──────────────────────────── APPEARANCE Reducio Roksana is very small at barely 4’6, with short, wavy blonde hair(that she sometimes straightens)and blue eyes. She recently got glasses too, as she is nearsighted. She is a lot smaller than most of her peers, and she can be considered as lean. She often likes to leave her hair down often with barrettes. ──────────────────────────── PERSONALITY Reducio Roksana is very humourous in a lot of cases, and she is also very mischievous, sometimes playing pranks on people for fun. She is considered quirky and opportunistic, and it’s very hard to make her unhappy or mad. She likes to ask questions and purposely tries to come off as annoying to people she doesn’t like, or who don’t like her. However, she is very social around other people(even if they’re not her age)and she likes to observe the world around her. She usually comes off as sweet and innocent…until she doesn’t. Roksana personally likes to call it, "talking to a devil who acts like an angel". She often uses this to her advantage to see if she likes who she’s talking to, though this can all go wayward in a number of ways, especially if whoever she doesn’t like provokes her ire somehow... As for habits/mannerisms...when sitting down, she often sits on her hands to avoid them acting of their own accord and touching anything they're not supposed to, particularly shiny objects. She likes to laugh and often wears a pin with a strange saying on it. Plus, she plays with whatever's in her hand or picks her nails when bored, and when talking to someone, usually looks off to the left. Any additional info: Roksana's favourite colours are burgundy dark red, dark pink, and grey. She likes art and books and likes to go see St. Basil's Cathedral with her mother sometimes. Her first name(Roksana) means "light", her patronymic name(Nikolayev)means "victory of the people" and her last name(Volkov)means "wolf". and close family members sometimes call her Rona. Her name in the Cyrillic text(a Slavic text)is Роксана Николаев Волков. ──────────────────────────── HISTORY Reducio Roksana Nikolayev Volkov is the 3rd daughter of Viktoriya Volkov(Вікторія Волков)and Nikolay Volkov(Николай Волков). She was born on January 13th, 2011. Only Roksana’s mother and her family went to Koldovstoretz; her father had gone to Durmstrang when he was younger, as about half of his family was Bulgarian/Serbian and had gone there themselves, and he lived closer to that region when he was younger. The family lives in the city of Murmansk, Russia, currently. Roksana is the youngest girl in her family. She has two sisters, Lyudmila “Mila”(Людмила “Мила”), who is in Group 5 at Koldovstoretz, and Tamara “Toma”(Тамара “Тома”), who was already in Group 6. Her little 5-year-old brother, Rolan(Ролан), hasn’t shown his first sign of magic yet, and Roksana’s parents are hoping that he isn’t a squib. They do have a little bit of the “Pureblood Supremacy” view, but not a whole lot to where they loathe muggles and half-bloods. Roksana had a comfortable(and a bit high)life since her family was generally very wealthy. She was often overshadowed by her older sisters, and sometimes people forgot she was in the room. Roksana almost never got upset about this, and instead sometimes used it to her advantage. She loved to spend time in the library of her family’s manor, and even in her sister’s room, scrummaging around in their stuff. Her paternal grandparents weren’t fond of Roksana’s quirky personality and temperament, and they had wanted her to go to Durmstrang as they did, but when Roksana’s letter from Koldovstoretz arrived, they knew that it might be the better option for her, even though Koldovstoretz was a relatively new school. Roksana and her family live near muggles, but not too close, so as to not raise suspicion. Roksana’s first instance of magic was at age 5 when her two older sisters were in group 3 at Koldovstoretz. Her 11-year-old cousin Svetla(Светла), who was going to Durmstrang, had come over to visit the Volkov Manor. However, Svetla was very fond of bullying Roksana and anyone else younger than her, but Roksana usually got her back. However, she hated it when Svetla teased her about her height, which was what she was doing right now. “Seriously, what are you, two? You're a filthy midget! You look like you could be a squib!” This didn’t make much sense, but it upset Roksana nonetheless, though she tried not to show it. Svetla was still teasing Roksana until she finally reached her breaking point. “Shut up you donkey!” she yelled, an insult that her sisters loved to use against anyone they didn’t like, including Svetla. Svetla didn’t like to be called a donkey, so she tried to grab Roksana. That’s when Svetla’s dress caught on fire, and she screamed, and that’s when the adults fled upon the scene. Terrified, Roksana scrambled away and watched as her mother managed to put out the fire. Luckily, Svetla wasn’t hurt very badly. Svetla told the whole story to the adults, leaving out the parts about her teasing Roksana. Roksana’s parents weren’t very happy about the situation, but they were very glad that Roksana had had her very instance of magic. When she got her letter from Koldovstoretz a little later, she was so excited, because she really needed to learn how to channel her magic more. Viktoriya Volkov might as well be Roksana's favorite person in the world. She is Roksana's mother, a pureblood witch. She was born in St. Petersburg, Russia, and she went to Koldovstoretz when she was 9. She is currently 38 years old. She, like Roksana, has a fun personality and likes to use quotes or phrases from other people(especially authors), and she doesn't quite follow the ideals of your average stereotypical pureblood family. However, she does follow the ideals enough to swear that she would never marry a muggle or half-blood. Viktoriya has dark, nut-brown hair and light blue eyes. Viktoriya Volkov, Mother

Nikolay Volkov is quite different from the rest of his family. He is half Russian, and half Bulgarian, and he and his family lived in Moscow for a while. Even though it was another option(probably closer too), his family did not send Nikolay to Koldovstoretz because none of them had gone there, so instead, he was sent to Durmstrang. Because of being raised by an idealistic pureblood family, he is stern, but polite, and will hear anyone out if the moment comes to it. It's easy to change his mind, and he is considered a good listener. He is also wary of muggles. Not a lot, but a bit. He has ruddy dirty blonde hair, blue-grey eyes, and little facial hair. He does not bear much resemblance to his children. He is currently 40 years old. FC: Luke Mitchell

Nikolay Volkov, Father

Tamara "Toma" Volkov is the eldest of the Volkov children. She has a better relationship with her family than her sister Mila, but she is still a teenager... Toma is currently 16 years old, and she's in Group 6 at Koldovstoretz. She's a very serious person and is a huge bookworm. She's most comfortable around her friends, however, she's quiet and doesn't socialize with lots of people. She's good to be around, but bad to talk to since she often loses her train of thought and has trouble socializing with people. Toma has long, dark auburn hair, big hazel brown eyes, and blunt bangs which she's successfully managed to grow out. However, she doesn't look much like her parents. FC: Alice Englert

Lyudmila "Mila" Volkov might just be one of Roksana's least favourite people. She is 14, and like her mother and sister, she's gone to Koldovstoretz. She is currently in Group 5 at the school. Mila is not one to voice her thoughts, she likes to keep to herself. She seems to not enjoy the company of people, but she secretly does(and Roksana knows it). Mila herself cares a lot about the environment and has refused to become a Quidditch player because of the tradition of uprooting live trees. She is passionate about what she cares about and even more passionate when it comes to being her own person. A lot of people see her as incredibly stubborn. Mila, like Roksana, has wavy blonde hair(though hers is longer), and blue eyes. She likes to wear dark colours. FC: Dakota Fanning

Lyudmila "Mila" Volkov, Older Sister

Rolan Volkov is the youngest(and only)boy in the Volkov family. He is 6 years old and has not displayed his first instance of magic yet, meaning that his family doesn't know whether he's a squib or not, or whether he will go to Koldovstoretz or Durmstrang since Nikolay wanted at least one of his children to go to Durmstrang. So, the family is waiting to see. Rolan is a happy kid, and Roksana is very protective of him, especially from Mila, who doesn't quite like him. He likes to play outside and admire nature mostly, like his sister Mila, and likes to collect stuff. He has a very, very basic concept of magic, but doesn't really understand how complicated it is yet. A lot of the family is sure he himself prefers it that way.
