Wake Up Dork Part II

As she expected, the notes were still coming but like before, she didn't bother with it and kept her eyes in front. If they are gonna annoy her, then she'll annoy them back by ignoring whatever they throw at her and that'll give them away. What she wasn't expecting was the paper airplane coming her way and hitting her right on her ear. But that seems to be what she just needed as she heard a short laughter coming from behind. Bingo. She glanced back, just in time to see someone ducked their heads. From where she is, she couldn't tell who it was or if she even knew him. Then again, if they have met, he would be one of those people whom she'll forget in just a few minutes after meeting.
Now she has an idea on who it was although she doesn't know if he was the same one who spilled that ink on her. Ignoring that one, she won't let him get away with throwing papers at her, that much she knows. Class has ended and she was about to clean up the mess and the crumpled paper when the same boy went past her and he looked like he was suppressing his laughter. That made her grin as the time for payback had finally come. She gathered all her things and started to follow the boy out of the classroom and into the corridors.
She silently followed the boy from behind, her eyes on him with an unimpressed look on it. She was stalking him like a lion waiting to pounce on her prey. Funny how situations like this unleashes the lion within. Guess the hat was right after all that Gryffindor was the place for her. She waited until they were in a more secluded area, not wanting to be caught that easily if she wanted to get back at him. This will be fun, she thought to herself and she is aware of the consequences but those don't scare her at the moment. Right now, all she has in her mind is to show him that he had chosen the wrong person to mess with. If you let people push you around, they'll keep repeating it over and over again. At least putting up a fight would make things interesting and tell them that you're someone who bites back.
"Oy." Raizel called out. "What's your problem?" There wasn't any warmth in those dark brown eyes of hers nor in the tone of her voice. Ah, she hates this side of her, the cold one that doesn't seem to care. But, she has to embrace this one right now. "If you have a problem, why not face me head on?"

I could hear her following me, her breath, her shoes on the floor, feel her eyes boring into me. I wonder what she was going to do, I knew that, realistically, my identity was never going to remain hidden, just never planned for what would happen when I was found out. Deny it? Nah, I literally walked into her on my way out to satisfy my need for trouble.
That’s when she addressed me, I smirked as she continued to push, that’s when I spun around, smirk plastered on my face. “What’s that little lion?” I sneered, my heart racing with adrenaline. I looked at her lap, remembering I spilt the ink, “Have some troubles?” I asked, indicating to the patch. “Or is it that time?” I teased. That was sure to get a rise out of her, if she even knows what I mean. I don’t really understand to be honest.
I managed to get a closer look at her though, she didn’t seem like anyone I recognised! Maybe Odi would know her, is she always this up right? “Merlin, it was only a joke!” I said after a few moments, scoffing. I fidgeted on the spot, moving so getting my wand was easy just in case she gets any ideas. “Lighten up will you?”

Raizel hates confrontations to be honest, she prefers to avoid them, ignore them but right now, she really wasn't in the mood to let things go. She could've just let this past, but she was annoyed and she would rather not let anyone see her as an easy target for picking up on. That smirk on his face, those sassy remarks, oh how fun it would be to wipe them off right now. As she isn't used to confrontations, she could feel her own heart pumping, the adrenaline rushing making her feel so warm. She grinned, a dangerous glint on her eyes.
"A joke you say?" The Gryffindor uttered with a chuckle "To be honest, I should thank you for waking me up during that class, just got my blood pumping. I should probably pay you back. It won't be right if you don't get something in return right?" The girl told him with a smile although it wasn't a friendly smile, a mischievous one at that. She watched him as he fidgeted on where he was standing, eyes on his hands.
Whatever he is reaching for wouldn't be that good for her. She swore she would get back to him before anything else. Consequences, she'll face them head on after this, apologize even but right now, she'd like to make a point to never mess with her. While he was still reaching for whatever he has, the girl already drew her wand, pointing it at him. She promised to never use the spell she is about to cast, but that promise was only for Avery. This guy is not Avery. Who is he anyway? She doesn't recognize him and she doubts he recognizes her either as she likes to keep her profile low at the moment.
Well, whatever. She clicked her tongue as she made a quick gesture with her wand. While her aim might not be the best, her skills in spell casting is something that she has confidence in. "Mucus ad Nauseam!" And there she goes, firing the Curse of Bogies spell towards this boy that she didn't even get his name. Too late to ask and after a confrontation like this, she'd rather not ask for it. All she is thinking right now is getting back at him for annoying her during that class and nothing else. Childish, reckless but then again, she's 12.

She was blabbering on about being grateful for my waking her up, “Yeah, cuz then I would be bored out of me bleeding mind,” I remarked with a scoff, frowning when she mentioned repaying me. I knew she was having me on, she didn’t scream ‘i’m happy’ but more silent seething. I could almost smell it, and that smile wasn’t a good thing!
I reached for my wand just in case, but then she acted, and I was too slow to do anything about it! The spell hit me and I groaned, what had she even said? Oh. It was The curse of the— achoo! I sneezed. Shit. I wiped my nose with my sleeve, mank but it will have to do.
“What the hell!” I shouted angrily, my nose already running. I sniffled, the phlegm weighing heavily on my chest. I did. the grossest thing ever and spat some out in the Gryff’s direction. But I wasn’t done. “Flipendo!” I screamed, my arm moving with great speed to point at the gryffindork, “Mucas ad Nauseam! Take - achooo - that Gryffindork!”
I wiped my nose again, sneezing. “Achoo! A- achoo!” ahh I hope she was suffering too! I was caught in a sneezing fit, my attention not on the bleeder that spelled me. I didnt even know where she landed from the flipendo, the second spell being casted on autopilot and followed with a loud sneeze that made snot visible on my nose.
Ewwwww, this was so bloody gross. My cheeks were flamed red!

Well, that was something. The spell worked and it hit. She couldn't ask for more than this moment right now. She watched as the boy began sneezing uncontrollably due to the spell, wiping his nose every now and then as well as listening to the coughing. Ouch, that spell was certainly devastating. There was a hint of guilt on her face at that time. She wasn't expecting for him to fire a spell back though.
She heard the familiar incantation of the knockback jinx, one of her favorite spells next to the fire-making one. That fiery spell is still number one in her list. Raizel got knocked back, the spell catching her off guard making her fall on floor and just as she was recovering, another spell came rushing in and as soon as it hits, she could feel the sudden sickness hitting her. Oh great, its the same blasted spell she sent to him earlier. Much like the boy earlier, she began to sneeze, letting out a couple of coughs. It was horrible but at least now she knows the horrible effect of the curse of bogies.
Her eyes fell back on the boy, hand gripping tight on her wand. She'll give him a taste of his own medicine. Wand at a ready, pointed once more at the boy. She made another quick gesture. "Flipendo!" She sent her own knockback jinx on him before letting out a sneeze and then another, lying down for a bit to give herself some time to catch her breath, wiping her nose with her robe. She didn't care, it was already ruined from the ink earlier. She raised her head to look at the boy she is facing to see how he is doing, hoping that flipendo knocked him back or something. As much as she would like to cast Incendio, she knows how dangerous that one is and she shouldn't involve bystanders, if there's any. She won't be that surprised. Two first years casting spells at each other, who wouldn't notice it. It'll be a miracle if they get away with this.

I couldn’t really feel satisfied with myself for casting the spell as I felt like utter shit, even feeling light-headed after one particular bad sneezing fit. “This is - achoo - your fault!” I accused but before I could even finish my sentence, she got her wand again. I went knocking to the floor, even backwards a little due to my lack of concentration and weak state. “Uhhh” I groaned, momentarily winded. I took short, slow breaths as I tried to move past the pain.
After finally getting my breath back, I saw she had raised her head to stare at me. I glared at her, itching to do something bad. Clenched my jaw and glared at her, screwing my face up in my contempt. “You’re such a Gryffindork! ACHOO! Ah! Charging head first into—” I started coughing, and I spat phlegm because others I think I would have thrown up! “- battle. What? For your own ego!?” I demanded answers!
I walked over to her, wincing a little, I think I did something to my elbow when I landed. “You - ACHOO - for Merlin’s sake!” I grabbed her by the robes - turning my head away to sneeze, I’m not entirely a monster - and glared at her. Using my anger to manage to stare into her eyes. “Stupid Gryffindorks, all the same. Odi should be proud he isn’t like all you gits,” and then I threw her away, more like pushing back and letting go, swiftly sneezing in her face.
I watched her start to stand up, I can’t have they! “Just stay down, Dork! I for one will not be impressed if I get a detention because you’re too spell-happy!” I felt a fire burning inside me. “INCENDIO!” I bellowed, sending the flames in Rai’s direction. The fire hit her robes but I just watched with a smirk forming— SHIT. What did I do? I really need to tame my temper. Ahh what was the spell? What was the spell? “Extinguo!” I said quickly, my words mumbled so nothing happened. Thankfully, I said it again and aimed at the embers, putting them out.

Did he really just accuse her of this situation that they are in? He was the one who started it back in their classroom. She didn't moved just yet and watched him get knocked off by her spell. "My fault? You're the one who started this back in the classroom!" She shouted before ending up coughing, the effect of the spell taking hold and she couldn't even muster the strength to stand up due to nausea. "Not to mention." She paused to catch her breath and to let out a sneeze. "You were already reaching for your wand. I wouldn't have reacted that way if you didn't." It is true that she drew her wand first and fired the spell but she felt threatened by him reaching for his wand and she'd rather get back at him before he could even beat her up.
When he glared at her, she glared back, gritting her teeth before sneezing once again, wiping her nose as she felt it was dripping. The curse of bogies really sucks. "I'm not just gonna sit there… and let some people think they could just pick on people." She answered his question. "Staying timid all the time… just give them more reason to bully you. I am just standing up for myself, not wanting to get pushed around." She felt herself getting yanked up by her robes and then pushed back and getting sneezed at. Yuck, that was gross. "What about you? Do you think that picking on and annoying others that you don't even know is fun when they are minding their own business?" She asked him in between sniffs and sneezes as she stood up after getting pushed.
"I can bet you're even the one responsible for that ink pouring on my robe. You owe me a bottle! And not like I'm happy in getting detention either!" She retaliated before another spell was coming at her when she stood up and that's the fire-making spell. She tried to cover herself with it, lifting up her arm but that just made her robe catch on fire. She could feel the heat from it, making her flinch and click her tongue. She won't be surprised if that had left a burn on her arm but then it stopped. The boy just put it out himself, leaving her confused as she stood there before sneezing and wiping her nose again. This curse of bogies is getting more annoying than the boy she's facing off and with him extinguishing the fire just made it hard for her to retaliate back. Why'd he even do that?

@Raizel VoltrouzI laughed, “It’s called a joke, Dorkasaurous!” I jeered, rolling my eyes, a cough ripping through my body. I then frowned, “I wasn’t GETTING my wand. I was just being cautious in case you spelt me! WHICH YOU DID! So this was all self defense!” I snapped, a multitude of sneezes in there.
How dare she! Blaming this all on me! I was throwing notes at her, not setting her alight! But I may just do that if she carries on annoying me! The moon was 2 days ago, and I am really not in the mood; I already ache all over!
We appeared to sneeze at the same time, she wasn’t done berating me though. I even grinned in amusement during her bullying comments. She really doesn’t know how to take a joke? “It was a joke you stuck up dungbeetle! Salazar! And look where standing up for yourself got you! I would say I’m winni— ACHOO, winning right about now? I’ve pissed you off, got in- spelled you,” she doesn’t know I inked her yet. It’s all going my way.
I lifted her by her robes, I told her that her house was all the same. I nodded in agreement, “Yes. It is fun. Because watching people react to my behaviour is comedy gold,” I said truthfully, sneezing in her face. “Aw i’m sorry,” I lied, a snigger leaving my lips. “Did that go in your — ACHOO — face?” I pushed her back, sneezing again.
I couldn’t help the proud look as she mentioned the ink bottle. “Yeah that was me! And I ain’t wasting my money on buying you a new ink bottle! No way in hell!” I said adamantly, crossing my arms. I sniffled.
“And not like I'm happy in getting detention—”
“INCENDIO!” would she SHUT UP. “WOULD YOU SHUT IT! All your incessant talking is so annoying,” I took a few breaths, later getting rid of the fire.
This isn’t what I expected my Friday to be like, battling an ogre. An Ogre with no sense of humour, an Ogre that spelled me for no reason, that demanded I pay for a new ink bottle. The more I went through the events the more I glared. I pointed my wand at her, “You’re a prick. You know that right?” I told her, calmly but deadly. My hand was steady, eyes like stone, mouth set in a firm line.
Just wait.
Wait so she is unprepared…
“Flipendo-!” I shouted, the spell leaving my wand…

"You keep talking and talking about people the same when you are just like any other who… what? See others as your amusement?" She scoffed. "And your jokes? Maybe next time set a boundary and don't do it to people you don't know and do it to your friends. At least then they'll get a good laugh instead of someone else just because you're bored and keep throwing notes at them you dumbass." The name calling wasn't something that affected her that much although she did felt a bit guilty when he mentioned he wasn't getting his wand since she did fire a spell. Then again, she won't deny. He could call her names all he wants, it's just gonna go in the ear and out in the other. It's people like him who make things horrible for others in school. "Or don't tell me you don't have any friends? Wouldn't be surprised." He sneezed at her once again but she just stood there, unfazed by it before being pushed back. "And yes, I did draw my wand first and I ain't denying that. I'll take responsibility for it. Not like I wasn't aware of possible consequences. So go on and be happy with your 'self-defense'."
What a jerk, was all she could think. This is the same boy who keeps telling her that Gryffindors are all the same. She will stand by her word that he is just the same as any other horrible person who takes amusement from making fun of others. "At least I stood up for myself. Do you really think I wasn't prepared for things to go sour?" She told him with a glare. "Not used to people standing up to your 'jokes' that aren't funny for them? It might be for you cause you're not at the end of this. Let's see how you'll like it if you're a victim and all of that coming from a stranger." She wobbled on her feet as she felt the nausea once again. How long does this spell last?
"You keep yelling for me to shut up. Why do you think that I would when I'm just putting all those out? Not liking what you hear?" Raizel continued but she didn't retaliate when he lit her on fire again, trying to shield herself with the same arm she used earlier. That's not good but rather that than her good arm. Using Incendio inside, she'd rather not do that. She did return a glare at him when he did. "I could say the same to you." The boy pointed his wand, the girl stood ready to take him on and whatever spell he had to throw at her, holding her own wand in a tight grip. "Go on. Shoot!" She taunted and as soon as he fired, she shot out her own knockback jinx at him. "Flipendo!" Just as it went straight for the boy, his spell hit her and knocked her back into a wall. Ouch, that one really hurts on top of the burning sensation on her arm.

Wake Up Dork Part II

Isabel was humming to herself as she made her way to herbology class. It wasn't necessarily her favourite, but she did like professor McLoughlin very much. She was kind, patient and named her plants, which quite frankly, is adorable. Rounding the first floor corner leading to the stairs that would take her down to the ground floor, she heard raised voices. Standing still she perked her ears to hear what was going on, catching the faintest bit of the yelling. ".... to shut up. Why do you think that I would when I'm just putting all those out? Not liking what you hear?" A young female's voice was saying in an agitated manner, and in between– ...sneezes? Hugging her books closer to her body she moved closer to the source of the commotion. Getting closer to the second corner in the corridor she heard another set of sneezes, different in tone this time. They sounded more boyish. "You’re a prick. You know that right?" The curly headed gryffindor heard a second voice say, and when she registered whose it was, her blood stilled in her veins.
Unbelievable! The same boy, that completely cussed her out in class, simply because she was trying to pay attention, is now in a fight with someone else. 'I should just stay out of this', she thought to herself. She didn't feel any particular need to go and be in the middle of this. At the same time, it seemed she had to pass whatever was going on to get to her next class. Arriving late is not something she does, though at the moment she still has plenty of time to spare. Isabel glanced around the corner, her brown eyes shifting about to get a grip on the situation, just as the same Slytherin that was nagging her before shoots out a knockback jinx. Gasping in surprise Isabel followed the line of fire to another Gryffindor, a girl she'd seen before, and watched as the girl shot out a jinx of her own. The Slytherin's spell hit her and she was forcefully shoved into the wall behind her.
No longer able to not intervene, Isabel shot out of the corner she was looking around, eyes ablaze. What the actual hell is wrong with that boy? Fighting in the hallways was punishable by detention and also just stupid. Go figure he's the one doing it. She dashed towards the Gryffindor girl, who seemed pretty hurt. "What is wrong with you?!" she yelled out to the boy exasperatedly, disbelief and bitter rage glimmering in her eyes. She approached the brown haired girl and bent over compassionately. "Are you alright?" Isabel asked in a soft voice, as she tucked her curls behind her ear to keep them from falling into her eyes. She gave the girl a one over before looking in Lucian's direction angrily, her freckled cheeks burning up in indignation.
