As long as she entered the room, she was greeted with kindness by all the others, Ying felt that for sure she had made the right decision in joining them in that game. Raizel was the only one she had spoke too before, she was one of the first friends she had made inside that castle and man adventures had been planned and lived by the two of them. Was not a surprise to find her here!
Another girl was there too. Red hair, green eyes and small freckles graced her cheerful face. Somehow she reminded her of Alana, her best friend and dorm mate. Ying sympathized with her almost instantaneously, "Hi Ro! Very nice to meet you!" Ying answered her with a warm smile.
Her eyes directed to the dark-haired first year boy, that had always kept his words to himself. Ying felt contradictory things about the young boy. He seemed to be very introverted and this made it difficult for her to understand his personality and intentions, on the other hand it only made her feel more curious about him.
A smile appeared on Ying's face when she heard Alan explaining what the game was about, which promised a lot of fun! She wondered where her prefect had take that idea from, because it sounded genius and hilarious at same time. She never had met Alan before, but she was glad for this opportunity to get to know him, once she was hoping to become a member of the Gryffindor duelling team.
Looking up she saw the flying key hovering over their heads while she carefully listened to her team's captain explaining the rules. "Nice!" She said enthusiastically when he finished. After all the instructions given, Alan started paired them into two teams, Ying's partner was the Ravenclaw boy named Ashley. Was the second time she had encountered the blue-eyed boy, but was the first time knowing his name. She smiled cheerfully at him and gestured a small wave to him, welcoming him to the team, before she headed to her rightful position to the start of the game.
Looking across from her were the other team, Raizel once again was in the opposite side of her wand, "Alright, the universe is definitely telling us something Rai!" Ying joked with a small chuckle at her brunette friend. "Good luck to you all!" She said looking from one to the other two first years.
Raizel and Ro seemed to want to go for the key with all they had advancing much more then her or Ashley. Ying looked at the boy, trying to understand what was his idea, if they shared the same thoughts about what had just happened and how would they react to gain the game.

Upon the start of the game, Raizel wasn’t expecting a peaceful start. She took the risk of running towards where the key is, half expecting a flipendo going for her or her partner since they’ll be vulnerable while they try to go for the key but nothing came her way nor towards her partner, Aurora. That left a confused look on her face as she continued on, her eyes falling onto their opponent. Perhaps they were still a bit confused on what to do. Then again, they can’t let this chance go. She returned her focus on the game and then on the key that’s still far from her or her partner’s reach but they just have to keep going for it.
Then again, this peacefulness might not continue on now that they have the advantage in terms of distance and she knows her friend won’t let them win that easily and her partner, Ashley doesn’t seem like the type to let them grab that sweet victory without a fight or at least trying to mess up with their momentum. Who knows what exactly they have under their sleeves, perhaps having a slow start is a part of it, looking for an opportunity to strike them once the right time comes. Just thinking about that is making her nervous but that soon turned into excitement, making her grin. For some reason, she kept getting matched up against her friend which she doesn't mind really. "We do seem to find facing off against each other." She replied to her friend, a smile creeping up her face.

To be honest, I wasn't really expecting such a quiet and peaceful start. I was actually expecting the other team to advance roughly. Well, they didn't. In fact, they didn't do much of anything. I smirked as I ran toward the key, along with my partner Raizel. Again, nothing happened. Hmm. That was a little strange...but, what if this was all part of the other team's plan.?
But please, I'm not paranoid. Only cautious. It was sure to get a little more active and less sleepy as time went on, and so would I probably. I was still a little confused, though. Why were they just standing there? Did they have a plan? I looked over to Raizel. "Yes, I guess you could say so," I said, smiling.
This was only the beginning of the game. Things were to escalate quickly if not eventually, I had a feeling. But, for now, we were in the green, which was good since it gave me enough time to try and think of what to do next. But, I didn't feel like thinking at that moment, honestly. I still did it anyway though...should I be careful and advance by 1 again, make a run for it, or Flipendo? I honestly had no idea.

Since the game was moving very quickly, Ashley really wanted to get started playing right away. The introduction time had already passed. It was a cunning and well-executed strategy to slide in to collect the flying key while keeping an eye on how far the other teams were moving.Spoken Words:X|Thoughts: X
Ashley had his sights set on the prize and was willing to do anything at this time to attain his objectives. From this point forward, things were going to take a different turn. We don't have time to waste making formal introductions, so let's do this, Ying. He had a serious tone. Looking at the reward, a key that was floating around, the other team appeared to have the advantage.
This was not ideal at all because Ashley and Ying were still trapped in the original post. He considered doing anything, but it is unlikely to be successful given the distance and the current situation. In addition, they were only permitted to perform one spell, which was constricting and he wouldn't show off his talent. I'm not sure what his partner was thinking, but they needed to make a break for it or they'd all be left behind with the game. All right, Ying, let's take off now!
