out of curiosity does anyone else put on music before they start writing and then turn it off like 5 minutes into actually writing because it doesn't help??? because i do that and!! i don't know why D:

same yeah, usually i listen to asmr but i'm trying to kick that habit because it embarrasses me dreadfully but it feels so wrong not having something to listen to. Music is way too distracting though, and also silence is distracting, so back to asmr i go :')

ohh i really like asmr too!! ones where people talk put me off but i like tapping sounds so when i sleep or i need to focus, i put like people typing on keyboards and stuff like that

I put on music, but it always helps me focus(most of the time)
