There was a bit of a switcheroo for the Gryffindors, the petrificus totalus heading for Dmitri bounced off and hit Opeila, while the water spell originally aimed for Opeila hit Dmitri's Shield instead, definitely a good use of Protego there.

Meanwhile Opeila continued to struggle with Dmitris blindfold, and now seemed to have her own struggle to deal with simultaneously.

Alan couldn't believe how wrong but right at the same time this round had gone. They missed their intended target but the result of this was more than awesome anyway. Perhaps there was hope for them to win this after all, all they had to do now was to ensure that Slytherin did not manage to catch up with them again.

It has been several bouts of spellcasting already, but not matter how the other team tried, they still cannot seem to get to him.

Pity.

Out of all four of them, everybody knew who was the more formidable duelist.

Probably why they chose him, of all people, to disable with a pesky blindfold.

It was time he showed them exactly why he was undefeated.

As the fog cleared, Evelynn was rewarded with the rather amusing vision of Jones prone upon the floor with Winters hunched over him, attempting to pry off the blindfold. "Quite the knot," the ginger commented with a smirk, the Slytherin's moment of vulnerability affording her reprieve enough to cast an amused glance Alan's way. "I will have to study your technique.."

But later, not now. As amusing as it was to see the proud sixth year floundering blindly upon the floor, Evelynn knew that would only last so long. Eventually, his partner would be able to free him from the sensory deprivation. They couldn't have that. Eyes back forward, the lioness flicked out her wand, fully intending to further disable the arrogant worm.

She should have known it wouldn't be quite so easy, however. Although vision failed him, his faculties did not; and he was able to execute an admittedly brilliant shield that turned not only Evelynn's spell away, but absorbed Vanes' as well. At least her own wouldn't be lost entirely, sending Winters to the floor a second later.

"Not quite what I had in mind..." she admitted with a shrug of a brow. "But at least that is still one fewer for the moment, I suppose."

Oh, she guessed she had it coming in a way. Opeila was still sending a smirk Evelynn's way for her comment, when the next spells started to fly around them. Once again Opeila tried her luck with the blindfold. "Come on... damned thing!"

It wouldn't move, not one bit. Who would move was Dmitri, casting a shield for a spell that was cast at him- only that it ricocheted off, right at her. "No-" She could only raise her hands as reflex, as if to protect her face, before the body binding spell hit her. Legs snapped together and arms to her side, making her fall to the ground in an uncomfortable way, hopefully kicking Dmitri in the process.

And there she was now, slowly stopping to care. Fine, he could do all of this by himself, blindfolded then. Right now it wasn't her problem.

Delilah couldn't help but let a snicker out at the sight, Dmitri, the unbeatable, 100% success rate dmitri, was currently stuck on the ground with his blindfold STILL very much attached. Opeila managed to break out of her binds thankfully for her, and Evelynn got a decent heal. Overall, this duel definitely seemed to be more on the gryffindors side. Was this duel going to be Dmitris first loss? Watched over by del, the first duellist that he won against? Only time could tell.
