What’s the context?
I myself find apologies hard. Not exactly on a pride level but I feel embarrassed ig.
i think you just need to be like “I’m sorry for [whatever happened]. How can I make it right? I never meant to hurt you (?)” or smthn like that

Ah yes. I hate doing that — worst thing is not even realising you have hurt their feelings unless they either tell me or I feel they are “texting different” or acting different. Also a big over thinker haha.Clara Alexander wrote: 17 May 2023, 18:34I was joking with Duvessa but I may of accidentally hurt her feelings. {Already sent a owl}Lucian Mornstern wrote: 17 May 2023, 18:32What’s the context?

I agree mostly, in that what you make of life is much more important and significant than what life makes of you. But temperament is genetic though, so people are predisposed to be more violent than others. So whilst nurture is pretty important, there are some nature factors that can't be ignored!Lucian Mornstern wrote: 17 May 2023, 15:58I lean very Pro-Nurtue. You can have a drunk dad and a mum that partakes in drugs yet depending on your situation, who you spend time with, how you’re brought up (not necessarily by your parents because in some cases friends parents, teachers, people you see on TV etc) can also help mould your future. But also the idea of, I don’t want to be like you. Like, no one is born inherently bad, your fate isn’t set (imo). All these sickos on TV are like this because of something in their life, not because they were born evil.Qrow Beithir wrote: 17 May 2023, 15:48Oof, nature vs nurture is tricky cause on one hand, genetic factors we get from our parents can affect how we act, and on the other, how we are taught to deal with things as we grow up also affects it...Lucian Mornstern wrote: 17 May 2023, 15:45Milgrams Shock Experiment, yeah. Yessssss
More so Psychology, like I love English don’t get me wrong but my top two is probs Psychology and History
And hello to whoever said my name. I think Rhys xD
Love learning about Milgrams variations and how memory works and stuff!
As for History, I'd enjoy it more I it was ancient history rather than learning about the wars and stuff...
And yeah, but I love all the war stuff. I love learning about the Cold War. America sucks, can’t lie. Love Restoration. Health is eh.
There is always a reason for a reaction. The things we internalise and don’t even realise we internalise. And then add on the fact our brains are still developing and your formal operational stage is sort of crucial times for development and stuff. It’s where moral reasoning comes into play — amongst other stuff. Especially around 11/12. You’re taught morals and manners from your parents/people around you.
I could talk a lot about this haha. I know that I am very Nurture in this debate. There are loads of situational factors
