Might be one of their cousins honestly. Either Jackson or Jekyll honestly. Both of those two are very close to Azzy

Grandpa Don sat in his chair, rocking back and forth with a lighted cigarette in hand. He took a puff, before pressing it against the edge of the table and tossing it into the ashtray. Jaime stared up at him from her spot on the floor, waiting to hang on his every word. Earlier that day, she’d had a… moment. She’d just been about to cross the road with her family when she suddenly stopped, putting a hand in front of her sister. Less than a second later, a motorcycle turned the corner and zoomed past the red light. With a jolt, Jaime realized that they would have been hit!

Afterwards, when telling the story to her Grandpa Don, he’d stopped her firmly before she could. Motioning for her to sit, Jaime now squirmed in anticipation. What did he have to tell he?. With a huff, Grandpa Don cleared his throat and began:

“Being a muggle born seer isn’t impossible, believe it or not. It is a deeply hidden part of our family tree, one your mother was unaware of, and we hid.” He glanced back at the yard, where my mother sat, reading her book. “Because the fact is— Not everyone in our family tree was muggles. No, way back, us Rangers had been a strong wizarding family, known for its seers. But along the line, a squib was born. The squib was named Marina Ranger,” At this, he gestured to a portrait on the wall. Jaime had always assumed it was of Grandma, but perhaps not. “And she was cast out from the family. After that, she married a muggle and had three children. They grew up with no magical abilities, and generations and generations passed before magic was returned to the family in the form of a curious young girl— That’s you Jaime.”

Her eyes widened in realization. She knew she was a witch— but a seer too? Is that was Grandpa meant? But no, she’d never done anything like the thing she’d done today, had she? Thinking back, Jaime started to remember instances throughout her life. Hiding her candy before her teacher appeared out of nowhere, stepping back before something fell over, etc.

With a gulp, she stuttered, “But— You don’t mean—“

Grandpa Don’s brow creased, “That’s exactly what I think. You, Jaime, are a seer.”

Her eyes blinked rapidly, trying to process all this new information. Jaime was usually good under pressure, but now? You might as well have told her she was the reincarnation of freaking Moana! With a shaky breath, she tried to steady her thoughts and organize her questions.

“So, um,” she said nervously, eyes unfocused and wide in shock, “Does mom know? Or Dad? Or Grandma’am?” She bit her lip, “Oh, please tell me you haven’t told Grandma’am.”

Grandpa Don chuckled softly, leaning back in his chair. “No, no, do not worry; I have not told your Grandma’am. Aunt Jane already knows, but I will have to tell your parents.” Before Jaime could protest, he continued, “They are your parents, Jaime, and you can’t keep this tidbit from them forever. They’ll notice.”

Jaime scoffed in response, and Grandpa Don raised an eyebrow.

“They will. You might think of them as a bit oblivious, but they know you. And if they can’t figure it out themselves, they will ask me. And I cannot lie to them. Not about this.” He sighed and lit a new cigarette before saying in a convulsive tone, “Now, go clean your room. It’s a mess.”

Jaime wanted to argue, but she found herself heading to her room anyway. She didn’t clean it, however, for it was already spotless. It always was, thanks to her mother. Jaime lay down on her bed and pondered her discovery. What did this mean? How did it work? She had so many questions, but she pocketed them inside her mind. Those could wait; right now, she needed to owl her Aunt Jane Ranger and tell her everything.

Jamie's grandfather (and therefore the rest of the family) would not know she is a seer (due to not having any interaction with the wizarding world and Seers, as he is a muggle). Jamie would only know for sure if she was a Seer if both her parents were as well, due to the Seer talent being a recessive gene and Seer abilities not showing when young. Please change this.

I don’t know how to fix this while keeping her a muggle born. help please!!

don't pretend it's such a mystery

If I may. Ancient magic gene. Maybe Grandpa Don was a wizard and never said and so the magic gene just popped up again with your character

Maybe add that Jaime had a vision and told her grandfather, who told her that he “couldn’t believe it”. He had knowledge of the the magical world but believed it myth

There’s also the problem of her needing a recessive gene on both sides :/
