They probably weren't the best but he felt like something was needed for the club members, not just there pets. He also had his satchel at his side, filled with stuff he would use to get things ready.
His owl flew over head waiting for the hufflepuff to sit. Soon he arrived at a tree, one that had a nice shaded area below. He held the brownies under one arm as he grabbed a blanket out of the satchel. André set it down (the blanket) in a quick and messy way too get the tray on it. Before he set it up to look nice.
The hogwarts pet society. A club André had token over, he thought it would be a good way to meet people. As well as pets, he hoped that the meeting would go well. With no pets going crazy and such. He had no doubts that Miko would not be the one to cause a Ruckus. He was a very well behaved owl. But the other pets.. That was were he was unsure. The members should be arriving any moment now. It was a normal Friday afternoon, Jan 13th, and it was exactly 1 week into the new semester at Hogwarts. And it was the scheduled time for the first meeting of the Hogwarts Pet Society club, a club Rita had joined with her lovely cat Peanut last November, in the first semester of her Second Year in Hogwarts. Now, a new year had arrived, and the old leader of the club, Quinn, had diappeared in the school maybe due to family issues or other things, and now the person in charge of club was someone the black-haired Second Year Hufflepuff beater was kind of unfamiliar with, @André Lebedev, who was probably a first year. The black-haired first string beater wondered how he would operate this club and probably add something new to the club. Anyway, as the new pet club leader, André had informed those who wanted to remain in the club and the new members by owls to come to the club meeting on Jan 13th in the Hogwarts grounds after class. So, when the class finished that afternoon, Rita immediately went back to her plant palace dorm to get her lovely cat Peanut, then put on a warm coat outside her Hufflepuff robes, and went to the club meeting.
When Rita arrived at the scheduled meeting place, which was under a big tree in the school grounds, she found out she was the first person to arrive at the meeting. There was only a boy with short curly black hair and an owl beside him, who looked vaguely familiar to the Second Year Hufflepuff beater. "He looks somewhat familiar... I must have seen him somewhere... Oh, I remembered! Is he that person who thought I was a muggle, and tried to trick me by asking if I knew what Ravenclaw is? He must be that boy! So, his name is André? And he even owns an owl?" The Chinese-English girl with short straight black hair and yellow glasses thought.
"So, your name is André and this is your owl? Are you that boy who mistaked me for a muggle and tried to trick me by asking if I know what Ravenclaw is during Christmas break? Anyway, my name is Rita and this is my cat, Peanut. I suppose this is the meeting of the Hogwarts Pet Society club, and you pretty don`t mind if I take one of this brownies, right? By the way, thanks for organizing this club and providing those tasty brownies!" Rita then waved to the other boy, before sitting down on the blanket provided by the boy and putting Peanut beside her, taking one of the brownies, and beginning to wait for other members to come.

Valarie hadn’t been too sure about bringing Fred, her beloved cat, outside to the club meeting. After all, Fred had already declared his troublemaker streak. Valarie had finally decided to bring the cat but hold him tightly. Valarie marched outside with Fred tucked neatly in the bag she normally used to carry books. His head poked out top of the bag and he meowed up at Valarie when the pair got closer and closer to the others. Valarie spotted two other students, both students she hadn’t met.
“Hello! I’m Valarie but you can call me Val. And this troublemaker is Fred. I have to assume this is the pet club meeting?”Valarie chirped in a cheerful voice. Fred was attempting to jump out of the bag put Valarie grabbed him just before he would have jumped. She clicked her tongue and laughed gently. Valarie placed Fred back down in the bag and he looked around confused, meowing loudly. Valarie just shook her head and laughed. Fred was a definite troublemaker. Valarie looked back up from her cat and cleared her throat.
“Fred might be a troublemaker but he just needs to calm down a touch. Don’t you, Fred?” Valarie smiled.

Bouncy was just a ball of fluffy cuteness. And mischief. Everyone conveniantelly forgot that, so most saw Bouncy as an angelic little, perfect pet....well, let's not go too far to say how wrong they were, for that would take hours.

Duvessa wore a casual outfit - pale blue jeans with a butterfly stitched on one of it's side pockets and a sweater that was quite soft and covered her neck slightly. She also wore a look of slight regret as she walked to the Pet Society meeting - surely Bouncy would be the only one causing havoc? She groaned inwardly to think of what it would do next. But knowing Bouncy, it could be anything.
She saw a small group and walked towards them, already easily being able to hold Bouncy still on her shoulder but calming, rhythmetic steps. She heard a girl's remark about how troublesome Fred is and a smile spread on her face. She was only nice to Bouncy, her friends or people who had pets (but those were rare) although she entered the club for Bouncy (not caring for her time, just her little friend's time) so was prepared to be at least polite, but she felt like they would hit off - especially with the owner of Fred.
"Don't worry, I've got Mischief Maker number 2 here too. This is my little furry friend, Bouncy. And I'm Duvessa." She said, as the little grey patch stuck out it's nose quiveringly and took the scene in.

The Hogwarts Pet Society's third meeting was being held this afternoon out on the grounds somewhere. Andre had taken over the club and was in charge of it from now on. However, he'd enlisted Kim and Bailey to serve as his co-leaders, which meant they still had some responsibility within the club. He'd just finished classes for the day and gone back to whip up some homemade mini sandwiches. They didn't take long to do since there was no actual cooking involved and tasted delicious. Ham and cheese were the best ones. Kim made them Japanese style with the crusts cut off all the bread and placed them into a rather large container. Sticking it into his satchel, Puffie riding on his shoulder, Kim gathered other items together and then headed off for the third meeting of the club. He was wearing a dark brown button-up coat, with a light tannish-brown turtleneck beneath it to keep him warm, along with a pair of dark brown slacks. If Kim happened to remove both upper articles of clothing for some reason, one would see he was wearing a long-sleeved white shirt too. Not that it would happen, there was no reason for him to strip in cold weather like this, right????? Kim knew Andre was bringing brownies and pet treats. So he'd opted not to bring a sweet, as some would already be there. Savory ones would compliment them. A yawn escaped his lips as Kim tossed back an allergy potion and then made his way down to the grounds. After a few seconds of searching, the blue haired teen found his destination. Andre had set down a blanket beneath a large tree with a tray on top of it to keep the blanket from blowing away. Only three members seemed to have come so far, not counting Andre. All three were girls and girls he actually recognized from a distance. Rita, Valarie, and Duvessa. Unfortunately, two of them seemed to have brought felines with them... Even though he wouldn't be bothered by his allergies, as he'd taken an allergy potion already, his fear of cats remained strong with him. Kim blamed his mother, not that he'd ever say those words aloud. Cats always tended to love him for some reason. Even though he went out of his way to avoid them and showed his distaste and dislike of them. It just seemed that whenever you hated something, they always happened to stay around you but if you loved something, they always tended to avoid you. Why was that?! It was stupid!!! Really, shouldn't it be the opposite? "Yo." Kim said, raising a hand into the air, giving his trademark greeting to them. "I brought some mini ham-and-cheese sandwiches." The blue haired teen told them and reached into his satchel to bring out the container. Glancing around to take notice of where the cats were, Kim gingerly approached and set the container down onto the blanket. Then, he backed up and put as much distance between himself and the cats as possible. "Sorry, I don't do too well with cats. So I'll just keep my distance for now." He told them and Puffie squeaked out greetings to everyone all around him. The pink puffball loved attention and getting to know new people. He also loved reuniting with people who pet and gave him treats all the time. Puffie's squeaks tended to change, depending upon his mood and what he wanted from others. However, this might bring about his downfall in a pet setting like this where there were tons of cats around the area. As the cats might think Puffie and all other pygmy puffs were squeak toys for them to rip apart and play with for their own pleasure. Luckily, Puffie was on top of Kim's shoulder now. A very good place to be. It was one of his favorite positions and not just for safety purposes but for vantage points too. Right now, he was currently out of reach. But if the cats weren't trained well, Puffie's life could be in danger if he hopped onto the ground later. After all, it wasn't as if Kim could save him. He was terrified of cats too! |

January. The 13th. at least its not a friday... bailey thought, and then smacked herself on the head. it was friday... and the 13th. she sighed, and said to herself "it being a friday and the 13th isn't a problem. superstition does not matter... its not real.." bailey kept telling herself this, trying to convince herself that all would go well.
Then she realized - her bad luck had struck. She had forgotten that she had a club meeting. Bailey changed into a cute outfit - tan slacks, a white shirt, tan pink vest, ombry sweater, tan hat, and more tan on her boots. Quite a color chromatic outfit, but it was comfy, and she liked to think that it made her blue eyes pop.
Grabbing twinkle, bailey packed up her school bag quickly - a notebook, her book she was reading (hunger games book one), her wand, her water bottle, and some writing utensils. She grabbed the tray of sausage stuffed kolache's she had made earlier that day.
Bailey, with her bag over her shoulder, and twinkle on her heels, and holding the tray, made her way down to the ground where the meeting was taking place. Bailey arrived, and spotted Kim, Andre, Duvessa, Rita, and Valery.
Bailey grinned and said "hello yall!!! sorry im a little late - i lost track of time. did i miss anything? ohh and i brought sausage stuffed Kolache, a family recipe, from Poland!"
Bailey settled onto the ground, and Twinkle curled around bailey's right knee, luckly. Kim was a little bit aways from bailey, and on her left side. Twinkle was farther away from kim, who was both allergic to cats and terrified of them.
Bailey smiled at kim, and held the tray within his reach, offering him one. "taste it - and let me know what you think!! it's my grandmother's recipe, she taught me to make them a few summers ago!"

A second year from his own house, Rita Su and her cat Peanut. "Umm- yeah that was me. This is my snowy owl Miko, and yeas. feel free to have some brownie's." He smiled awkwardly, he had almost forgotten about that. At least he was right. She was from Hogwarts. The next person to show up was Valarie, or Val and her cat Fred. An apparent trouble maker.. She did say he only had to calm down a tad, "Yes this is the pet club meeting." He smiled at the girl, indicating her to sit down.
Duvessa arrived pretty much right behind Val, With her rat Bouncy. Another trouble maker. André welcomed her and her rat as the Kim showed up with a 'yo' and sandwiches. He watched as the boy set them down not to far from the tray he had. "Thanks for bring the sandwiches Kim! That's fine to keep your distance, You can her me though right?" He asked, He would have to hear for the meeting.
Next up was Bailey Glade and her cat. "No worries! I think were now ready to get started. So all's good! if anyone shows up later we can just ketch them up." He smiled, Five people. Defiantly not bad!! Three cats, one owl, one pygmy puff, and a rat. Nice verity. André grabbed one of the Sammie's that Kim had made, "Im pretty sure most of us know each other.. for those who don't we can all go and Say our name, house, year, pets name, and pronouns. I will go first and then just follow the rough circle we have. He paused for a breath before continuing. "Im André. a first year hufflepuff he/him and this is my Owl Miko" He looked over to the bird who was now sitting in the grass. They weren't exactly his favorite, only because he knew there would be multiple cats present at the area. But other than that, Kim loved being around animals and creatures in general. It was a shame Bailey had a cat instead of anything else. As she offered him the tray of food she'd brought, Kim quickly took a Kolache and munched on it, while keeping a wary eye on the cats. "Mm. Tastes delicious." The blue haired teen told her, his lips twitching into what could have almost been a smile. Andre spoke to him, asking if he could hear him from his current position. "Of course. I'd move closer if I couldn't!" He reassured his cousin. Andre introduced himself first and Kim decided to go next, since it didn't seem as if anyone else wanted to be the first one after him. "Yo. I'm Kim, a second year duelist from Gryffindor. This is Puffie, my pink pygmy puff and he loves treats and food in general. But he adores pets and attention more." The second year told everyone and Puffie squeaked a greeting out to everyone at the same time. "I don't do well with cats, being allergic and I also don't really like them in general." He admitted. "Sorry to those with cats." Kim added. A breeze swept through the area, ruffling hair and leaves around him. It felt rather nice and refreshing. |
