Situating herself comfortably in the magnificent potions chamber in the Miller Manor that had once belonged to her late grandmother, Regina set to prepare the ingredients needed to brew yet another concoction that would serve her nefarious purposes. What was incredibly convenient of this particular place were the vast ingredients storage at her disposal. From then on, it was just the process of actually brewing the potion.
With the cauldron already on heat, she poured in exactly three measures of Firewhiskey - a distracted thought sending her to a fond memory with Elsian in the Forbidden Forest - before waiting for the liquid to boil after thirty seconds. Once that was done and she'd lowered the fire, Regina set to grind the woodlice into fine smooth powder, something only the work of a perfectionist could qualify. Though she wasn't an outstanding expert in Potioneering like her grandmother Allura once was, at least Regina could rely on her current skills to perform flawlessly. In went the two sprigs of Skurvy Grass, and the powder gradually transformed into a paste as she continued to grind and pound. After adding the Skurvy-Woodlice paste into the cauldron, she stirred exactly three times clockwise and waved her aspen wand above the concotion to let the magic sink in. Now came the long forty minute wait as Regina took out her private journal and jot down some notes for her future plans. More specifically, her victim of choosing and how it would play out with the co-operation of her faithful partner in crime Elsian Cox. All mastermind ideas must be planned out to the perfection, just like everything she did.
The waiting time was up at last, and Regina had a detached emotion on her face as she grabbed two Spider Legs to chop them up into neat and small little pieces - such was the girl's impeccable knife skill. All she had to do afterwards was adding them to the cauldron, stir four times counter-clockwise and wait five minutes for the concoction to simmer on medium heat. Regina had a mean smirk on her face as she waved her wand one last time over the potion, and her newest production was now complete.
Let us see you resist this, dear cousin.

Potion | Bruise Removal Paste
Ingredients required | 3 murtlap tentacles, 1 jar of honey, 2 bubotuber pus, 6 seashells, 2 flobberworm mucus
Note: Ingredients crossed out are covered by Vale's Components ability.

Vale was home. Her being home was a rare event, even rarer when she decided to come home instead of staying at school per usual. And just as rare, her brother Raydon was also home. As soon as Vale saw her older brother sharing the same space as her, she was her bubbling self, babbling away to him about all the events that have happened throughout her time at Hogwarts. He would listen, with a small smile. Eventually when Vale finally tired herself out from blabbing away so much, did Raydon finally speak.
"Let's go into babu's secret room. You remember that well sneaking about with your friends, don't you?"
The room, as Vale remembered, was the same with all its strange papers and the giant map inside. She was older now, but still had trouble understanding their meanings. When she would ask, he would just keep his small smile and take Vale over to the side of the room filled with potioneering tools. She didn't recall this part of the room; her memory able to recall even the smallest pieces of information. She ended up concluding that the tools weren't there before.
"What do you need me in here for, kaka?" Vale's eyes peeked to observe all the tools. They were all familiar, and not just because of her home filled with such, but what she was also taught back in Hogwarts. Vale could hear Raydon's hum.
"Oh...just curious is all. I wanted to see what you knew from school is all." Vale finally noticed a set of potion ingredients off to the side, also very familiar. She blinked and turned her head back to look up to her brother.
"All this stuff...you could make paste with! Bruise Removal Paste..." Raydon made a short nod, his smiling still plastered across his face. "Since you know so much already, how about you show me how it's done." Vale stared at her brother before turning her small head back the tools before her. A cauldron sat pleasantly on a medium flame already. Vale looked inside it; nothing.
Strange, he had this all ready for her. Luckily it was potion brewing, else Vale would've been nervous and wishing she had her notes with her.
He really wanted her to brew a potion, specifically a Bruise Removal Paste? Vale didn't know the reason, nor did she care to. Her brother wanted to interact with her, and that's all that matters in her eyes.
Vale only made a big smile and hurried over to the ingredients set out. As she peeked down to the ingredients, the murtlap tentacles were the first to catch her eyes along with the jar of honey next to them. She picked them up, uncaring how weird the tentacles felt in her hands as she hurried them over to the cauldron along with the jar of honey. Her brother watched her every move.
Vale eagerly dumped the ingredients into the cauldron, dumping the honey from the jar into the cauldron. She recalled easily to stir the cauldron five times clockwise before removing the potion from the fire. Her movements were fluent, with her adding two fluid ounces of bubotuber pus into her potion after and stirring three times counter-clockwise afterwards.
Raydon watched his sister work away, but Vale wasn't sure of his impression of her. Year by year, Vale slowly noticed how Raydon reminded her of their babu's behavior.
Instead of pointing it out, Vale simply put the cauldron back onto the fire. She pulled her wand out, waving it around and letting the cauldron shimmer on low heat for the time being. She set a nearby timer up.
"What prone you to search around the library for with your little friend, Vale?" Raydon's voice was blunt, to the point. His smile vanished. She had an hour of time to shimmer the cauldron. She pulled six seashells and began breaking them down into a fine powder from the side.
"Just exploring is all, kaka." Once Vale was finished, she stared around the room.
"...I didn't know we had this room in the mansion, kaka." Vale could feel her brother's eyes intently watching her as she looked around the room. There was papers she couldn't understand. They looked like complex mathematical equations. When she decided that it would do no good to continue her onward look, she looked to the familar map with red marks across it. She did not recall there being so many marks as before.
"There's a lot of things you don't know. Things you don't need to. Even things we don't want to." Raydon moved by Vale, also staring at the map. "But its not our nature to refuse knowledge."
"Are those the places you went to?" "Yes. And I won't need to again." Vale felt a slight chill run up her spine. She wanted to believe that her brother simply just didn't want to travel to another place twice.
And yet, the newspaper she found in this same room returns frequently into her mind.
She really didn't want to ask the questions she knew needed to be asked.
"...Babu, I miss him." The room felt colder. Vale turned around to see her brother no longer even looking at her.
"...You miss someone who never even existed."
Vale heard the timer ring, moving to add in three pinches of the crushed seashells and two measures of flobberworm mucus. She stirred the potion in a clockwise fashion as it turned to paste. "...Are you going to be away again for a long time once more?" This time, Raydon didn't answer. Vale didn't look back to see about her brother. She gave her wand a simple wave before turning the heat off and letting it cool.
"Take this potion as a gift from me, Vale. Surely you won't need to use it anytime soon." Raydon spoke. Vale kept her eyes on the cauldron. "Don't go into places you know is off limits." "Papa says babu's study room is also off limits, but you go there anyway, kaka." Vale heard Raydon made a sound, something like a scoff maybe.
Before Vale knew it, the cauldron was cool and she used a clean, air-tight jar for her newly made potion. She turned her head, looking to see her brother only to see he was gone. She blinked, before turning her eyes back to the potion at hands. Her hands gently hugged the jar, recalling a faint, familiar warmness.
She wished babu was still here.

Even without being a part of the Brisk Basilisks, Alora was prone to nicks and bruises. It didn't matter how quietly she could approach things or how small she made herself; there was something about the young Slytherin that was clumsy. In part, it was growth, but mostly, it was learning to cope with her differences. Always the shortest or just about, she took to wearing heels and platforms early on, which, more often than not, gave her the grace of a newly borne gazelle.POTION BREWING FORM

After learning about the Bruise Healing Paste in class, the first year knew she needed some on hand. So she had reached out to her professor Méabh Regan to have time in the dungeons to practice her brews. In addition, she had ensured she had the ingredients on hand to create such a potion. A few ingredients lacked from her first-year kit from having used them up in class, but nothing her aunt couldn't assist with.
Settling at her workstation, she looked over the pages of her textbook. She set her ingredients on the table: 3 Murtlap Tentacles, 1 Jar of Honey, 2 Measures of Bubotuber Pus, 6 Seashells, and 2 Measures of Flobberworm Mucus. Alora counted the shells and checked her stock to ensure she had enough. Once pleased by the lot, she looked at her text once more. She treated potions like she did baking, following the recipe exactly. She'd been lucky that her mother had allowed her to play with ingredients in the kitchen growing up, allowing her to make mistakes to explain the importance of recipes.
She read it once and then one more time before looking at her cauldron. Then, finally, her pale hand reached for the heating element, setting it to medium heat. It would take ten minutes, so she put the timer and began to prep her ingredients. She lined up her three murtlap tentacles and pulled the honey jar closer. With the cauldron heated properly, she added the three tentacles and the jar of honey before stirring it five times clockwise.
With her dragon hide gloves, she pulled the cauldron from the fire for the next steps. Promptly, she added two fluid ounces of Bubotuber Pus and stirred the mixture 3 times, counter-clockwise this time, before placing it back on the fire. Over it, she waved her wand and put the timer on for an hour.
While the solution simmered, she took the time to crush 6 shells into a fine powder, setting it aside for the next phase. Three pinches of it sat in a bowl beside the cauldron while she measured out two measures of Flobberworm mucus and set it beside the powder.
She added the shell powder at the end of the hour, followed by the Flobberworm mucus measures. She left it on the heat while occasionally stirring clockwise until the potion reached a thick paste-like consistency. Once achieved, she waved her wand once more.
Reaching the end of the process, she turned off the heat and allowed the paste to cool within the cauldron before filling it into an airtight jar for future use. Wanting to ensure she did it right, she brought it to Professor Regan to assess.

Alora Graves was fascinated by the art of potion-making. After learning of the Pompion Potion while in Herbology, she knew she had to try it out for herself.
After clearing a time to practice in the dungeons with the potion master, she had decided to try brewing a potion that had always intrigued her: the Flitterby Potion. She would require two Flitterby Moths, four Bouncing Bulbs, and four Foxglove Flowers to brew it.
Alora gathered the needed ingredients and made her way to the potions classroom in the depths of the castle. She placed a standard-size 2 cauldron on the fire and let it heat up to a high temperature.
Once the cauldron was hot enough, Alora added the Flitterby Moths to a mortar and began to crush them into a pulp. She then added them to the cauldron and stirred it clockwise until the mixture turned green, which took approximately 2 minutes.
Next, she squashed the Bouncing Bulbs with the flat of her knife and added them to the mortar. After crushing them, she added them to the cauldron and stirred the mixture counter-clockwise until it changed color to red, which took approximately 3 minutes.
Alora then thinly sliced the Foxglove Flowers and added them to the cauldron, stirring slowly clockwise for 1 minute. She then let the mixture simmer until it turned orange, which took a further 6-8 minutes.
Once the potion turned the right color, Alora removed it from the heat and waved her wand over it to complete it. She was pleased with her efforts and couldn't wait to try it out. Perhaps she would invite some of her wizarding friends over to try it with her, or maybe she'd keep it for a rainy day.

Winona enjoyed spending time in the basements of Hogwarts, where her beloved house of snakes was located. But this time, the reason she walked down the stairs was not to visit the Slytherin common room.
The young girl was very dedicated to continuously educate herself further on all of her classes. But when it came to potions, it seemed taking notes and studying off a dusty old book wasn't enough. She had to practice brewing potions on her own if she was going to call herself competent.
After placing the little tin cauldron she had previously bought before coming to Hogwarts on the countertop, she took out a little notebook from her pocket. Not that she didn't have all of the ingredients and the recipe perfectly memorised, the perfectionism in her wouldn't let her start any task without a perfectly written plan.
First ingredient was Lethe River Water, which she brought with her in a small glass bottle. Before pouring any of the liquid, she pushed her glasses back and tied her hair back into a ponytail to avoid having impaired vision and loose strands of hair distracting her. With a slow motion, she added two drops of the river water to her cauldron. After that she put the cauldron on low heat and started to count seconds.
Once she was done counting up to 20, she took the cauldron off the heat and added 2 valerian sprigs. With the help of a big spoon she stirred everthing clockwise for 3 times.
Next up was her favourite part, waving her wand over the mixture, this step made her feel like an advanced potioneer despite how simple everything was so far.
Taking a quick look at her notebook, she read that it needed brew for 45 to 60 minutes. She decided to wait for a full hour, to see if it would be more potent.
While waiting, she added 2 measures of standard ingredient and 4 mistletoe berries to a mortar, grinding them up into a medium-fine powder with the help of a pestle. There was still a long while left to wait, during which she kept checking the time obsessively.
Right as 59 minutes and 30 seconds were passed, she took a pinch of the powder she had previously prepared and added it into the cauldron, which was quickly followed by the addition of a second pinch.
She stirred the mixture for 5 times, anti-clockwise. Finishing up by waving her wand, she smiled in excitement since her first potion was finally completed.

Before going back home from Hogwarts, Winona and a friend of hers had talked about how they could use potions for a silly prank. Back then she did not take it seriously and laughed the idea off, but being back home felt so boring and unexciting that she remembered about it again. Not that she had any certain plans of using it in the near future, but Winona thought it could still be fun to have some Pompion potion around with her.
In the attic of her parents' manor, her father had built a potions lab years ago. After losing his sudden enthusiasm for the art of potionmaking, he almost forgot about the place and left it to collect dust. Normally, Winona wasn't allowed to go there without supervision. For that reason, she waited until her parents both fell asleep and quietly sneaked into the attic with a little bag full of ingredients she had gathered over time.
It took her by surprise how dusty and deserted the place looked compared to the rest of the house. The squeamish girl had to spend a long time cleaning everything that was going to be used for the potion before even starting.
After cleaning a standard size 2 cauldron, she placed it over high heat. While it was heating, she put flitterby moths to a mortar and crushed them into a pulp using a pestle.
With the help of a big wooden spoon, she put the pulp into the heated cauldron and started to stir it in a clockwise motion. She stopped stirring after just a couple of minutes, when its colour turned into green.
On a cutting board, she put bouncing bulbs and squashed them using the side of a knife before putting them into the mortar. After crushing them a little more, she added the crushed bouncing bulbs to the cauldron.
Taking the wooden spoon once again, she stirred the mixture, for about 3 minutes this time. Seeing the contents of the cauldron turning red right before her eyes, Winona's eyes widened with excitement over how fascinating the whole process is to observe.
Going back to the cutting board and knife, she sliced foxglove flowers into thin pieces and added them to the red mixture in the cauldron. Slowly and carefully, she continued stirring the mixture for a minute before leaving it to simmer.
For the next 7 minutes, Winona sat down and waited as the mixture once again changed its color, this time turning into a bright orange. Holding the cauldron from its handles to remove it from the heat, it felt heavy for the tiny girl but she managed to safely place it on the table. For the last step, she waved her wand over the cauldron and went to look for glass vials to store her finished potion.

ReducioZach's first impression of the Potions class was one of discomfort. The class was located in the basement and the atmosphere felt damp. However, his discomfort disappeared when he began to learn about potions and their practical uses. Zach found the Potions class enjoyable. On that day, the class discussed antidotes and the students were taught how to make an Antidote to Common Poisons. Each student had their tools and ingredients on their desks, including Zach. He opened his book to the page that the Professor had mentioned as a detailed guide to making the potion. Zach quickly read through the page and understood the general steps. He then decided to start making the potion while keeping the book open nearby.
The ingredients he needs are 1 Bezoar, 2 measures of Standard Ingredient, 1 piece of Unicorn Horn, and 2 Mistletoe Berries. First, he puts the Bezoar into the mortar and grinds it into a fine powder. Next, he adds 4 measures of the ground Bezoar into the cauldron along with 2 measures of the Standard Ingredient. He then lights the fire to medium heat for 5 seconds, waves his wand, and lets the potion brew for 30 minutes. After 30 minutes, Zach adds a pinch of unicorn horn and stirs the cauldron 2 times clockwise. Then he adds 2 mistletoe berries and stirs it again 2 times counterclockwise. Finally, he imbues the cauldron with magic as the finishing touch. He then shows the result to the Professor to be evaluated if his Antidote to Common Poisons is successful. Zach is quite proud of himself for successfully completing the potion.

Potion | Revive Potion
Ingredients required | 5 Murtlap Tentacles, 3 Spines of Lionfish, 2 Measures of Salt, 5 drops of Essence of Wormwood, 1 Sprig of Dittany
Roleplay (200 words min) |ReducioShe was never a "good student", not even a decent one in fact. It was a miracle onto Merlin that she had made it to the sixth year. Certainly she was far from "right" and never quite sane, but she was more capable than others have perhaps credited her.
She had turned 17 this past October, the Trace Charm no longer bound her to the confined of Hogwarts and truly that was when she had begun to flourish. Away from the judging eyes of her peers, the curious glances of the staff and in truth her own apprehension, the gazes might not have been meant for her, those whispered words might not have been about her yet there was a sense of ego in her paranoia that caused her to look and work inward.
Her grades were good enough, strange considering her sometimes eccentric persona. Good enough that the potions she would fail to make in class under the watchful eye of her professor would be accomplished when she was home. Home was this sort of semi-sterile state at all times, minimalism was to put it lightly. Erin was not the only strange one in her family, her father James was even stranger. His need for cleanliness and an aseptic environment did her well, there was no risk of potion residue in her cauldron.
She had collected what she needed after she left the London Station. Ingredients were never cheap, something that she would find vexing but none-the-less necessary: five Murtlap Tentacles, three Spines of Lionfish, two Measures of Salt, five drops of Essence of Wormwood, and one Sprig of Dittany. each was carefully packaged in wax paper, less the essence of wormwood which was in a small stoppered phial. She would place the items on the counter across from the fireplace and check the cauldron that hung from the iron hook.
The recipe was simple enough, she pulled the slip of folded paper from her jacket pocket and laid it out on the table with flattened palms and read over the instructions once again.
Purified water, a staple oddly enough considering that this was home. She would pull a stopped bottle from beneath the counter onto the marble workspace and and uncork the large jug. Tipping the jug on the axis of the edge of the counter she would pour the bottle's contents into the cauldron and put the empty bottle on the edge of the counter for later disposal.Fill cauldron with purified water
Chop 3 Murtlap Tentacles and add to cauldron
Allow to simmer for 5 minutes
Meanwhile, grind 3 spines of lionfish into coarse powder
Add to cauldron
Add 2 measures of salt to cauldron
Stir 3 times, clockwise
Add 5 drops of Essence of Wormwood to cauldron
Add 1 sprig of Dittany to cauldron
Stir 5 times, counter-clockwise
Wave wand over cauldron
Fill into vials
Taking a clean knife from the drawer she would hold the knife up to the light - was it truly clean. Not "clean enough" but "spotless" and the flickering candlelight would reflect off the glossy silver. Indeed, it was spotless, as were all things in her homestead. She would lay the trio of murtlap tentacles on the counter and carefully, evenly chop into mince-like cubes the tentacles on the cutting board and then slide the ingredients into the cauldron.
The cauldron would bubble as the murtlap-water came to a simmer.
During those five minutes she would tarry on, reading the next step in the process carefully. She would need to grind three spines of lionfish into a coarse powder. She had a few options for how she wished to accomplish this, a mallet was one (and likely the more enjoyable option) but the noise would pull father from his studies and agitate him. No, she would need another option, the bean grinder would have to do she reasoned. She would assess the grinder for cleanliness, expecting nothing less only to find uncharacteristic reside from a coffee bean in the grinder. With a sigh she would quickly cleanse the device, thankful that being seventeen was good for something because the manual means of cleaning the device would have been nothing but cumbersome and tedious.
Also, it would take too long and the potion would be ruined.
Those five short minutes moved fast, but she would add the coarsely ground lionfish spines to the cauldron, add two measures of salt and stir thrice clockwise. She would look into the cauldron, she wanted to be sure that the concoction was going as it had during the professor's demonstration. This was not the sort of potion one would want to fail, the moment of need for such a thing left no room for error she reasoned.
She would add five dops of Wormwood and one spring of dittany to the cauldron, taking a mental note of the strange scent of the brewing potion. She would stir five more times, this time counter-clockwise and wave her wand over the cauldron.
It was complete or so she hoped. she would not truly know until she tried to use one of these potions on a friend or an asset. the contents would be poured into a set of phials.

Potion | Antidote to Uncommon Poisons
Ingredients required | 2 Fire Seeds, 3 Chizpurfle Carapaces, 2 Billywig Stings, 3 Measures of Powdered Graphorn Horn
Roleplay (200 words min) |ReducioAfter she had (hopefully) completed the Revive Potion, Erin would return to her bags. she had several lined up on the floor alongside the counter. Four dark-grey, oil-soaked cloth bags that had no design of interest, much like her strange, plain, utilitarian homestead, it was unadorned. The countertops were empty, not even commonly used appliances were on display. She would lift the still warm cauldron from the hearth and thoroughly cleanse the iron vessel. She would do the same for the knife before she pulled the instructions for this next potion - something intended to heal someone, such as herself, if she was afflicted by an uncommon potion.
She hoped that she would not need it, but considering the experiences she has had in Hogwarts to date, she would not put anything past her peers or her cousins. The folded bit of parchment gave her everything that she (hopefully) needed:
This one called for a mortar and pestle, she would pull the both of them from a cabinet. The shallow stone bowl and simple stone implement would press hard against those fire seeds and she would both hear and feel a satisfying crack under the weight of her movements. She would make short work of the fire seeds, being a muscle wizard had its advantages.Add 2 Fire Seeds to mortar
Roughly crush the seed to break it into pieces
Add pieces to your cauldron
Split open 3 Chizpurfle carapaces and add to your cauldron
Stir 5 times, counter-clockwise
Add 2 Billywig Stings to mortar
Crush into a fine powder
Add powder to cauldron
Stir 2 times, clockwise
Wave your wand
Set to low heat and leave to brew for 60-40 minutes
Add 3 measures of powdered graphorn horn to cauldron
Boil on high heat for 20 seconds
Take cauldron off the flame
Stir 3 times, clockwise
Wave your wand to complete the potion
She would pour the contents of the stone bowl into the cauldron and then turn back to the counter. On the table, neatly lined up was her mise en place essentially, not that she was organized enough to have already split the Chizpurfle carapaces, but she did so now and then promptly added them to the cauldron. She would stir the crushed fire seed and split chizpurfle carapaces five times counter clockwise, ensuring that they were well-mixed.
Next was the Billywig stigs, she would sigh, rinsing out the mortar and drying it quickly. Doing something out of step, even if all of the ingredients would be ultimately combined could have devastating consequences, ones she had (likely) witnessed in the classroom throughout the years. There was no such thing as "good enough" when it came to following brewing instructions she had learned. she would then crush the Billywig stigs in the mortar and pestle before she added them to the cauldron also. it took longer since the instructions called for a fine powder so she ensured that there was nary a chunk, a lump in her shallow bowl before she added the billywig stigs to the cauldron.
She would stir twice clockwise and then wave her wand over the cauldron.
It was now the easy-part, let it brew on a low heat for 40 to 60 minutes. She did not care greatly for the range, debating internally if she should simply pick the median or use another means to determine doneness. At 40 minutes it looked like it had when they were in class, she thought but she was not entirely certain. She frowned and stared at the cauldron with a hard gaze, thinking that she spied perhaps a lump, the potion had not quite accommodated to the ingredients. It needed a little more time she concluded and prayed she was right.
It would be at the 45 minute mark that she would believe that she had done it.
She would add the three measures of powdered graphorn horn to cauldron and add fuel to the fire. the large flames would lick the cauldron and bring the contents to a hard boil that she maintained for only 20 seconds that she would count out on her winding watch.
With care she would remove the cauldron from the flame and give the potion a final stir. thrice more, clockwise. It looked about right, she would have to test it on someone (like her little brother) before she was wholly certain. A final wave of her wand, she would place the contents of the cauldron in stoppered phials.

Potion | Anti-Paralysis-Potion
Ingredients required | Two Fluid Ounces of Syrup of Hellebore, Six Ounces of Stewed Mandrake, One Piece of Unicorn Horn, Four Fluid Ounces of Moondew, Twelve Fluid Ounces of Honeywater
Roleplay (200 words min) |ReducioWhile the Antidote for Uncommon Potions simmered for a total of 45 minutes she would accomplish her Mise en place for her next potion, the anti-paralysis potion. She had been concerned about the potential of her peers as they grew in both power and recklessness.
She would open the jar of stewed mandrakes and chop the mandrake into fine cubes and she would pre-measure the Syrup of Hellebore and chopped mandrake and place them aside in their individual glass containers. She would then prep the unicorn horn, an expensive ingredient that she would have to take care to not mess up or waste. Using the same motar and pestle, that she would again clean and dry thoroughly before she put it to use once more, she would pulverize the unicorn horn.
She would have to pull out the instructions, her memory only went so far. The folded bit of parchment from her jacket pocket would remind her of the moondew and honeywater, she would pre-measure the both of them also and place them in their separate containers.
With not long to spare, she would complete her Antidote to Uncommon Potions, cleanse the cauldron and then carry on with her third potion in what would prove to be an all-day process during one of her rare 'vacations' back home. With flattened palm she would straighten out the instructions, she wanted them visible for the entire brewing process so that she could be certain that she followed the steps exactly.
More purified water was needed. she would acquire another jug of water and pour the contents of the jug into the cauldron. At least this would be a soupy mixture as opposed to ]a dry start that ultimately liquified like the previous potion which she was afraid she would burn by mistake.Fill medium-sized cauldron with purified water, heat to a low simmer
Chop a stewed mandrake into small cubes
Measure 2 fluid ounces of Syrup of Hellebore and add to cauldron
Measure 6 ounces of the chopped mandrake and add to cauldron
Slowly stir for 30 seconds to combine the ingredients
Place over medium flame and heat for 2 minutes until mixture begins to bubble
Pulverise a piece of Unicorn Horn in the mortar
Add 1 tablespoon of the pulverized horn into cauldron
Stir 4 times, clockwise
Add 4 fluid ounces of Moondew to cauldron
Wait for the resulting thick clouds of steam to dissipate
Slowly pour 12 fluid ounces of honey water into cauldron while steadily stirring clockwise until all has been added
Wave wand to stabilize and leave to boil for 35-60 minutes until the mixture thickens to resemble a dark amber honey
Wave wand again
Take off the fire, cool, and pour into vials
So would fill the medium-sized cauldron with purified water and heat the water-filled cauldron to a low simmer. she would then add two fluid ounces of syrup of hellebore and six ounces of chopped mandrake to the water-filled cauldron.
With a slow and purposeful hand she would slowly stir the mixture for 30 seconds to combine the ingredients. the warmth from the hearth felt good. She would add fuel to the flames, bringing the fireplace to a medium heat beneath the cauldron. The mixture would begin to bubble approximately two minutes later, she intently watched the process. She would then add the pulverized unicorn horn to the cauldron, reserving any "extra" for potential later use.
She would stir the contents of the cauldron that was slowly becoming more like a stew four times, clockwise. Then she added the moondew she had previously measured to the concoction and a cloud of steam would form over the cauldron.
It would take several minutes for the thick clouds of steam to dissipate but once they had she would slowly pour 12 fluid ounces of pre-measured honey water into cauldron while steadily stirring clockwise until all of the honey water has been added.
The mixture would then become somewhat volatile. That was to be expected, she would grab her wand from her waist and wave it over the cauldron to stabilize and leave the contents to boil for 35-60 minutes. Again, this one had a range, but she had a visual indicator which put her at ease. She would need to wait until the potion became thick, like gravy and came to resemble a dark amber honey. it would take 57 minutes to accomplish that. Time she would spend preparing for her fourth and final potion.
It was done. She would wave her wand again and take the cauldron off the fire and allow the potion to cool. that would take some time considering the lengthy boil and the hot iron, but when the cauldron was finally cooled she would pour the potion into stoppered phials.

Potion | Invisibility Potion
Ingredients required | Standard Size 4 Cauldron, six Cherries, one Chicken (whole), Spider Legs (as required for 2 measures of ground Spider Legs), three measures of Beetle’s Black Eyes, one drop of Essence of Demiguise, Sponge
Roleplay (200 words min) |ReducioThis was one of those potions that was going to take some time to complete. It was mostly the boiled chicken that would take some time, three hours in fact. She would start to pre-measure her ingredients during her downtime for the Anti-Paralysis-Potion and she would take the cauldron used specifically for this potion to a second fireplace and get the chicken to start to boil while she managed the rest of the ingredients and completed her Anti-Paralysis-Potion to satisfaction.
With her instructions in hand she would review the ingredients: six Cherries, one Chicken (whole), two measures of ground Spider Legs, three measures of Beetle’s Black Eyes, one drop of Essence of Demiguise, and a Sponge.
The chicken would be placed in a cauldron and put over a fire where it could boil undisturbed for three hours. She would take note of the time that she placed the chicken on the fire and scribble down a note to herself what the time would be three hours from then. She had little trust for her memory.
With the knife she had cleaned after she had made the Antidote to Uncommon Poisons and used the knife to split the trio of Chizpurfle Carapaces she would now chop the six cherries. she would place the chopped cherries in a clean, shallow glass container and set it aside. She would then pre-measure the beetle eyes and the tincture of demiguise. Finally she would take out the spider's legs and grind the spider legs into a fine powder. She was unprepared for how many spider legs she would need to crush in that mortar and pestle to make two full measures. it weas a good thing she pre-measuring everything that she needed.
By this time she was busy once more with her previous potion that was in the works and her attention needed to be undivided. This was fine, she needed that time to finish boiling the full chicken.
She would return to this potion with minutes to spare as the three hours were nearly up for the boiled chicken. she would pull out the instructions and make sure that she followed of the steps. This was a potion she planned to use before there was an emergency and she wanted to be certain that it was done "right."
The instructions were as follows:
She would drop a sponge, three in fact to remove the water. The scent of cooked chicken filling the room and her now heavy sponges, she would peer at the instructions to recall what the next step was. Yes, remove the chicken bits. It was mostly macerated, boiled chicken meat that had fallen off the bones. It was okay for making a stew of some sort, perhaps a cottage pie but not much more. She would separate the bones from the meat, it would serve as dinner later.Boil the chicken in the cauldron for 3 hours.
Use a sponge to remove the water.
Conserve the chicken water collected in the sponge, you may need several.
Remove the chicken remains from the cauldron.
With a clean knife chop 6 cherries into coarse pieces.
Slide chopped cherries into the cauldron.
Return the chicken water from the sponge to the cauldron by wringing the sponges dry.
Stir thrice clockwise
Allow to simmer on a low heat until the potion turns purple.
Using a mortar and pestle, grind spider legs into a fine powder.
Place 2 measures of ground spider legs into the cauldron.
Stir once clockwise.
Add in 3 measures of beetle eyes.
The mixture should become bubbly.
A drop of tincture of demiguise.
Allow to simmer for 12 minutes.
The potion should turn silver in color.
Wave wand over the mixture to finish the potion.
She would add the pre-cut, pre-measured cherries to the cauldron and return the chicken water from the sponge to the cauldron by wringing the sponges dry. The cherry-chicken water had a sickly reddish hue to it that did not appear to be particularly appetizing. She would still stir thrice clockwise and allow the concoction to simmer on a low heat until that greyish-pink mixture turned purple.
Once the concoction turned purple, that was her indicator that she needed to add the spider legs. It turned fast so she was thankful that it was pre-measured. She would again stir, this time only once clockwise and then add in 3 measures of beetle eyes.
She would wait for the next visual indicator, the mixture would become bubbly. She would add a drop of tincture of demiguise and allow this potion to simmer for 12 minutes. she timed it, but in truth she would again monitor for that visual indicator, the color change from purple to silver and when it changed over it would be close to twelve minutes. It was done, she would wave her wand a final time over the potion and then place the contents in stoppered phials.
