Saying goodbye to Rita, I looked around looking for any boys that I could have gotten partnered with. But they were all too old. It was time for me to find my new partner. At this point, I had sorta given up trying to find a partner to actually date. But I decided to go one more time. And for the next time, I would watch and see if more boys showed up and signed up. If yes, then I would sign up again. If not then I wouldn’t even bother.

The new partners got announced, and I was paired with a girl named Erin. We were given a prompt, that I decided to use. The prompts helped me, but I would have been fine without them. “Hi Erin! I’m Charlie! Is a pizza an open-faced sandwich? Why or why not?”
I read. That was an interesting question. “I think…” I said slowly. “That no. It’s not. Pizza is its own thing. Not a sandwich at all. Was pizza invented before sandwiches?” I wondered out loud. I actually had no idea. “Anyway, what do you think?” I asked Erin.

Fidgeting with my sweater, I pulled out a thread and pulled it down. I hated sweaters. They were soooo itchy.

When bailey heard her name, and Kim’s name as well, she had to smile. Of course she thought and now everyone will believe the rumors about us dating/ being shipped now rolling her eyes at the thought, she smiled again and went up to Kim. Bailey had wondered why people shipped her and Kim, and then she took a mental step back and looked at how she and Kim interacted- then it was quite clear why.
Once they were at their table she smiled as puffin hopped over to her. She scratched the little puff balls head, and would continue this as long as she and Kim were together.
Bailey got their question, and read it out loud.
Bailey listened to Kim’s suggestions, which actually were good. “you can have more than one best friend- and it could just be a day to celebrate all of the friendships you have with different people as well. Doesn’t have to be just best friends-“
Kim added that jt could just be a friends day, and Bailey smiled. That’s what she was just about to add. great minds think alike she thought smiling a little wider.
A nations cooking or baking day… that acutely was a great idea, and Bailey couldn’t believe she hadn’t thought of it.
“I love that idea!! We should totally make that a thing!!”

As Bailey made her way over to Hades, her new speed dating partner, she noticed that her dorm mate, @Charlie Jacobsen- her hair look really good. And in general, the girl was really pretty. Shaking her head, bailey tried to make herself think straight. What had gotten into her?
Arriving at where Hades was, Bailey smiled and said “Hello! My name is Bailey - Bailey Glade. I am not sure we’ve met or had a formal introduction yet.”
Bailey followed this up with a smile and with sticking her hand out to shake, if Hades chose to do so.

When they had their question, Bailey read it off. ”Describe your perfect Sundae. Ohhh… a good question.”
After a moment of consideration Bailey said “my perfect sundae would probably be a scoop of chocolate and of vanilla bean, with fresh strawberries and bananas, and then a cherry. Ohh and sprinkles, rainbow ones, and either chocolate or marshmallow sauce. Or caramel sauce… any of those would be good.”
Bailey smiled, and then sat there waiting for Hade’s reply.

What Kim said about the place he grew up in was honestly quite interesting for Rita. The black-haired Second Year Hufflepuff first-string beater had never been to Japan and Korea, but she knew those two countries are quite close to her parent`s hometown in China. As for the Kingdom of Sweets, Rita remembered her parents used to take her to the place when she was little, and later bringing her younger brother as well, and the variety of sweets in that amazing place was quite eye-opening and of course mouth-watering for her as a girl with a sweet tooth. Despitely amazing place to visit, and maybe she could visit there with her parents and her little brother once again when she arrived home for spring break in April.

"Well, what you said about Japan and Korea was pretty fascinating. I`ve never been there before, but I know it`s not super far from China, where my parents came from. They immigrated to UK from Shanghai before I and my little brother Kevin were born." Rita then replied to Kim with a friendly smile, "It is quite brilliant that Japan and Korea has put so much effort into protecting the environment and the wildlife reservation respectively. I think UK`s gonna learn that from the two countries. As for the Kingdom of Sweets, I remember going there with my parents when I am little and later bringing my brother with us to visit there. Pretty great place for a sweet lover like myself, and maybe I should visit there again during the spring break this year." Rita then turned to Kim when the black-haired Second Year Hufflepuff beater finished her speech, and waited for him to respond. Rita wondered if Kim had any further words to say, and if not, they shall say goodbye to each other and move on to the next round of speed dating.

And once again Opeila allowed the action to unroll without interfering, instead sorted the notes and drank some tea herself- of course she had made sure that the organizers would have access to drinks and snacks that weren't laced with love potion. That would be one interesting party if the hosts were suddenly not in their right minds anymore either! Absolute chaos! But those that were previously under the effect of a potion would now also slowly find themself free of it again.

Opeila had taken care that there was not too much love potion in these snacks. A little fun was no problem, but she didn't want any of the kids to be stuck as lovesick fools and potentially really embarrassing themselves for hours. That wouldn't have been fair and the prefect would have felt uncomfortable stripping them of their control for such a long time.

But this way they were all clear-minded and well when the young prefect raised her voice again, after she had given the pairs a few minutes to chat among themselves and get to know their assigned partner. Some of them she was certain already knew each other or were maybe even friends, but what did it matter, right?

Soon after Rita chatted to Kim Aoki @Kim Sato about their favorite thing about the place they grow up in, the 3rd round of the speed dating was quickly drew to an end by the moderator of the event, snake Prefect @Opeila Winters, before the black-haired prefect announced the next pai, and this time, it was another boy that Rita was paired with, the fourth year Quidditch Player in the Ravenclaw team @Damion White. The Second Year Hufflepuff beater has seen Damion before in the flying club meeting and when the Ravenclaw Quidditch Player came to check her after she being knocked down by a bludger in the first round in the fall Quidditch match against Gryffindor last year in October. The black-haired Second Year Hufflepuff beater had never had a Quidditch match against the Ravenclaw team, so maybe some time in the future, they might even be facing each other as opponents in the match. Nevertheless, they could still practice together in the Quidditch training pitch to practice for the official game some time in the future anyway!

Anyway, after saying goobye to Kim, Rita looked around the small hall to find Damion. But first, the black-haired Second Year Hufflepuff beater grabbed a prompt from the prompt box to give her a idea what to talk to the Ravenclaw Quidditch player with. "What food would you invent if you were to invent any food, interesting question. I wonder what Damion would think about that. Let me go and find him now." The black-haired Hufflepuff beater thought before going to find Damion in the small hall.

"Hi, Damion! Nice to see you again! How are you doing today? Enjoying the speed dating event for the Valentine ball? Anyway, our prompt question is, if you were to invent any food, what would you invent?" Rita waved to Damion with a bright smile after managing to find him somewhere in the small hall, "I wanna invent a food that need no ingredients and can just generate in the air. I know that sounds absolutely crazy and stupid, but that way we can have unlimited food at any time and those poor people who have limited or no access to food don`t have to worry about that, what do you think?" Rita then continued to smile at Damion when she finished her speech, and waited for the Ravenclaw fourth year Quidditch player to respond.

It was time to say goodbye to Erin. We hadn’t done as much chatting as some of my other partnerships, but I thought that was alright. Not everyone was as talkative as me, and that was good. If we all talked all of the time, well, that would be bad.

“Goodbye Erin! Have a good night.” I told her as I walked away. I began walking for the food and drink, but stopped abruptly. Opelia was announcing the new partners. I really wanted to know mine, so I stopped and listened.

I was partnered with a boy. Harlan Montgomery. I had no idea who he was, but I was about to find out.

When I finally found the boy, I decided to use the conversation started Opelia had provided. The question was: Which school rule would be the most fun to break. “Ok. Hi. I’m Charlie. What school rule would be the most fun to break. I think sneaking in to Hogsmade cause you get to hang out with your friends and buy things like candy which you cannot get a school. I said, pretending that I had never been to Hogsmade but I had actually been a few times.

After that short conversation with Harlan, I decided to head back up to the Ravenclaw tower. I was done with this event. Even thought there was going to be another round of dating, I decided to be done.
