A Normal Morning

4 o'clock. Wake up. Get dressed. Meet Cassie. These were the things on Elizabeth's to-do list. She had just realised she needed one yesterday night, and had scribbled it quickly, resulting an untidy scrawl.
She found Cassie at the door and together, they hurried out of the common room to the Great Hall. As Cassie put their dungbombs on a table, Elizabeth acknowledged the empty Great Hall. This is going to be very fun indeed.
Elizabeth managed to find a small door connecting to the Great Hall on one side into a dimly lit chamber. They were going to have to use this chamber as a hiding place.
"Colloportus if we need to hide!" Elizabeth whispered to Cassie as reminders, "And I hope we won't need this -- but Flipendo for prefects. If it's a professor we're dead!" She thought for a moment, wondering what else might be usefull, "Oh and, Wingardium Leviosa to move that big box of stuff in front of the chamber door, so they won't easily get us! Worst situation is we'll have to use Incendio. We'll probably be expelled so let's leave that until we're... bored of this place. We'll also need to cover up our tracks. How about Nix Facitur? Snowflakes generally do well."

It was now 3:45, Ara looked at the pocket watch. It was going to be one of those days where she doesn't sleep at all. But she always looked and sounded tired and lack of sleep is normal and doesn't affect her.

Ara remembers the plan and goes out in her pajamas but with shoes on. She grabbed her small bag filled with a few dungeons. She started to walk through the girl's dormitories and the common room, she walked a bit slower than usual to not wake anybody up. Its now 3:55. Ara already had an excuse if she was caught before meeting the others, "I was thirsty and I'm looking for water". She didn't want to get caught with the others because there was probably going to be a detention if they are since there was no excuse. Ara walked to the Great Hall. She was the first one there. The ravenette sighed and sat down at a chair in the empty hall waiting for her group mates. She was the only Slytherin with two Ravenclaws and three Gryffindors. She felt a bit left out but she liked being alone anyways.

She waited for a few minutes until she saw the two Ravenclaws come through the door. "Good morning the two of you. Where are the lions?" She whispered a bit loudly so that they can hear her. "I trust you guys to not get us expelled and the most of a punishment we'll be recieving is a detention." She whispered while death staring Cassie and Elizabeth. Ara only joined this group because she had nothing better to do and she wanted her school year to have a bit more fun.

Ara was now a bit worried for the Gryffindors since if they're caught and do not have an excuse, the whole group will probably be busted. 'Where are those two? I swear if they're busted I'll hex them'

Hannah had woken up really early, at about 3:10 AM. The group had been planning this for a while now, and Hannah was excited.

This was Hannah's first prank at Hogwarts, it would be something fun she hoped. And she hoped her parents wouldn't know. Maybe the school would tell them?

She was wearing blue pyjamas and running shoes, so if they needed they could run. The girl was also with her wand. They had planned to come with pajamas, so if they were caught, they were in pajamas. Hannah disagreed with this plan since she’d rather wear sweatpants and a hoodie but everyone else agreed so she went with her pajamas.

Hannah waited for the Gryffindor girls to accompany her to the Great Hall, so they could all do their prank. Since Hannah's parents were very strict, she couldn't get Dungbombs, so one of the girls would give her some. She knew how to set them, and it was important for her to have Dungbombs, since she was in charge of setting them, also known as preparation. Hannah was ready she just needed the Gryffindor girls so they could go to the Great Hall. Come on! she thought.

The girls had planned to meet together. The Gryffindors with the Gryffindors, Slytherin with Slytherin and Ravenclaw with Ravenclaw.

Hannah hoped their plan wouldn’t fail. She was almost sure it would not, since they had been planning for quite a while now. Well, she always had her wand if she needed to do anything.

Anyway, the girls would come down soon. She was in the common room, waiting.

Irina woke up, brain foggy with sleep but a sense of urgency still blazing in her mind. It took her a few seconds but eventually she snapped up in bed, suddenly wide awake and full of excitement. She tore back the covers and jumped out of her 4-poster. She grabbed some dungbombs from her trunk then rushed over to Estelle's bed to wake her up. "Estelle, we gotta go! Wake up!"
In less than a minute from waking up, she was out of her dormitary and flying down the stairs towards the Common Room.

Today was the day that all of her mischevous, prank-seeking desires would come true. She and some other girls from a variety of different houses were going to drop a load of dungbombs in the Great Hall. It had been a rather hasty plan, and she only knew 2 girls, Estelle and Hannah, who were in her house. 'Damn it, I hope Hannah hasn't been waiting for ages!'
She was excited to get to know Cassie more, as Irina had seen her abit around school. It had been her idea in the first place and she was the leader of the group - 'Anyone who comes up with a crazy plan like this has to be a cool person,' she thought as she burst into the Common Room.

Looking around, she caught sight of Hannah. Beaming, she rushed over, holding out a few dungbombs for her. "Sorry to keep you waiting - am I right in thinking you need some of these?"

Hera awoke with excitement. In fact, he couldn't even be said to have slept properly. Today was not a normal day. While it was for most people, it wasn't for Hera. She got up quietly from his bed and dropped five fertilizer bombs from his robe pocket into his bag. Her brother had given them to her yesterday. They were going to detonate a dung bomb in the Great Hall today, and no one other than his brother (he promised not to say it by mutual agreement) and her mischief partners knew about it.

She prepared quietly (she skipped it because she thought it would be easier in pajamas) with her bag and just as she was about to leave the dormitory, she felt something rubbing against her legs. When she looked down she realized it was her cat Kai.

"I cant take you."

She said it in a whisper, but when she saw her cat still twitching under her feet, she had to leave the dormitory with her.

She was going to meet the Gryffindor girls in the first Common Room, so she was a little nervous. When she scanned the Common Room, seeing three girls talking and one holding a compost bomb, she walked over to them.

"Hey, I guess you're up for a joke. My name is Hera. I guess we haven't officially met"

Estelle yawned. She wasn't a morning person at the best of times and, between the fog of sleep that shrouded her senses and the silver moon casting it's light between the red curtains, she struggled to remember why she had gotten up this early. Then it hit her. The prank.

"Estelle, we gotta go! Wake up!"

Irina nudged Estelle. She sprang out of bed and immediately winced at the amount of noise she made. Luckily, those who needed to be asleep were.

Estelle was jiggling with excitement as she grabbed her Dungbombs. She planned on giving them to one of the others, probably Hannah, as she was acting as a lookout and causing a distraction for anyone approaching the Great Hall as she set the Dungbombs. Luckily, she had purchased a set of Exploding Bonbons. They would prove a good distraction. She planned on hiding behind one of the tapestries in a secret passage she had found if anyone came looking for her. The tapestry was slightly ripped, allowing her a peephole with which to watch people coming.

Estelle and Irina snuck down to the common room. Hannah was already waiting there, ready to go. Irina offered Hannah her Dungbombs. Estelle waited on the stairs as her shoelace was undone.
She was excited to meet her fellow pranksters!

The 2 Ravenclaws and Ara waited for about 2 minutes until 3 people entered the hall. It was the Gryffindors. The ravenette looked at them and raised an eyebrow "Got the dungbombs? I would be a shame if you left them because you guys woke up early." She said sarcastically, "I'm kidding, but seriously do you guys have them?" Ara brought some dungbombs herself in a small satchel. She hoped almost everyone brought at least 2 since they won't be able to dungbomb the whole Great Hall if they don't.

The whole group was now in the hall. 4 Gryffindors, 2 Ravenclaws, and 1 Slytherin... Which is Ara. Ara was the only Slytherin but she didn't mind.

The ravenette set her satchel on one of the long tables. "Here are my dungbombs, I got about four" she said with her straight face and monotone voice as she took the dungbombs out of her bag. She wondered how many the others had. Although Estelle said she couldn't buy any, she thinks that one of the Gryffindors will lend her some. Ara waited for their response, she sat on the table next to her dungbombs. She realized she was the tallest of the group. Ara hates not blending in, but she was taller than most 11 and 12 year olds so its a bit impossible. She was 157cm tall which is about 5'2. Ara looked at Cassie Jiang, the girl that brought them together. "So? When do we start?" She asked.

The others slowly arrived. They bustled around making sure everyone was prepared.
"So?" Ara asked, "When do we start?"
"Starting is not the first thing here," Elizabeth reminded her, "We need to make sure we have everything needed! We have dungbombs of course -- but our wands? Do we all have our wands? We also need gloves, I've just remembered! To cover up the smelly scents on our hands, you know."
She found a broom cupboard with gloves inside.
"We can use these," Elizabeth told everyone, "We will need these. After we got over with these we'll just have to put them back carefully. No one will ever suspect us."
She put some gloves on her hands.
"I suppose we can start now... right, Cassie?"
Elizabeth fiddled with her gloves. Perhaps this wasn't such a good idea. She was starting to feel a bit scared. What if they were really caught? Would they be expelled? She hoped not. All she could was to keep her fingers crossed. She bit her lip and thought about the bright side. Indeed, there was not much bright side. She sighed, and looked at Cassie hopefully. What would be done next? She hoped it will happen quickly. She resigned to the worst, sighing, she looked at Cassie, willing her to get them quickly done.

The Gryffindor girls had arrived in the common room. She knew Irina from the snowball fight, but had just met a girl named Hera and another one named Estelle. They seemed nice.

Then she said "Let's go?" and started walking. Hannah wasn't sure if they were following her, but she just went on, quietly.

The girls arrived at the Great Hall. The other girls were waiting for them. "Sorry to keep you guys waiting!" "So, Irina gave me a three Dungbombs. How many do you have?"

Hannah was excited to start. The Great Hall was huge, so there would be at least two people preparing the Dungbombs with her. Then, they'd have to watch the Dungbombs explode with that horrible smell, that's why they picked Dungbombs.

The girl thought that this would be a great prank, and even if they did get caught, it would be too late, since the Great Hall would have a horrible smell.

The Dungbombs she received were in a small bag, she started to open the bag, but just a little. "So, as I said I have three Dungbombs. Is everyone ready?" she asked. She knew she was ready, but they needed to see if everyone had their supplies, Dungboombs, wands, etc.
