounted her broom and took off from the ground and then went into position, following her team's lead.

Raphael blinked at the morning sun, enjoying the light. Scotland was so cold compared to France, and the mornings were even colder, but at least the sun was shining. He was still wearing more layers than a lot of the other kids, who presumably thought this was warm... except for the ones from South America or Africa or wherever.
There were a lot of those kids on the field as Raphael walked up, broom shouldered; it was apparently mostly meant to be a training match between Mahoutokoro and the African school, Uagadou, but they'd been a few players short, and Raphael had slipped into it... somehow. As the backup keeper for Uagadou. Quidditch wasn't really his thing, but he loved flying, and was pretty darn good at it, too, so he expected he'd figure it out.
Sitting down on the bench next to the pitch, Raphael carefully set his broom down next to him - it was one of his most important and expensive possessions, and he treated it like it - then nodded at the other kid on the bench and squinted across the pitch, where the active players were assembling. Most of them looked... young. He didn't think he knew any of them; none of them seemed familiar from the tent he'd been in last summer, or from the broom race, either. Raph hadn't participated in many activities, though, so he supposed it wasn't a surprise.
Leaning back on the bench, he let his eyes close, trying to soak in the meager warmth from the sun. He'd just have to wait until it was his turn.

Zophyr Qethnis was in Scotland. He was used to travelling, that was for sure, but he'd never left Africa in his life. And now, here he was in Europe. The least that he could say was that it was really quite cold here for July. He wasn't sure what to think of it - it was rather refreshing, but he was not accustomed to it in any way, and he kept shivering.

The fact that he was in Europe was old news now, though. At the moment, he had something completely different in his mind - he was going to play his first quidditch game. Okay, not his first, technically, because he'd played with friends back at Uagadou and with his family, but this was something else entirely. He was playing against another school. With his newly-joined team (well, not entirely - there were some additional players from other schools - but it still counted). He could only hope he'd trained enough to be worthy.
Just walking onto the pitch, he could not help his small, secret smile from appearing. Oh, how he looked forward to this. He knew he was nowhere near the best, but... it was quidditch. He was bound to have fun. He wasn't worried - he had that thrum of energy in his veins just like anytime anything important happened, yes, but it wasn't stress. He couldn't wait to get started.
Mounting his broom with his bat in hand, and with a nod at a few teammates and the referee, Zophyr flew into the sky, enjoying the sun and the wind on his face. The wind here was different than Uagadou's, but he liked it nonetheless. Looking down at the pitch, he wondered how the match would go. It was his first real one, after all - a memory to treasure, hopefully.

Thankfully, summer had arrived. And Botan was participating in an unofficial Quidditch match. He was actually on the broom racing team, but they needed more players for this team. So Botan decided to jump in. When he agreed to be a beater, he thought that he was going to be a second string beater not first string. But here he was. At least he had an older student to help him out, although he did not know their name but later he would find out that it was Sara Kohana [@Hanako Tone].
Botan had never actually played Quidditch on an actual team, but today was the day. He grabbed his Nimbus 1500 and threw it over his shoulder, and marched out onto the field with his team. Someone he had not been expecting was there. His cousin Akihiko, [@Ava Winchect] was on the team. Aki had not spotted him, but Botan realized that Aki was on the bench, instead of playing first string seeker. That made him feel proud, and he felt the need to be rude to Aki, that he had gotten first string over second. A smile erupted on his face. Botan marched over to Aki, and began talking trash to him. “Aki, how does it to be second string when your awesome cousin is first? Anyway, have fun twiddling your thumbs over here,” he added as he stormed away from his now enraged cousin.
Botan made it to the pitch, and to no one in particular, he spoke. “Let the games begin!”
Light godmod permission was given.

───────────────────────────────────Stepping out onto the pitch, Avery took in the sight as a sense of that growing familiarity settled in. While she wasn't entirely sure what had possessed her to put her name forth for this somewhat impromptu game, the young co-captain would be hard pressed to turn down any chance at practice she could get. And what better chance to see different styles of play than playing in a game between two of the foreign schools. She had no doubt the various unaffiliated players amongst the ranks on either side would only breed more innovation.
The Hufflepuff taps her bat lightly on the side of her leg as she makes her way over to the bench, looking around at the various players making their way out with no small sense of wonder and curiosity. While she had certainly come across students from the other wizarding schools in passing over the course of the Hexwizard, she'd not had the time to actually talk to any of them. She was determined to rectify that this summer now that she'd argued her way into attending the summer camp, much to her mother's dismay.
Settling down onto the bench, Avery rests both broom and bat across her lap in order to level a smile at the two unfamiliar boys that were already seated. She's halfway towards an introduction before she hesitates and settles with a simple, "Morning!" Shifting on the bench to lean forward, the Hufflepuff turns her attention to where the players are assembling to begin the match to watch with unconcealed interest. There was no doubt that this would be an interesting matchup.────────────────────────────────Action: Benched.Reducio

THE ADRENALINE JUNKIE
Aryaan Shamsi of Mahoutokoro
With a (almost) full roster of his schoolmates around this time, Shamsi was eager to see how his friends would compare against the best of the other schools. And what better place to begin than by looking at the newest school in the circuit? Zhang-chan, the captain of Gryffindor had graciously agreed to his request (read: demand) to oversee a friendly match.
He had a really good team on his side too: Devious Ginyami-san, his kawaii Sara-senpai, eager Miharu-san, and Ritsu-kun. Shimizu was being a bit too eager, also. He gave a nod and a sharp, warning look to the duellist, before mounting his broom.
Aryaan Shamsi kicked off into the air with less aplomb than usual. This was now this fourth broom, and the newly-made Cahser was slowly starting to understand the nuances of why some people might not go for the top-of-the-line choice of a firebolt all the time. While his current ride -- the Moontrimmer -- was nowhere near as fast as the Firebolt, it was easier to maneuver; making the sharp turns and aerodynamics required of a Chaser a lot less daunting. He did some aerial loops to familiarise himself slowly get into the zone, with his new ride.
Now that he was in the air, there was only one thing to do.
"Yo, dudes and dudettes." He called out to everybody and nobody in particular. "Let's go all out and have a real fun game. Just, try not to give our adorable little Gryffindor referee here a coronary."

Early July | 2023, Start of summer camp
Finally classes were over and was time to have some fun time with friends and colleagues. Hopefully there would be enough time and opportunities to meet students from other corners of the world. Luckily, someone from Mahoutokoro, Sha...something, had the brilliant idea to start a quidditch game! As soon as Ying heard about it, she knew she couldn't simply let go of that chance to have her first try and experience participating in a quidditch game. It was perfect, a new game and an awesome idea to get to meet new people.
Once she got to the quidditch training pitch it was like she had been hit with an extra feeling of happiness and adrenaline. Ying has born for this, to put herself into challenges and learn from them. Walking through the field with her broom at her side, Ying felt the rays of the newborn summer sun and closed her eyes for a moment feeling drowned in that feeling of comfort before she sighed lightly and continued with her confident steps towards the other players already gathered there.
Ying looked around, searching for any familiar face. The only person she recognized was Hiro, the Mahoutokoro boy she had met before the Hexwizard's first task. To be fair, she expected to see him, after all he told her about his passion for quidditch. Smiling broadly, the young girl waved at him before directing her attention towards the others present there, "Morning!" She said to no one in particularly. Then looked to the one who would be their referee, Pax Zhang, quidditch captain and her fellow Gryffindor. Ying knew who they are but never had the opportunity to meet them. With a soft nod of her head and a friendly smile she greeted them, "Thanks for doing this!".
All greetings made, Ying headed to the bench where she would be sitting, watching the game and cheering for her team. Along with her, were others sat in there, others she never had met before, "Ready to win?" She asked joyfully and then sat with her legs crossed and her elbows resting on her knees. A moment after, her good mood and easy smile turned into a much more concentrated expression. Her eyes went straight up, she didn't wanted to lose a single part of that game.

Take To the Sky

After the calamity that was April, Agata was suprised that she had even agreed to come to Summer Camp. Her parents had threatened to ban her from going, and it had only been with some sweet honeyed words from her older siblings that Agata had been allowed to come back to the cold dredhery of the United Kingdom. Except it wasn't cold. It was pleasant. Summer time on the island seemed to be similar to home, except way less humid. The climate felt similar to visiting the beach in Lima. Dry, but warm. The regions she lived in were all vastly different, from her mountainous hometown of Cusco in Peru, to the jungles of Castelobruxo. The young Peruvian was just glad it wasn't raining, as the UK was known for.
She was glad that Julián and Sofía had been able to convince her parents to let her attend. All in the name of fostering international relationships. Probably, she mused, why she'd signed up for the practice game in the first place. She'd never met anyone playing. Literally no one. She wasn't all about creating new relationships, especially after how her first visit had gone. That bright light had been quashed by that hideous mob known as Durmstrang. She hoped to all the gods that no one on her team was from Durmstrang. She would hate to have blatched her own team mates.
As she surveyed the ground and everyone already there, Agata mused to herself that her team better be good. They came into the game at a disadvantage. The Mahoutokoro school was nearly a complete team, people who had been playing together for some time. Her team on the other hand, a hodge podge. People piled together to form a team. It didn't matter. They were going to show Mahoutokoro their might. That they weren't the best school around. Nodding in greeting to others as she passed them, she finally mounted her broom and flew up into the air, ready for the match to begin.
