Won't be online from the coming hour on (so from 2:50pm for me) until around the late evening. This is because of my first freeway drive today which I'm a little no, very scared of. Next week is still busy because of school stuff but the coming week after that, I will be online much more because of spring break (finally.) I'm still online, responding to owls and other things but I just don't have enough time to write thread replies. (May get out some on the weekends tho.)

Going on short mini trip with my family!! Parents are going to a comic con, and the next day were all going to a zoo. So activity will probably be slow!! (Sorry I forgot how long ill be gone for, probably 2 days at least 3 at most) I will still be here! Just a bit less active :]

Fair warning to anyone I roleplay with, this isn't a leave of absence per say, but my activity will be highly variable for an undetermined amount of time. Expect my replies to be slow. I can't go into much detail other than things are getting very busy on my side of the world. Staff, if you have any questions, I am willing to Owl about what's going on. I can't go into specifics, but it's important enough that I figured it needed to be said before I randomly disappear from the site without warning.
I'm gonna try to remain as active as possible while I can. Plenty of homework assignments to get done for my first year.

Edit: Before posting this and making this decision, I've talked to several people including a HoH and the Headliner's editor-in-chief (leader) in order to avoid misunderstanding. Some people, as well as those in the Headliner and Hufflepuff Quidditch teams, know this but for reference to everyone, I'm deactivating Marius on the 1st or 2nd week of April. I love Marius, but I feel that he doesn't have enough opportunities for character development.
My Castelobruxo iNPC Sherlock Dols would remain though, OoC he'll be transferred ownership to my new account this upcoming academic year.
I'll remain on the Hogwarts Headliner team as my new character, and will be using these remaining days to try to tie up loose ends and finish as many Marius RP threads as possible.
For the players I'm RPing as Marius with, I'm sorry for plot lines I've started that I can't follow through with; and as for Sherlock's RP partners, I thank you in advance for your patience in waiting for the time Sherlock can be transferred ownership to my new PC. (I do plan to continue our threads as Sherlock, but I believe we need to wait.)

Be safe those traveling. For those with undisclosed reasons for being away, be safe too. I am still without a computer so my activity remains very slow. However, not the point of my jump in. A quick reminder regarding iNPCs - iNPCs can only be the same year as the user playing them, so if as a y2 you change characters with the deactivation system, then you would not be able to access your y2 NPC. Also, the stats would need to be the same, so it is a very limited opportunity to keep an iNPC. I mention this because I see a y2 associated with the account. As for maintaining a position on newspaper, please make sure that the team lead has confirmed this as there are accesses to consider.
There is something about ambition, how it not only propels you but also defines you.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing, I was like wait how can you still retain your position in Headliner if there are other people on a waitlist waiting to get into it when a position opens up? I talked to other people and they said they were considering deactivating but didn't want to lose their positions that their PC holds at the moment. As when they deactivate, they lose their positions and have to sign up again to get the same position with their new PC. So when I saw what you said, I was like I don't think you can retain your position unless there's no one else that wants your position and has been waiting for awhile for a spot to open up. And also the owner of the Headliner needs to approve this too. But Lear answered this question! If there is no one else on the waitlist wanting to take your vacant position (once you deactivate) then I think you could take your position back. But if there are people who have been waiting for awhile to get in, they should get first priority.

Afaik there is no waitlist. This is not first come first serve, but there would be an application process and a new member would be picked. Since Marius is still willing to be on the team, it might be possible to keep the position, since it is also not a house based role. But headliner would need to decide that.
