For the last question in lesson one for first years , can we, along with what appears in the curriculum here, of course, also answer with plants known to be covered at this level in canon?

You may include those but you only get marks for what is in the curriculum, as what I will be teaching is not the same as the canon.

From what I've noticed in Herbology assignments is adding a lot of details to the following questions. I find that to be a part of the requirements on the curriculum. Like explaining more to the plant of Dittany for example. That is one of my recommendations. Explain it like you are mentioning it to someone for the first time who doesn't know about plants. There are magical plants and mundane that have their uses in the wizarding world and the muggle world. Plus a lot of new plants that I've learned about from the wizarding world that I knew nothing about. So adding detail helps and I also find the Harry Potter wiki to be helpful. Finding information can be a challenge on the internet. Also in the lesson there are hints and answers to some of the questions. Take your time and never rush your assignment. Plus it is good to re-read over what you wrote to add grammer and other common spelling corrections. With me I tend to forget a comma or a period which its the little things.

Excuse me, Professor? I'm Regina Miller, Gryffindor, 1st year. I wish to ask you a question concerning the length required in the answers regarding our homework. I know you wnat the answers to be at least 30 words long, so would minimum 5 lines long be acceptable to your standards?

My apologies for the late reply, as long as you hit 30 words I do not mind how many lines you do, I usually mark on mobile, that is why I do not use lines.

Terribly sorry to bother you professor, but where can I find the list of the plants that will be covered during this year? I've been unsuccessful as of late with finding the answer to the final question.

You can find that in the curriculum thread where I have everything that will be taught for all of the years.

OOC but: I'm sorry, I'm afraid I don't understand how the homework works? When I look at the curriculum all I can see for first years is
"1.Rules and Equipment - Questions
2.Incendio and Young Bouncing Bulbs - Questions and RPG
3.Gillyweed, Great lake plants and the Extinguishing spell - Questions and RPG"

And there is nothing there for me to answer or interact with? I'm having the same problem with all the classes, can anyone help?
