Cicely can come across as timid or shy towards strangers, but she is simply withdraw, afraid of letting her true personality show for fear that it will be ill-received. Until she has a chance of warming up to someone, she remains distant but polite.
Cicely is fairly decent at masking her emotions, which leads others to believe that she is calm and collected but in reality, she is just able to hide how she is truly feeling.
