Can I Help?
Well, Cassie is really broed for this Sunday afternoon. She has finished all her homeworks and her club activities. She doesn't want to go to the library and read-- she just doesn't feel like reading right now. What can she probably do? Just then, an idea popped in her mind, yes, perhaps she can help someone in the castle. A student, or a professor? Yes, a professor. She has always wanted to leave the professors a good impression.
The potions' professor perhaps needs some help with cleaning all her equipments and crystal vials. She thinks. So she tidies her clothes and walks out her dormitory towards the potion classroom io the dungeon.
She stands in front of the potions' professor's office. She knocks on the door, and waits for a response. 'Hello professor Regan.' she says, 'I am Cassie Jiang, a first year Ravenclaw. May I ask if you need any help? Perhaps I can help you clean and tidy your potions equipments.' She stands in front of the door, her heart pounding quickly. Will the professor agree? Or she will just hush Cassie away? Cassie is waiting.
She looks inside from the outside of the unlocked door, she can see that the potions professor is inside.

Can I Help?
Méabh yawned and stretched her arms above her head, her spine cracking satisfyingly as she tried to rid herself of the tension that had set in her muscles. It was a weekend - a Sunday - but weekends had become flexible since she'd started working as a professor at Hogwarts. There was always something to do - grading assignments, preparing lessons. She'd been spending so much time in the dungeons that she could almost feel the melanin leeching from her skin... nevermind that she could change her skintone on a whim.
Still, she decided, getting up and inspecting some of the jars on her shelf. She should spend some time outside. There'd been more time for that at the beginning of the year, she'd made more time for it, if only because of who she had been spending that time with. There was work she could do outside, still. She should do that.
Just as she had decided this, a young voice drifted in through her open office door. Méabh turned, head cocked. Students rarely sought her out on weekends. "Ah, yes, Miss Jiang, hello," she replied, an easy smile on her face, then frowned slightly. She wanted to... clean for Méabh? On a Sunday? Kids were strange.
Undecidedly, Méabh glanced between the girl and the almost empty jars of dried herbs on her shelf. There were some students that sometimes helped out around her classrooms, certainly, but there were only few she would trust to use the facilities while she wasn't around. And she didn't really need any help. Granted, her room was chaos, but it was her chaos, and it was perfectly clean. Also, taking this girl's offer would mean she'd have to stay down here and supervise after she'd just decided to head outside and get some sun.
"You know what," she said, coming to a decision, "I was about to head outside and collect some herbs on the grounds. If you want, you can come and help me."

Can I Help?
Cassie stands quietly outside the room and waits. After the professor greets her, she has been thinking for a while. Cassie's heart pounds quickly. Is the professor going to agree? Or is she going to reject her request? After all, she is just a normal first year who has not had many interactions with the professor before. Will she trust her?
She waits, patiently. Jut then, professor Regan offered to collect herbs together. This sounds fun! She thinks. It's so lucky for her to be able to collect herbs with the professor!
'Great! I am so honoured to do so!' says Cassie, 'I have all O Herbology Grades professor! I can do the job well! Thank you so much professor!' She is so happy that she is about to jump. This is such a great oppourtunity that few students get to have! She is just too lucky! It's such a correct decision for her to come and ask. This is also a great way to get to know more herbs and potions.
She tidies her clothes and opens the door wide for the professor. She waits quietly outside the professor's office door, waiting for the professor to take her to the grounds.

Can I Help?
Her spontaneous offer, mostly made so she would not have to change her plans, was met with exuberant enthusiasm, and Méabh quirked an eyebrow in amusement. "Well, fantastic," she replied, offering an encouraging smile at the mention of impressive Herbology grades. "Let's do this." She wasn't quite sure what she was being thanked for, considering she'd only allowed the girl to tag along on what was little more than an errand, but if it made Cassie happy, all the better.
Méabh grabbed a few linen bags before she followed the young Ravenclaw out of the room, meant to hold the herbs they were about to collect, then turned around to lock both the door to her classroom as well as the one to her office. Both were usually open, inviting students who might want to further their experience with potions in their free time to do so, but they were secured while she wasn't around. She shuddered to imagine what might happen if she let the kids in here unsupervised... ironic, considering her past, but she'd gotten older. Matured. She refused to consider that she might simply have gone boring, however.
"Alright, Miss Jiang, lead the way," she offered, extending her hand down the corridor.
