i don't believe it is against the rules but we are subscribed to the chat thread and it can be a bit intrusive. as i've said, i don't think there's an official rule against it but please consider that it might not be extremely polite. you've already made an advertisement in the official thread. i think most people aren't interested in what you sell because they might not have any benefits for them. for example, someone doesn't need to say that they've bought butterbear ooc and to say they've bought it ic. a lot of people want banners and code, so you can try to do that as well.
anyways, anyone else please correct me if i'm wrong.

elizabeth, this doesn't mean you're in trouble. you're new on the site so we can all understand that you're just trying to make some money and you aren't 100% clear of the rules. i just want a mod to help clarify.
