★ W R I T I N G ★★ Spring Poem ★ReducioSpringtime is Near
Flowers bloom with their gorgeous hues,
All the skies are clear and blue,
The beauty of life is to reappear,
As people know that springtime is near.
Trees begin to regrow their leaves,
And the birds gradually come back with ease,
As time goes on the signs seem clear,
As people know that springtime is near.
No more clouds shall darken our days,
As the shadow of winter fades and fades,
The Sunshine in the sky brings lots of cheer,
As everyone knows that springtime is here.
WC: 87★ A Gossip Leaflet About Aisley ★ReducioA recent question about a certain pink-haired Ravenclaw's parents has been raised after she was seen in the Great Hall in tears. Yep. That's right. Did something big happen back at home while she was at Hogwarts? Sources say that on February 11th, Aisley was seen receiving a letter from home. Our witnesses say that she read the letter over multiple times before bursting into tears in her dormmate's hold. Listeners at the table say they heard words such as 'dad' and 'lady and her kid.' Soon after, she muttered names such as 'Scarlett,' 'Mari,' and 'James.' Who are these people? Why was Aisley upset? Most importantly, what is happening with her dad, Scarlett, and her son? Find out more by reading "This Changes Everything."
WC: 125★ Aisley's Best PG13 Joke ★Reducio"Hey Dad," Aisley said as she walked down the stairs, "I have a question for you."
Her dad look over at her, his eyebrows knitted together as a look of confusion passed across his face. "Question away Ais."
Aisley made her way to sit on the couch across from her dad before asking her question, fighting off a smile. "Are we supposed to call the security guards at the Samsung store Guardians of the Galaxy?"
Her dad looked at her for a solid 5 seconds in contemplation before he started to laugh. "Your joke is actually ridiculous! I don't know why I'm laughing!" He said, still laughing at his daughters' stupid joke.
WC: 116★ A Feelings Post With No Dialouge ★ReducioAisely seemed to be adjusting well. Well- adjusting as much as a five-year-old could when her parents just got a divorce and finally figured out their shared custody guidelines. I mean, as far as she knew, she had another older sibling, and a new dad (who by the way, she didn't like a whole lot. Nothing would compare to her real dad.) Despite the fact that Aisley and Alexander didn't have a very strong relationship, Aisley tried her absolute hardest to have a good relationship with her now older brother, Jack. She tried on countless occasions. Trying to have conversations, play fun little games, and even watch a show or movie together. Though no matter what she did, her step-brother always seemed to just brush her off, leaving the young girl heartbroken each time. All she wanted was an older brother who cared for her and after about two whole months of trying, Aisley gave up trying and decided to leave Jack alone. She went to play with her three-year-old brother and six-year-old sister, instead. After about a month of leaving Jack alone, one day, he finally came up to Aisley, who was sadly playing alone. James and Marianne had contracted the flu, so she was alone. Jack had realized that he missed the nagging of his younger step-sister, and now, he finally opened up. This was one of the happiest days of Aisley's entire childhood. As soon as Jack asked to play with her, Aisley's world lit up, and a huge beaming smile appeared on her face. Now, six years later, Aisley and Jack have quite a close bond, and Jack is ready to protect and be there for his younger step-sister.
WC: 283★ A Solo About Trying Something New ★ReducioGymnastics was fun for Aisley. It was even something she wanted to take with her into her teen and maybe early adult years if she could, but it could be scary. Terrifying even. She had practiced all of the skills required to succeed in the tumbling pass she was about to attempt. She'd done them on air tracks, and trampolines, with spotters and mats, yet she couldn't figure out why she was so scared to do a roundoff back handspring back tuck on the floor without mats or a spotter. Maybe it was the fear of messing up in front of her entire team. Maybe the fear of landing wrong. Maybe even the fear of somehow injuring herself and having to drop from their next meet. Aisley just didn't know.
Aisley stood in line with her teammates, ready to each do their roundoff back handspring back tuck in the front of their coach. Aisley watched as her teammates completed the pass with ease and perfection as her nerves hit her once again. When it was her turn to complete the floor skill, she took a deep breath and looked toward her coach, a nervous look cast upon her face. Her coach gave her a nod and a few words of encouragement before Aisley took a deep breath and began to run across the floor, swallowing her fear.
After about three running strides, Aisley went into her roundoff that set her up for her back handspring. Encouraging herself in her head she finished the backhandspring and flung herself into the final step of the pass, the back tuck. Aisley grinned as she only stumbled one step on the landing from her back tuck. Looking towards her coach, her grin only got bigger as her coach told her nice job and her teammates applauded her. All of Aisley's hard work and practice had paid off as she successfully tried her new tumbling pass, and a week later at their gymnastics meet, Aisley had received almost a perfect 10 during her floor routine, and she had flawlessly executed the roundoff back handspring back tuck.
WC: 351★ Make Up A Spell ★ReducioWater Repelling SpellWater-Repelling Spell
Have you ever got caught in the rain without an umbrella? Well, this is the spell for you! Say goodbye to soaking wet clothes and having to run through the rain to get to your next class. Simply just wave your wand over your head and say the incantation below to repel the water over your head so you don't have to survive classes and everyday life waiting for your robes or clothes to dry!
Incantation: Repellere Aquam
Pronunciation: Ree-pell-ee-air Ah-quah-um
Wand Motion: Wave your wand in a circle around your head
Effect: An invisible glass shield over your head like an umbrella. It repels water so you don't get wet in the rain.
WC: 116★ A Short Adventure Story ★ReducioA wedding. One that Aisley didn't really want to go to. But I mean, she'd been named a flower girl at her mother's wedding, and being a young six-year-old, she couldn't really refuse her mother's request. So now, she was with her mother at a dress store trying on the fanciest dresses her tiny self had ever seen.
"No not that one. Ais, dear, go try on the one with the bow at the back." Elizabeth said to her youngest daughter.
Aisley groaned as she trudged back towards the fitting room to pull on another dress. All of the dresses she'd tried on seemed so pretty on her, but she knew that this was all for her mother's big day. By far, this was Aisley's least favorite part of being the flower girl. Like most brides, Elizabeth wanted her daughter to wear a white dress like herself. It was all 'the lace doesn't look right,' or 'that's way too close to Mari's dress.'
Rolling her blue-green eyes, the girl shrugged off the previous dress before pulling the new one on. This dress had lace detail, a ribbon tied into a lovely bow on the back, and long, itchy sleeves. Crinkling her nose at how the dress looked on her, Aisley moved out of the fitting room so her mother could zip up the dress.
Aisley knew the look on her mother's face. It was a look of pure adoration. She knew that Elizabeth loved the dress on her daughter, "Oh darling! You look so cute!"
"Yeah, well I don't like it."
Elizabeth shot Aisley a look. "We've been over this Aisley. You'll understand when you're getting married one day."
Aisley muttered under her breath in annoyance. The dress was so itchy, and the bow was just so ugly! The young girl knew that she wasn't going to be caught dead at a wedding in an uncomfortable dress. A plan began to form in her mind. If she made a tear in the fabric, then her mother wouldn't buy the dress! A risky play, but it would be 100% worth it.
So Aisley made her way back into the changing room as she drowned out the chatter of her mother and the fitter. Keeping her disappointed facade up until she closed the curtain of the dressing room, she smirked before aggressively unzipping the dress as best as she could.
The material scratched her skin as she began to put her plan into action. Taking the dress off, she put on her normal clothes before continuing to ruin small parts of the dress. Parts, where her mother would have never noticed anything, were different. Soon satisfied with her work, Aisley quickly scratched her harms to show more of an effect the dress had on her skin.
Smirking at her work in the mirror, Aisley moved out of the dressing room, making sure to gloss her eyes over with tears before saying, "Mom, look at my arms! They're so red from the dress!"
WC: 500★ A Post About Training For A Sport ★ReducioIt was Tuesday, and a Tuesday for 10-year-old Aisley meant a workout day at her gym. Instead of practicing her tumbling skills, working on her vault, or even her floor routine, Aisley and the rest of her team were to spend the entire two-hour training period doing pushups, burpees, laps around the gym, sit-ups, and more. It was the one day when Aisley could walk in with shorts and a workout tee instead of spandex and her leotard.
Closing the door to the car, Aisley waved to her dad as he drove away and walked up the short staircase to get into the gym. Waving at the receptionist, Aisley made her way to the back where she set her bag down and pulled her hair into a small ponytail. The blonde-haired ten-year-old made conversation with her teammate, Nikki, before their coach, Ari, called them onto the mats she'd set up.
Smiling at her team, Air greeted the group before her, about ten girls and six boys. Aisley and her teammates began to groan and complain when their coach told them the workout set for the day. 100 push-ups, 5 laps around the entire gym, 100 burpees, 10 sets of 3 two-minute planks, another 5 laps around the gym, 10 sets of 20 pull-ups on the bars, and 10 sets of 20 squats with a teammate on your shoulders.
It was safe to say that Aisley was in an immense amount of pain when the workout was done and that she wasn't going to another Tuesday practice for another two weeks.
WC: 260★ A Poem About Love ★ReducioThey say all good things must come to an end,
But oh darling, my life has been spent.
Finding love with you was rare,
But oh darling, now I take my last breath of air,
Please, my love, don't mourn my demise,
Darling, I will wait for you up in the beautiful blue skies.
