Julian was fairly sure that, in his position as facilitator, he was supposed to stay impartial, but Regina's continuous taunting coupled with the the Slytherin's precarious position made it harder than usual (he wasn't proud of it, especially because Asher had been a perfectly reasonable person so far). He almost pumped his fist when Asher's Flipendo went wide off Monica, managing to contain the gesture to a clenched fist. Unfortunately, that was the end of Slytherin's luck. The next Flipendo to head in Monica's direction hit her, making full contact with her shoulder and making Julian grimace. The second year hadn't uttered a peep or made to cast since her last startled curse and Julian suddenly felt worried. Perhaps Guinevere was worried too, because she made no move to cast either.
"Um, do you wanna? Forfeit, I mean?" He didn't want to make it seem like Regina's taunts were deserved, but well, he didn't want the Slytherins to have to keep duelling if they weren't feeling up to it either.

(Note: I was labouring under the incorrect assumption that round headers should correspond to the round that was starting rather than the one being resolved. I've since fixed all the round headers and we are kicking off round 5 now. Sorry for any confustion.)

Maybe it was because of the continuous retching and gross mucus that was conjured by Asher's spell, but this round, Guinevere drew a blank and could not think of any spell to throw at her opponents. It seemed Monica was having the same problem, but worse, as she got hit with a knockback jinx again directly in the shoulder. That had to hurt, and the moderator's words weren't making it any better.

- Monica had froze, perhaps the opponents were getting to her? Or maybe having a few bad rounds got the best of her. She was in her head, no longer in the duel, her mind went away, Would she be kicked off the team if they lost badly? Was she not fit for duelling? Her eyes traced the audience, were they laughing at her?
Then with a flash, she saw light pass by her, she came back to the moment, but not in enough time!
She felt a surge in her shoulder, and her feet in a moment left the ground, she was air born, and soon enough impacted to the ground. Her spine shivered with pain, as she opened her eyes everything was foggy. Gripping her wand, she felt barely okay, but was willing to give it one last go!
She stood up, nodding to her teammate, who declined the offer to forfeit, "I'll have to be carried out of here for that to happen." She added with whatever strength she had left.| Action |

As soon as the words were spoken, Regina lifted her wand and sent a powerful Knockback Jinx towards Evans. If she wanted to be carried out of the stage beaten and unconscious, the Gryffindor would gladly grant her reckless wish. As predicted, the spell hit her square on the shoulders and pushed her to the ground. Regina made a dramatic sweeping motion with her arm and let out a condescending 'hmph'.
Clearly, this was looking to be an easy victory. She did shoot a sharp glance at Blackjack who had incompetently missed his target, but it wasn't too much trouble. Evans would fall soon enough - she didn't seem like she could even stand for long.┗ ┛

Asher had to say he was impressed by the Slytherin team, they refused to give up and decided to fight to the very end despite knowing it was a losing battle. "Your bravery is commendable" though he found it somewhat foolish to continue fighting in their current condition, after all knowing when to quit was a sign of intelligence, but he decided not to add insult to the injury, Regina was doing a good enough job of that.
Asher had thrown a spell immediately after uttering those words, sadly despite his opponents freezing he had missed his shot. He winced a bit at the sharp look that Reigna gave him but decided to just focus on his next spell to make up for it.

It made Julian feel a little bad, considering Asher had been quite sporting throughout.

┏ Regina was baffled. Never, since she'd joined the Duelling Team, had she ever missed so spectacularly. It had less to do with skill and more to do with the fact that perhaps she was acting too rash in her impatience, too prideful to think her spell would ever swerve away from its true target and hit her teammate instead. But, Regina being Regina, she did not offer any kind of apology. The Gryffindor rebel merely glanced at the fire catching on Blackjack's sleeve and huffed.
"It's your own fault for not being able to dodge it," she said nonchalantly. It wasn't too bad, she could suffer a bit embarrassment as long as she was still unscathed. They were fairing better than the Slytherins, anyway.┗ ┛

Asher didn’t hesitate whe he cast his next spell, so that he doesn't miss his next shot, he couldn't afford to if he wanted to win, and he most defintly wanted to win. Thankfully his Incendio connected with its target and Guinevere was lit aflame, though he had to admit it sounded cruel in his head when he thought about it, however it's seems that the Gryffindor luck that had kept them going without suffering a single hit had come to an end, by their own hands no less.
Reigna had cast an Incendio duo that had completely missed its target and instead decided that Asher was prime burning material, Asher scremed in pain when it first connected then grit his teeth and tried to not focus on the pain, which was unsurprisingly difficult, and Regina's attitude wasn't helping one bit. "Sure, blame it on the newbie" he said with labored breath.
