Collecting Herbs with the Potions Professor
Cassie walks out of the Potions' Professor's office. She is very excited as she heads towards the grounds. She will be collecting herbs with the Potions professor-- professor Regan.
Her heart pounds as she walks with the professor up to the Great Hall. She can see the admire and envy eyes looking at her as she is walking with the professor. 'What will we collect, professor? And may I ask where will we put the herbs we collect?'
Soon, they are outside of the grand castle of Hogwarts. She walks in the grounds, she remembers the last time when she comes here to do voluntary activities. She never knew there can be herbs hidden here. She can see a small plant she planted last time.
'Here we are, professor!' Cassie says, smiling. She is proud as she is familiar with the castle, she has been to nearly everywhere in the castle. 'How can I help you with collecting herbs, professor?' she waits for a response. She has never collected herbs herself before, but she hopes she can perhaps be a good helper. She wants to be helpful and loved by the professor, after all, such activities is so exciting that Cassie would definitely want to do again.

Collecting Herbs with the Potions Professor
Following her unexpected helper up the stairs, Méabh couldn't help the amused twist to her lips at the girl's excitement. She couldn't deny it, first years were cute (some more than others). Her wide-eyed rapture at the simple idea of collecting some herbs and plants - something that she could do on her own at any time, should she want to - was... well, a little inspiring, if she was honest. It had been a while since she'd felt that way about potions, or anything else. For a moment, Méabh wondered what it would be like to discover everything again for the first time, the magic of brewing, the fascination each potion had held for her. She still loved it, of course. It was her life, and she wouldn't trade it for another.
Cassie's questions sparked her out of her contemplation, and she frowned for a moment, trying to recall the ingredients she was running low on that could be found on the grounds, then sorting for the ones she trusted Cassie to safely find and collect. Nothing poisonous, she would do those herself, especially since the Ravenclaw likely didn't have her gloves with her. "You know what nettles look like, right?" she asked. "Those would be great, just be careful not to get stung. Some balm if you can find it, daisies and chamomile." She considered. "There might also still be some jewelweed around." Which would also help if Cassie did get stung by nettles.
She'd grabbed some linen sacks just before they'd left her office, and handed two of them to Cassie. "Put them in those. I'll be around if you need help. Be careful, and good luck." She winked at the girl, then headed off on her own, reaching for the gloves in her pocket. She had her own plants to locate.

Collecting Herbs with the Potions Professor
After listening carefully to the professor's instructions, Cassie takes out a tiny piece of parchment-- she usually takes a piece with her in case there is something needed to be taken down. She copies down the list. 'Nettles,' she murmurs, 'balm, daisies and chamomile. Jewelweed as well.' Luckily, her Herbology score is always an O, and she knows the appearance of these herbs. 'Yes, I know what they look like. Alright, professor.' she takes the linen sacks. 'Thank you, I will collect as much as I can, and will be careful not to get stung. Good luck to you too, professor!'
Grabbing the linen sacks, Cassie goes around to search for the herbs. She quickly finds a patch of daisies. She carefully picks them up and puts them in a linen sack. She decides to separate the herbs with the sacks. Balm is not difficult to find as well, she quickly finds some to stuff in the sack.
Nettles are a bit tricky. They are difficult to collect and Cassie does not want to get stung. When she spots one, she covers her hand with an empty linen sack in order to have no direct touch with it. She is working efficiently, collecting quite a lot in say, half an hour. Most of her sacks are half full already.
