solo Is your heart taken? (part 1)

I was gonna do it. I was gonna ask Maila to the ball with me! I couldn’t wait. I had spoke about to my brother nearly as much as I could yesterday and the day before… and at the weekend. I needed to go with her, I think I was finally gonna tell her that I wanted to date her. But does she like me? Of course she likes me, it is me.

No. No. Just keep your mind on one thing, asking her to the ball! If I ask her to the ball… wooo would I have hit the ultimate jackpot! She has to be the prettiest in the whole school and then some! The way she smells… her hair, oh her hair is spectacular, and her eyes! I could get lost forever.

I ducked into an empty classroom and recited the poem as best I could. Damn, writing the words were easier than saying them! I would kneel in front of her, “Daisies are pretty, so are daffi’s," I paused.. ein, zwei, drei. Uh Mondlicht ist schön… “Moonlight is beautiful… genau wie du, just like you!” then I would stand up, take her hand and kiss it, "Maila Aurora Laine... will you... Geh mit mir zum Bloom Ball… go with me to the… bloom ball?" and then she would say yes and I would jump up and hug her and I could rattle to my brother about how I have a love life and that he will attending the ball alone.

It was perfect. If... if she could understand me. I sighed and sat down at a desk, reading it over and over again.



Hope I didn't make a huge fool out of myself!
