Julian really had to admire the grit the Slytherin team was showing. Monica seemed one hit away from falling over, but despite Regina's best efforts, and after getting lucky the previous round of spells, she managed to dodge yet another Ventus heading her way. Guinevere had not cast a spell, but considering the curse she was under, Julian could understand. He remembered the wooziness and tiredness that could wash over you while under the curse of the bogies. She'd so far done well in weathering it.
Asher, meanwhile, had opted for the rather prudent tack of stopping to put himself out. Julian nodded his approval.Information

┏ Regina gritted her teeth when Evans effortlessly dodged her Wind Jinx despite looking seconds away from passing out. Others might praise it as resilient, but personally the Gryffindor just saw it as killing a cockroach that just wouldn't die.
"Slippery reptile," she insulted the Slytherin Prefect. "I'll see how long you can stand on your two feet. Your partner is already too out of it to even cast a spell."
Smart of Blackjack to put out the fire on his sleeve. Regina turned to him to make sure the newbie - as he referred to himself - were once again steady for the next round. She couldn't have him staying idle like Russetwood.┗ ┛

- Exhausted, and desiring nothing more but to sit, Monica could feel her legs giving way underneath her.... she wasn't sure how much longer she could keep this going, but until she dropped, she wasn't going to stop!
She looked over to her partner, she seemed to have missed, or forgotten what had happened but the girl seemed rather dazzed.... was she hit with a spell? Monica's head was spinning, she barely remembered what had happened moments ago.... does she call it in? Let the lions have their taste of vicotry?
Then Monica saw a flash, or maybe was it the sound of a whizz.... whatever, something was coming towards her, and as she turned to see Regina throwing something at her, Monica just let her legs give out, falling well out of harms way of the oncoming spell. Monica was able to catch herself at the end of the fall, looking up at Regina, who seemed rather put off by her missed spell, already spouting insults at the down grounded prefect.
Monica slowly stood up, glaring back at the upperclassman, "seems that your having a tough time hitting us, even when we are so down and out...." A smirk grew on Monica's face, "Perhaps your not the great 'duelist' I might have thought you were." She looked over to Asher, who was using his turn to douce his flames, "Seems your better at hitting your own team."
Was Monica in any position to trash talk.... No. She was not, but the girl was not about to sit by and let some, kitten look down on her or her house. Plus it was true.... If the Slytherins were so badly damaged.... why were the Lions having such a tough time hitting them?| Action |

Asher was starting to get frustrated. This duel should have been over a long time ago, yet somehow the Slytherins had manged to keep up and stay in the duel, though they didn't look too good, so he could at least say it was only a matter of time before they lost.
He had already extinguished the fire that was caused by his teammate and narrowly dodged another fire that was thrown at him. It would have been really frustrating if it hit. Asher prepared himself, he was going to cast his next spell.

It seemed the Gryffindors were starting to get frustrated at the Slytherins' resilience. And really, Julian had to admire the temerity of Monica, making fun at Grynffindor's inability to finish her off when it didn't take a genius to notice that she was barely standing. Unfortunately, the Slytherins' luck could not last forever, and it wasn't long before Julian had to pause the duel after Monica took another Knockback Jinx from Regina and failed to get up againt. Julian sighed, shooting the girl a worried look as she was taken to the Hospital Wing. This was his least favourite part of duels. That and the fire.
The only saving grace was that Asher's knockback jinx had not hit Monica too. Perhaps because Guinevere had hit him and the impact had proven distracting
Note: I made a math error last round and subtracted 60 HP from Guinevere instead of 40 HP. I've since corrected it on the previous mod post. Apologies.Information

"Flipendo!" Guinevere shouted, clearly pointing her wand in Asher's direction. In any other situation, she'd have felt bad, but she could only feel elated that a spell had finally hit it's target. As Asher was hit by her spell, Guinevere averted her gaze, just in time to see her teammate being knocked onto the floor. She winced, as the moderator paused the duel to take Monica to the Hospital Wing.
She looked back to the piste. Suddenly, the thought of Iv2'ing the Gryffindors seemed intimidating, but she held herself as straight as she could, with about as much confidence she could muster.

┏ "Good riddance." Regina scoffed, satisfaction curling darkly inside her chest as Knockback Jinxes flew from both sides of the stage and hers hitting Evans square in the chest. Finally, one Snake that couldn't stand no more.
Regina had no problem dodging the spell aimed at her partner that had gone wildly off-course. She was still unscathed and dominating the field with confidence - perhaps a bit too much, considering her enormous ego, but it was well-deserved.
"Now then...you are on your own, Russetwood." She smirked.┗ ┛

Asher tried casting a spell at Guinevere, however it had missed its mark while her spell hit him sqaire in the chest, it hurt pretty badly but it was nothing he couldn't handle. And finally, finally. Monica has been knocked out of the duel, Asher had to admit he was really impressed with how tenacious she was. She definitely earned his respect despite the fact that they were on opposing sides. Now all that was left was taking out Guinevere, which shouldn't be too hard considering they were 2 against 1.

With Monica knocked out, there were only 3 duelists still standing. The oldest, Regina, would aim her wand at Guinevere and the Impediment Jinx would leave the tip of her wand. Despite being able to cast such an impressive spell for her age, her aim was off and the spell missed when Guinevere dodge with ease.
While the third year was attacking the last standing Slytherin, her partner focused on dodging the incoming spell. Guinevere managed to cast Spongify at Asher. However, since the first year focused completely on evading the charm, the spell missed him.Information
