Camping Season
"So, everyone has arrived? We shall begin to do our pre-assigned tasks and start the camping night?" Rita looked around and felt lucky that she knew everyone who arrived to help start the camping night. There was Rita`s best friend @Lily Blaze, her friends @Daphne Sapphirus and @Irina Sousa, the close duo (@Bailey Glade and @Kim Sato) she saw almost everywhere on campus, the young badger (@Edward Edwards) she had an imagined adventure within the common room, the elder prefect (@Cassandra Ironwoods) she had a fist bump and high fire with in the bottle spinning event at the beginning of this new school year and was now the president of club, as well as the founder of the social service club @Karrie Myers.
Cash warned them harshly not to even attempt to enter the forbidden forest, which as a prefect, was what they supposed to do, and the rule also made sense to Rita, since there must be a lot of hidden dangerous creatures in the forbidden forest, and it was better that Rita did not even come close to forbidden forest if she wanted to keep safe.
"I think everyone who signed up for the social service club has arrived. So glad that I know all of you. So, how are all of you feeling today? Are you ready to start the camp and do you pre-assigned tasks?" Rita waved to the group, then turned to Cash specifically, "Don`t worry, Cash. I won`t even come close to forbidden forest to keep myself safe from the hidden dangerous creatures inside the forest. And I think Karrie will make sure everyone just stays here for camping and don`t go away to the forbidden forest." Then, Rita remembered the thing happened in Lily`s birthday party yesterday and thought she was being a little manipulative again, so she also turned to Karrie and apologized to her, "Sorry, Karrie, I`m being a little manipulative again. Hope you don`t mind."

The club messenger, Daphne, who bailey had met at her Martial Artists Club meeting, walked up to bailey and Kim, she asked for their names. Glancing at Kim, Bailey smiled at Daphne and said “My name is Bailey. Bailey Glade- I believe we met at the most recent meeting of the Martial Artists club?”
Next two sneks, Lily and Cassandra showed up. Lily lit the fire and Cassandra, being the prefect she was, sternly told them to not go into the Forrest. Bailey smiled, and thought why would I ever go I go into the Forrest? Bailey shuddered, but cast the thought of the Forrest out of her mind as more members approached.
Edward was the next person to show up, and just seeing his face and hearing the boys American accent made her smile.
“Hey Ed!” she greeted him, grinning wider when he said that he was assigned to be her assistant.
“I dunno what I’m supposed to do, I was waiting for more instruction from Karrie. What do you think we should do?” Bailey said, standing up from where she had been sitting at Kim’s side.
Bailey had been greeted by Karie, and Bailey grinned.
Karie told Bailey that she could help Irina, and set up the tent. Bailey smiled and said “Of course!” Before she headed to help Irina.
Walking up to Irina, Bailey smiled and said “Hey Irina! How are you? It’s really nice to see you again! How can I help you?”

The redhead glanced down at the girl as she sat next to him on the ground, she looked pretty today. Tan was definitely her color and Kim wondered why she didn't wear it more often. Bailey was being her usual cheerful self, a ray of sunshine as so many people tended to refer to her as. Even him. Why did he suddenly feel like tearing up? He shook his head, trying to lock his feelings away like always. This was no time for crying and that would 100% make people wonder what was going on. Kim needed to focus. A blond girl came over with a clipboard and spoke to them. She was probably the one who was in charge of attendance. "Kim Aoki. You are?" The redhead said, introducing himself and asking for her own name in return. He couldn't place her name, although usually he would have had no trouble remembering it but lately... well, Kim had not been in the best state of mind since the ball. A few seconds later, Lily appeared and lit up the area in front of him with a perfect Incendio. Kim nodded to her. "Thanks." That was when someone clapped their hands together and raised their voice to attract everyone's attention to themselves. Kim recognized the person. It was Cassandra, better known as Cash by many others. He nodded to show he understood their words. After all, it wasn't as if he intended on going into the area, and no one else in the club seemed likely to break the rules. But of course, there were always errant ones who tried to go there just because they weren't allowed to. Hopefully, no one in their group fell into that particular category. Edward arrived and greeted everyone and Kim inclined his head towards him. Puffie was looking around at everyone gathered together and his beady little eyes were flickering back and forth. As Karrie looked at him, he squeaked a greeting and hopped up and down a little bit. Apparently, it loved all the attention it was getting and Kim glanced up at his shoulder. "Don't fall off up there, Puffie." He told the puffball and glanced over at Rita as the girl spoke, asking them all if they were fine with their allocated tasks. Once again, Kim nodded, showing he was fine with making the BBQ skewers and enlisting the help of Lily too. He leaned down to pick up the container by his feet and opened it to reveal the contents. There were various small chunks of meat that were drenched in barbecue sauce. It looked delicious, even at this point in time. But it wasn't cooked yet. Little slices of vegetables could also be seen, sitting on top of the sauced meat, ready to be skewered. Kim reached into the outer section of his satchel and took out some skewers, placing them beside the campfire Lily had started earlier. Puffie hopped off his shoulder and hopped over to the edge of the camp area to view everyone's positions. Kim beckoned for Lily to come over to him. "Want to set some skewers up? Only do enough that will fit onto the grill at one time. Once they're done we can put more on." He said, showing Lily the container that had the pieces of meat and vegetables and where the skewers were. It was a relatively simple process. All she had to do was pick up some meat pieces and vegetables, put them onto a skewer, and set the skewers onto the grill over the fire. It seems Cash was the last one that arrived at the scene. Once they gave out their name for Daphne to take for attendance, they sauntered back to Karrie. The leader of the group ordered Cash to check the others and make sure they are not astray from their task. Cash nodded their head and was about to walk up to where Aoki and Blaze setting up the cooking station when Karrie's voice spoke up again.
This time the first year Gryffindor rephrased her word. Their green eyes scanned the girl. Trying to analyze her. A brief pause lingered between Cash and Karrie. Finally, something dawned on them. When others saw a prefect or had one in their midst, there were bound to be mixed feelings in it. There are two ways to approach the situation.
One, where Cash just ignored and acted cold about it. Two, reassured the other girl that it is fine. Cash chose the latter. "Do not worry about it, yeah? I know having a Prefect in your midst makes you a bit, I don't know, uncomfortable or something but I will make my rounds and check on them"Cash stated.
"If I see something odd, will report it back to you immediately,"The fourth year then gave out a small smile and walked up to the group that will set up for tonight's feast. Once they arrived at the group, they saw there were Kim, Bailey, and Lily with a fire that was already set up and ready to be used.
"Everything good here, guys?"They asked. "Do you need anything else?"Cash added. Their eyes flickered on the meat and vegetable skewers that were being set up. "Stay safe and do not play around the fire. I do not need to bring one of you lot to the Hospital Wing because you burned yourselves"Once that was said, Cash walked up to the other group.
They inspected it thoroughly and make sure everything was up to safety standards and away from any hazards. Once Cash was done with their rounds, they had nothing to do, and they were a bit kind of bored. Cash then walked up to the girl who holds a picture of beautiful lights and lanterns that could be hung and wrapped around the tree.
"I do not believe we met yet,"Cash said as their introduction. "But I see you once a while in the hall and in our Common Room,"The Quidditch player said to Irina. "The name is Cash and you are?"Cash prompted Irina to tell them her name. Once Irina introduced her name, Cash shuffled a bit closer to take a better look at the picture.
"I must say, that is one pretty picture,"The Cuban descendant gave out a compliment. They then looked around to see if there was a decent tree that was high enough for all the lanterns and lights to be hung around to decorate the tree. Luckily, there was one not too far above the tree. "How about we go to that tree,"Cash pointed to the nearby tree.
"I climbed it and you tossed it up to me. Suena bien? Sounds good?"Cash offered their help. Cash then walked up to the tree and started to climb the tree branch and makes sure the branches is sturdy enough to take all of their weight. It was not Cash's first time climbing a tree. They had done it once they were a child.
And on that day they fell from a decent amount of height and broke their arms. Their father was furious and said it was not how a Pureblood child should behave but their mother just smile at Cash's antics. With a quick spell and a wave of Cash's mother's wand, their broken arm was healed and only left a little bruised here and there.
Cash was already on the tree. Wrapped one hand around a thick yet strong branch and looked down. "I know we have magic but we can not always rely on it, don't you agree?"They asked Irina. "Now, how about you tossed the lights and lanterns so I can set it up? You can spot me from down there"Stated the young Ironwoods with their thick English-Spanish accent while waiting for Irina to give further instructions on how she visualized the hanging lanterns and lights supposed to go around the tree.

The girl's dirty-blonde hair hung in a neat ponytail, she looked as if she mean't business as she looked at her clipboard. She looked very professional as she walked over to Aoki and Bailey. Edward got his legs moving, walking over to the trio of students. His job was to be Bailey's assistant and hand out foods anyways.
"Hi Bai! Hi Kim! Hi Daphini!" He grinned at the trio.
“Hey Ed!” Bailey grinned back.
He then turned to look at Bailey, "I'm assigned as your assistant, what should we do first?"
“I dunno what I’m supposed to do, I was waiting for more instruction from Karrie. What do you think we should do?” The light-haired girl responded.
Two other girls arrived late, he didn't know one, and he recognized the other as his Employer of the magazine, @Lily Blaze. Lily started a fire at the campsite, she said something to the club leader. Edward waved at her grinning revealing the small gap between his two large front teeth, strange yet charming. He hoped she saw him. Suddenly the other girl turned on her heels clapping her hands to gather everyone's attention.
"Listen up, you lot!" She said seriously. "Personally, I do not give a damn if you have bad blood with each other and wanted to sling a spell or two but if I either catch you doing it or even try to sneak into the Forbidden Forest, you will suffer the consequences!"
Forbidden forest? Interesting.... Edward couldn't help but feel curious, but he would leave it for another day as he got to work.
@Lily Blaze took a seat next to where Edward was standing, the brunette smiled,
"Hi!" Lily said nodding to him.
"Hi Lili," Edward nodded back smiling sweetly waving very slightly. Lily was a very sweet, intelligent, and kind girl. He wondered how popular she was, it wouldn't be a surprise if she was. But yet again, Edward did not care in the slightest about the Hogwarts's popularity hierarchy.
@Karrie Myers instructed Bailey was to do, and Edward tried to help the third year the best he could. The first they did under Bailey's instructions was to set up the tent, Edward got to work when he heard Bailey greeting another student. Edward just chortled quietly to himself as he got the stakes into the ground, Bailey was definitely a sweet, friendly, person, he had actually interviewed her before! He used the small mallet to make sure the tent's ropes were secured to the ground. He took a quick peek around to see how everyone was getting along. He loved camping, as like a lot of things, him and his mother would camp on what they called the perfect night, when it was nice and breezy, the stars and lighting bugs were out, and the crickets chirped sweetly to the moon. They would keep a flashlight inside of the tent with themselves in their pajamas, they would tell each other crazy impossible stories of lost boys, animals that talk and wear clothing, betrayal of comrades, and true love. Though most would say that was impossible, Edward believed all of them with all his heart, if even not literally, but the meaning that it brought, the hope. CLANK! Edward finished securing the last rope on the tent. The tent was looking great so far! Edward grinned but decided to ask @Bailey Glade for a second opinion, she was setting up the tent as well.
"How does the ropes look Bai?" He asked.
Some people just need a high-five... In the face ... With a chair...

There was no reason to be nervous, if Edward had wanted to tell her secret, he would've done so already. "Hey, Bootsy!" She responded, deciding to just continue calling him by his nickname. Although she was wearing boots now-don't blame her, boots were comfortable and in style! And she was easily influenced by fashion choices. Daphne turned back to the two in front of her, smiling as Bailey was the first to respond. "Oh yes! I remember!" She glanced at Kim who didn't look as happy as Bailey, or perhaps she was just seeing things? He also saw him at the Martial Arts club but didn't mention it for now, they had plenty of time to talk after their tasks were done. "I'm Daphne Sapphirus! Thank you two, my list is nearly complete.." In order to make her job easier for her, she began to count the people here. Without including hers, there were 8 names, and 8 heads here. She checked off the remaining names, unless someone had snuck in, it looked like every member was here. Daphne then went back to Karrie, showing her the clipboard. "Everyone's accounted for! I'm ready to help you with whatever you need!" She grinned.

Their eyes flickered over the budding campfire and told them to be safe around it, probably a bit concerned. After all, Kim was with a first year. He wasn't sure how well versed she was with fire and flames in general. The redhead nodded to Cash and returned his attention back to the fire, as Puffie continued to try and get attention from anyone who laid eyes on him. Time passed and eventually the bbq chicken skewers were cooked and ready to be eaten. As everyone started to eat and enjoy themselves, Kim leaned back against the trunk of a nearby tree and closed his eyes. It was nice to be outside. Sophia had liked being outside like this. Kim's eyes darkened briefly and he opened his eyes again. Glancing around, he realized that the sky above had gotten dark pretty quickly, had time passed by that fast? It seemed as if it had only been a few minutes ago. But in fact quite some time had gone by and it was time to leave soon. Kim needed to do some homework before the following day, not that it was due then but he liked to keep ahead of the curve. He was currently doing next week's homework and didn't want to get too 'behind'. The boy tilted his head a little bit. A few cracks came from his neck. That definitely felt a lot better and Kim tilted his head to the other side, releasing more cracking sounds. Maybe even a slight pop could be heard and then he got to his feet, looking around for where Puffie could have gone off to. He didn't see the pink puffball anywhere nearby and a sigh escaped his lips. Where had the little creature gone off to? Was he sitting on someone's shoulder, in their lap or in their hands? Eventually, he found Puffie and the puff hopped onto his shoulder with gusto. Kim reached into his pocket to remove his wand and pointed it at the two empty containers he'd brought. "Scourgify!" The teen exclaimed, incanting. He watched as the containers were magically cleaned and then picked them up to put them back into his satchel. Glancing around, he got the club leader's attention and then inclined his head to her. "It was a great first meeting, Karrie. Zàijiàn!" Kim said, using the Mandarin word for goodbye, and raised a hand into the air. He also bid goodbye to everyone else with a head nod, Bailey and Cash in particular. With that, Kim turned around and headed off back towards the castle, with Puffie perched on top of his shoulder... Time for some homework again, maybe even for some more homework too. |

Kim instinctively tensed when Bailey hugged him, but he relaxed after a moment - he must have realized it was Bailey once again.
Cass and Rina were putting up ropes in the tree, and Bailey had gotten up to help Ed - or rather, have him help her put up the tent's ropes and to secure them.
Kim was working with the food, and Lily had lit the fire. All was going smoothly, and Bailey was having fun.
Eventually the meeting was ending, and Bailey, with Puffie on her shoulder, was helping to take down the tent and ropes and such. Kim was preparing to leave it looked like, so bailey sent Puffie scurrying back to his proper owner. Bailey and Puffie were close, and if Puffie had been left with Bailey she just would have returned the little puffball the first chance she had - bailey would be able to keep puffie by herself as long as she could but she knew Kim and Puffie were close and she wouldn't take the little guy from her best friend.
Bailey finished picking up and started heading back to her dorm. During the meeting bailey had had an idea for a story, and she wanted to write it down before she forgot.

Camping Season
Daphne would help Karrie with the rest of the tasks needed at the camp, helping out as much as she could in the chilly weather. She made sure to get a chance to memorize everyone's faces so that she'd know for next time, or even if she met them around Hogwarts later. It was getting pretty dark considering it was fall which meant it got dark early unlike the spring and summer. Daphne couldn't wait to celebrate the Winter Solstice, sure Christmas was great as well but celebrating nature was just as great too. Daphne believed that everyone should get the chance to celebrate such an event, the longest night of the year filled with songs, lantern lighting, cider and more! Perhaps she'd get a chance to talk about this the next meeting or even at any of the other clubs she went too.
When she saw Kim and Bailey start to leave, Daphne immediately remembered that it was dinnertime. She still had plenty of time to eat at the Great Hall but she needed to head back to her dorm to feed Alduin before he got cranky as usual. Standing up, she took two of the chicken skewers for Alduin and adjusted her coat before waving at everyone. "This was fun! I hope to see everyone at the next meeting and around the halls too! I couldn't ask for a better group!" She smiled before leaving the campgrounds.

It was at least supposed to be a exciting first meeting of the Social Service Club, but it just ended too soon. It ended when Rita had not finished helping Bailey with her tasks, as the close duo the black-haired Second Year Hufflepuff had seen almost everywhere, Bailey and Kim, as well as her friend and an expert on animals and magical creatures, Daphne, all began to leave the campground to cope with their individual stuff. Bailey, as the mum of the group, also helped with tidying off the tents and the ropes before the third year Ravenclaw girl went away, even though they honestly did not use the tent that much. "Such a nice and helpful girl Bailey is, like she always do. I really cannot express my deep graditude to her, as well as to Kim, for their heart and dedication for coping with all of the activities at those club and other stuff around the school for us to enjoy our wonderful life at this school named Hogwarts." The black-haired Second Year Hufflepuff thought as she watched Bailey left the campgrounds to do with other things she needed to deal with.
But it really was the time to go. The black-haired Second Year Hufflepuff first-string beater knew from her empty stomach that it was time for dinner, and Rita also got to feed her cat Peanut and finish her homework in the common room that she needed to hand in later this week. The black-haired Hufflepuff beater knew she really needed to go instead of simply wasting her time in the campground by herself when the other members of the Social Service club just went away. Anyway, with her waving slightly with a short sentence said with a bright smile on her face, "Anyway, I gotta go now since you have all gone. Goodbye, friends!", Rita took her step to leave the campgrounds and headed back to the Hufflepuff common room, feeling somewhat satisfied for the meeting.
