It was Quidditch time again and Haley entered the pitch with the rest of the team. The weather was nice, they practiced a lot and Haley felt ready for todays game. Her concentration was only on the game, no distractions only full attention. She was ready, she wanted to play and she wanted to win.

Haley listened to the captains words before she let out a loud "Let's go Liooooons!", jumped on her broom and disappeared into the air in one swift motion. "C'mon we got this!" she further motivated the team and took her position.

Gryffindor vs Slytherin

After their loss against Ravenclaw, Finnegan wasn't sure what hurt more, his pride or his ribs. At least now he understood the kind of pain @Alma Stoll had been in when she'd been knocked off her broom. Quidditch was fun right up until the moment you smacked into the ground.

And yet here I am, he thought to himself. Some bruises weren't going to stand in the way of playing the final game of the year, and arguably the most important one against arch-rival Slytherin. He snorted 'Cept I'm not playing yet. Something told him though that he would get a chance today. Not in the least because the Slytherin lineup was more than a little terrifying. He recognized a few of the Slytherin lineup. @Maggie Hawkins had made something of an unforgetable impression on him, both during summer camp and on the train ride to Hogwarts. She had quite a strong personality and like most Slytherins struck him as obsessively ambitious.

Then there was @Dan Palmer, the slender, smug, kleptomaniac whose gleeful commentary he'd tried to ignore last match to little success. The boy's mouth often seemed to run ahead of his brain, but still he got under Finnegan's skin somehow. Seeing him getting knocked off his broom would be quite satisfying, though there wasn't all that much to hit.

The other names and faces were only vaguely familiar to him, but it was plainly obvious which team was less experienced. Still, they had a good seeker and had shown in the last game that if they were going to go down, they'd go down fighting every step of the way.

Excitement electrified the air as the highly anticipated Quidditch match two Houses that had a rivlarly probably older than the castle itself at this rate came to be. How that was possible, Elena had no idea but what she did know was that the lions had been hurting for some time now and they needed a win, one way or the other as she flexed her fingers listening to Pax.

She mounted her Firebolt running her hand over the smooth woodwork admiring it for a moment. With one final look at her teammates, she took a deep breath and propelled herself into the air, soaring towards the thrill that awaited her.

That Snitch was going to be hers. She had been so close last time, so, so close and this time was no different. They just had to catch the blasted thing, her eyes already beginning to settle into their familiar routine.

Percival wouldn't consider himself to be a very patient person. Holding onto his broom like a life line, he would glower up angrily at the dark-haired boy. How badly he wished to make the other boys life a living hell. The boy twisted his hands along the broom handle. Gripping it so tightly his knuckles turned white. The dark hatred looming in his heart lashed about angrily trying to escape his throat. 'What a nuisance.' he would think scoffing before leaning back into the bench. A part of him hoped the boy would break something. At the very least he'd make sure to break something for him soon.

Odi lifted his arm and covered his brow at the glaring sunlight as he stepped out from the changing rooms to the roaring crowd of his peers. Students of every house has shown up and shown out for this match and Odi could feel the anxiety building in his chest.

The famed feudal houses were gearing up to start the match and out of the corner of his eye Odi could see a fourth year Slytherin boy gripping his broom as though it he was afraid it might zoom out of his hands at any moment. Odi followed the boys gaze. It seemed there was some tension among the Slytherin quidditch players. He made a mental note to capitalise on this if at all possible.

Odi snapped back to reality with the realisation that his team were still talking. A third year girl Odi had not met yet let out a triumphant roar of “Let’s go liooooons!” Which frankly, Odi thought was presumptively celebratory. Then again, he thought to himself, maybe I need to lighten up a bit.

It was his first game as part of the Gryffindor quidditch team, and though he was benched for the time being, Odi couldn’t help but cast his gaze skyward to the looming goal posts that stood incorrigible at either end. He had been steadfastly training even before he had made the team and now all that hard work would finally come to a head.

Effect: Alluring: If a Part-Veela is being attacked there will be an urge to assist or protect them. This is not necessarily a romantic thing, but rather could be roleplayed as a fascination, a desire to not let something pretty be ruined, etc. This has nothing to do with sexual attraction unless as an RP'er that is what the user wishes to RP it as. The pitch was alive with excitement as the players gathered to watch before their big game against Slytherin. He was feeling especially nervous as Gryffindor had lost their previous fall and winter games. He knew that with each loss, the pressure grew on the team to win this match.

Clutching his broom tightly, he gathered his teammates around him and delivered a short, motivational speech. "Listen up, Gryffindors! I know we've lost the last few games, but we can do this. Remember, we're Gryffindors—lions amongst men. Let's go out there and show the world what we're made of."

He was ready to play, and more importantly, he was ready to win. He's determined to make his family, his fellow Gryffindors, and himself proud. "Gryffindor, on me!" The game was on, and Ethan was ready to give it his all.

• Bludger attacks that knock a player off a broom (KOB) made by players with this ability have a 25% chance to also break said player's broom. Bludgering, bludger backbeats, and richochets apply.

Even he knew, tired as he was with the end of the year looming over their heads, that the rivalry between Slytherin and Gryffindor remained a strong and sometimes violent thing between the 2 houses. At least when it came to winning or losing, which wasn’t a bad thing…unless you were standing in the middle of the action.

Which they were. Not him luckily, not yet at least, oh no he was on the bench again with his chin shoved into his palm playing a game of I spy. What was he trying to spy? His friends mostly, a side eye towards the game overhead in a very lazy effort to spot the snitch being the other thing. And sure, they couldn’t really talk but making stupid faces and trying to shout at each other through the noise was better than quietly suffering through the nervous jitters some of the others seemed to be suffering.

Dan's words reverberated around Koko's skull as she readied herself to do her job as the team's Keeper─and as their newest co-captain. Her nerves were multiplied, and she kept taking deep breaths to try and still her shaking hands. Once she got in the air, she would be fine, but getting off the ground was proving to be rather difficult.

Nonetheless, Koko would smile warmly at the rest of her teammates. They were going to do amazingly. They were all extremely capable, and Koko knew that, if they all worked together as she was sure they would, they would end up doing exactly what Dan had said─getting themselves a win.

She glanced at her hands and noticed they had stopped shaking. She was ready.

Excels at catching falling allies as well as getting them back to their broom quickly.

This broom can carry multiple people. When someone uses the catch option to rescue a falling teammate, they can catch one additional teammate in a given round. If the user has the ability Catch then a user can catch an indefinite number of teammates in a round, but for each person they catch after the first there is a stacking 20% auto-failure chance.

On the next round, as a free action (meaning both users can make a normal action) the rider and ONE passenger (if there are multiple sharing the broom, it would cost both of their actions to return them to their broom also) can retrieve a single broom.

On beautiful days like these, the young tween loved playing sports. But being in the air was a bit different. At least he still played a sport, even if he was terrible at it. Jay’s grin betrayed nothing of his thoughts. Think positive. We’ll win this one. At least, he hoped.

The Gryffindor takes a deep breath. With the way their last two games worked out, he just didn’t want to be plummeting to the ground again. Just try your best, don’t worry about the others.

Jay just prayed he could stay focused and this would be a quick and easy game, though it probably wouldn’t be. He clutched his broom and grinned, full of newfound determination. Let’s do this.
