Having a bludger smash into her side wasn't the worst pain Winnie had experienced. She was hardy, thanks to a childhood of farming. Having focused on the hoops it was too late for her to dodge the round devil, all she could do was brace herself.

Blowing her hair out of her face, she glanced towards the offending player, Pax. "Damn, is that the best you got? I've gotten worse bruises during practice. Come at me again!" She taunted before diving towards the hoops.

Bingo. After what seemed like an eternity of searching and searching, her eyes finally landed on the object of interest she was after nodding to herself. There was no mistaking it, that annoying little flit of gold that hovered tauntingly almost mocking them before taking off lightspeed yet Elena's eyes followed it out of fear if she should lose it, they would be back to the searching game. "There it is!" She said hurriedly to Zoe, this was their chance to put an end to a rather brutal and painful game that could turn sweet for them if they so desired.

It didn't appear Ravenclaw's seeker had gotten wind of what was happening and Elena thought that was a good thing. That gave them more ample time to develop a plan of attack which was a rather simple one, catch the blasted thing. Seeing it was only half the battle, now she had to actually put her skills to good use and secure a victory for them knowing full well this would not be an easy task but nevertheless, it was a good sign to at least have track of where it was at.

2. In the role of Seeker, if an opponent attempts to Bludger or Blatch you, there is a 20% chance that you veer out of the way the last second and another enemy player at RANDOM is targeted instead.

3. In the role of Seeker, when using the search action if you critically fail on your search you get a re-roll in an attempt to find the snitch. In an attempt to grab the snitch, if you critically fail on your attempt to grab the snitch you get to re-roll your attempt to grab the snitch.

Ravenclaw vs. Gryffindor

Things were looking great from below. Taisia watched on excitedly, hoping that Edward would be able to catch the snitch, or that they could score 60 more points before the Gryffindor seeker did. She grinned at an exchange between Winnie and Pax, the former taunting the latter about the weak bludger shot.

"Yo momma!," was all Jorah could think to say as he watched the chaos he had unleashed unfold. Jorah with all his cruelty, his malice, and his will to dominate all Quidditch had just backbeat a bludger into Jay, knocking the poor chap off his broom, before then having the bludger collide with Ethan as well. The old, two for one special. Unfortunately, no brooms were harmed in the making of this film so the J-man would just have to try again.

The game was progressing fast. Ravenclaw had already scored 150 points to Gryffindor's 50 points, they were in the lead! If only Edward could catch the snitch before the Gryffindor seeker. Ayuna crossed her fingers and wished Edward good luck. "GO EDWARD!" the girl cheered, "Catch the snitch before that damn Gryffindor!"

Gryffindor vs Ravenclaw

It was only his second game, yet it might just as well have been his first, for it went just as poorly. Instead of going after the quaffle, he flew around in circles, gritting his teeth every time Ravenclaw scored. But there was nothing he could do, he'd been given a task and he lacked the courage to defy the Gryffindor Captain's instructions.

At least it wasn't a total waste of time. From the corner of his eye he spotted the blur of red and gold, formerly known as Jay, now turned into a local comet and speeding toward the ground. Leaning forward, he pitched down almost vertically and raced to catch the falling boy. It wasn't a graceful save exactly, but it was a save nonetheless.

"Hiya Jay," he greeted his teamate with a stupid grin on his face. "Hold my shoulders and don't let go, we're going to make some moves." There was barely any time for his passenger to heed his warning before he turned sharply, aiming the nose of his broom to where he'd last seen the quaffle. If thry were going to lose, they'd go down fifhting all the way.

Feeling the sharp pain in his knee, a strangled gasp came from his throat as soon as he finished his lap. What a bunch of- He fell, but was quickly caught by his teammate. Thank the gods for that definition miracle. If it wasn’t for his fellow Gryffindor, he would be on the ground. He would rather that actually, due to how much his leg was hurting. He was sure something was broken, but they had to keep going. He was the only one left of his position.

Cecily couldn't help but smirk as Gryffindors tumbled from their brooms left and right. She knew firsthand how much it would hurt when they hit the ground, but there was no room in such a cutthroat match to have sympathy for the enemy. It was kill or be killed in Quidditch, and the Ravenclaws were kicking ass and taking names today. They even had a Chaser to spare-- Winnie, racking up the points with the Quaffle, perhaps giving them an edge over Gryffindor's more tenured Seekers. Oh, it was all coming together for the blonde captain, a glimpse of the talent and hunger of last year's team. They wouldn't be counted out yet.
