From what I believe and understand, yes you can put them in but sometimes they shift or look funny because the reducio is smaller.

No, your iNPC would have the same spells as your PC, which is why they also don't have a spell or potions section in their trunk.

No. Your iNPC only knows what you know. For example, if you had prodigal, your iNPC would know the exact same spells you do.
