Tears of Shamefulness PV Aurora Griffith & Valarie Song F

So, in reality, the Unity meeting that had been going on today had been very dramatic. I think that it had gotten everyone worked up, especially that fight between Rita and AF. Some harsh words were tossed back and forth, and it had just been chaotic. At least it was over. But naturally, I needed to give myself some time to cool off. The library wasn't my top choice, though. I had gone outside for a bit, took a few calming breaths, and come back inside. Now I was heading to the girl's lavatory. I was trying my best to remain calm and keep my composure, because, well, this was a lot to process. But as I entered the lavatory, however, I was met with quite a surprise. Two, actually: One, that it was already occupied, and two, somebody was apparently using it as an outlet for their emotions, I could hear crying. Actually, make that her emotions, since it was definitely a girl. The voice sounded wholly familiar... "Hey, Rita! Are you okay? What's wrong? Do you need help or someone to talk to?" I asked, very concerned, pressing my ear to the stall door that Rita's crying was coming from. Was Rita okay? She was a very happy person usually, so something was definitely wrong.

Valarie was walking down the corridor when the sound of crying distracted her from walking back to the Ravenclaw common room. The sound was coming from the girl’s lavatory. Valarie stopped and listened for a second before moving closer to the door to the room. Quietly, she slipped into the room. “Hello? Is anyone in here?” she called. She walked more into the room and spotted two girls. They were both Hufflepuffs at least that’s what their clothes stated. One of the girls Valarie didn’t know but she guessed she had to be a second year at least. The other girl Valarie recognized. It was Aurora Griffith, a first year Hufflepuff that also happened to be Valarie’s cousin.
“Aurora? What’s going on? Is everything okay?” she asked her cousin. She turned and directed her attention to the other girl. She was crying. It wasn’t just a few basic tears, she was full on sobbing.
Valarie’s eyes grew wide at the sight and attempted to summon the Hufflepuff side of her, her mothers side of her, to comfort the girl.
“Oh my goodness! Are- are you alright? Did something happen?” She asked the older girl. Valarie stared at the Hufflepuffs, trying to figure out what happened.

"Oh no, someone must be coming, let me just take some to clean up this mess, at least try to. But they probably would still know I must be crying for some time. Anyway, let me wipe away this the tear and then talk to them." Rita thought when she heard the footsteps of someone coming into the girl`s lavatory and voices that were asking what was asking what was happening. "They must have noticed me crying anyway. But let me just try to settle down this mess first and not make myself look so embarrassing." The distressed Second Year Hufflepuff beater with short straight black hair and a pair of yellow glasses continued to think before taking off a handkerchief from her pocket to try to wipe away her tears.

After trying her very best to clean up the mess, the black-haired first-string beater finally turned around to see who was coming for her. Two girl, in which one of them was Roro, and a girl wearing Ravenclaw robes Rita was not that familiar with. "Alright, thanks for caring for me. I actually just want to spend some time alone, but I really appreciate you two for coming here to support me. Basically, during the group discussion of the unity errand just now, I said something really inconsiderate to the other members to the group due to my quick temper, and one of the other members, also Second-Year badger girl, was extremely mad at me and uses some incredibly strong language and I feel really guilty and hurt by my mistakes and that girl`s words. I know it must be my fault to make her mad and causes all the chaos, and I could not bear the chaos at the end, so I am rushing here to just cry all of the feelings out, since it is better to cry out than try to hide all of my feelings." The black-haired Second Year Hufflepuff beater finally replied, trying her best to stay calm after crying for such a long time.

"Personally, I don`t really hate that girl, I don`t think she is bad or something like that, she was just mad and said something too strong for me to bear. I certainly made a mistake, a huge mistake, with my highly inconsiderate words. And she has a reason to be mad. I actually want to settle a few things down and try to reconnect with that girl, but I really don`t know what to do, you know? Anyway, the whole unity meeting is just a mixture of chaos, and it is just too much for me, that`s why I was devastated and just wanted to find somewhat to cry alone." After Rita finally finished her speech, the second year Hufflepuff gave the other two girls a somewhat hopeless look, and hoped the girls could understand her desperate situation and possibly offer some help.

Then Rita realized that she should probably introduce herself to the Ravenclaw girl she had barely seen before, "By the way, my name is Rita, Second Year Hufflepuff and first-string beater in Huffle Quid team, in case you don`t know. And your name is...? I am sorry this is definitely not the best way to present myself to someone new, but thank you for coming anyway." The black haired Hufflepuff turned to the Ravenclaw girl she was not very familiar with and introduced herself anyway.

I was still trying to comfort Rita when somebody else entered. I turned around to see Valarie there. I've known her since two days ago; she was my 2nd cousin on my mom's side, but I just refer to her as my cousin. "Oh, hi Valarie. It seems that Rita needs comfort, but I don't know what happened." I told her. Then Rita started to spill her problem. I understood what was happening. It was a whole fiasco situation with the Unity meeting in the Rehearsal Room earlier today. I was sure the whole thing would blow over in a matter of minutes afterward, but apparently not. At least, not right now. Rita's reaction to the whole fight between her and AF was very surprising, but this was more like the Rita I knew. "Don't worry Rita, it's okay. You're okay. We all make mistakes sometimes, and we all say things we regret sometimes. But that's no excuse to cry over spilled milk, sometimes we just have to keep calm and carry on. The good thing is that nobody got hurt, luckily, and just know that everything will be fine. The next time you see AF, you can apologize to her, and I'm sure she'll accept it." Even though I didn't know AF that well, from what I've seen, she was most likely inclined to forgive Rita. Besides, was there anyone who wouldn't be able to forgive her? At Rita's question about Valarie, I said, "Oh, um, this is Valarie. She's my cousin, if that helps you remember," I said, turning to Valarie.

Well, Rita was glad that crying my feelings all out and the comfort by the other two girls did make her feel a lot better. The Second Year Hufflepuff beater with short straight black hair and yellow glasses had to admit she had issues controling her temper and emotions, from being driven by her anger and saying soime highly inconsiderate words she was extremely guilty of, to just simply crying out in the lavatory and being in a huge mess. "Anyway, one thing I learned from all those chaos from the meeting and the aftermath of it is always try not to let my emotions get the better of me. I know I am bad at doing that, but I should at least try to do that. If I learn from that, I shall avoid many mistakes in the future. After all, it is OK to make mistakes, the key is to learn from those mistakes and never make the same mistakes again." The black-haired first-string beater thought, feeling a lot calmer than previously.

"Thank you for your comfort words, Roro and Valarie. I feel a lot better now. Sorry I did not present myself in the best way just now." Rita replied to the other two girls calmly, "You are absolutely right. I should reply to that girl very soon. It`s not the end of the world after all, and I think she will probably forgive me if I apologized to her genuinely. Anyway, do you wanna stay here for any longer? It`s getting a little late, and it`s nearly time fore dinner. I think I gotta go now if you no longer have any words. I don`t think there is something interesting to do in the dull girl`s lavatory anyway, especially after crying out so much and making such a big mess. By the way, as a thank you gift for coming here to comfort me, could I ask you to go to the Spring ball with me in April? I`m leaning more to you Roro, cos we know each other better, sorry Valarie, we can still meet up on the ball!"

I was watching Rita and Val as we all took turns trying to console Rita. It seemed that the Unity Meeting and all that drama that went on had really gotten to her. I was there; I had witnessed it all. I smiled at Rita, hoping that she wouldn't take it with her. She wouldn't though, I didn't really see Rita as that type of person, honestly.

I saw Rita who would do something like this, cry her heart out over something like that. And that wasn't necessarily bad at all; she just had to learn to not lean on it or the memory of it for too long. However, Rita seemed to be feeling a lot better. I was glad; it seemed that both my words and Val's had really helped her.

"It's alright Rita, you don't have to apologize!" I said, smiling. "We understand that you feel bad about it and want to make things right with AngelFyre; mistakes were made, and we can all forgive and forget. And, like I said, I'm sure that AF will do the same." I added, wanting to hug Rita, but not feeling so sure about it.

"Well, it's good to hear that you're feeling better anyway. And you're right, won't you look at the time, we should get back. And by the way, I'd love to go to the Spring Ball with you Rita!" I went to the door, I was going to the Great Hall so that I'd be early for dinner. "Anyway's I'm starving. I'll see you around Val, see you guys at dinner!" I said, smiling and opening the door.

Rita watched as the two other girl took turned to say some comfort words to the already feeling a little better Second Year Hufflepuff beater with short straight black-hair and yellow glasses and then all waved goodbye and left the quite dull girl`s lavatory to go to the great hall to have dinner. Yeah, it really was time for dinner, as the black-haired Second Year Hufflepuff first-string beater was also getting a bit hungry after letting out such a bit cry in the girl`s lavatory after making such a big mess in the already too chaotic unity errand meeting.

"Well, I really am feeling a little better, thanks for coming here to comfort me after that way too chaotic unity errand meeting, Roro and Val! Catch ya later maybe at the ball or in other occcasions prior to that! It`s really getting late and I am starving, so let me go to the great hall and have some dinner as well! We can even meet up at the great hall if we are lucky!" Rita then waved goodbye to the other two girls as they took the step to leave the lavatory and also took the steps to leave the quite boring girl`s lavatory as well and headed to the great hall to have some dinner and fill up her empty stomach. The Second Year Hufflepuff beater felt lucky that the two other girls were so kind to come to tge girl`s lavatory to comfort her, and felt like without their comfort, things could become a lot worse, and Rita was glad that she really was feeling a lot better after letting out such a big cry and making such a bit mess in the girl`s lavatory thanks to Roro and Val kindly came to comfort her with their nice words. Anyway, that unity errand meeting really was a lesson learned for the Second Year Hufflepuff first-string beater with short straight black hair and yellow glasses about learning to control her temper and not letting her negative feelings get the better of her.
