Well apparently the entire team was experiencing stage freight all at once, quite the odd phenomenon, but this was Hogwarts and stranger things had happened. Winnie could only jump up from her spot on the bench and call out to her team mates, "Don't worry about it! We've got this. Let them get a head start so we can show them what we're made of. They might be lions but we've got CLAWS!"

"GO RAVENCLAW!" Ayuna shouted, cheering for her team. "YOU CAN DO IT!" Unfortunately, they were behind, and with each goal the Lions scored, she became more agitated and nervous. There was nothing the girl could do except cheer loudly for the Ravens. "Come on Cecily!" she yelled, "SHOW THEM!" She really hoped they could win, but it seemed like a bit of luck would get them a long way.

Edme couldn't say she wasn't incredibly confused by her team doing... absolutely nothing. Now, obviously, this was to be expected of her. And yes, she was also one of the frozen. But the entire team? They tried to avoid looking at the other team a she slowly tried to bring movement back into her bones.

They still had another round. She just hoped they would all jump to their senses and get a move on.

The whistle blew and the players were off, at least half of the players were. Jorah tried as he might to will his broom forward, but nothing. He floated in place bewildered. "What the heck is going on!" Jorah swiveled his head around, apparently all of his teammate were having similar issues while Gryffindor scored unopposed. "Cheaters!," he yelled across the pitch. His cry went unheard, as the Gryffindor chasers scored again and again without opposition. This isn't fair! Jorah gripped his bat tighter, his anger swelling. The tempest inside him raged with each point Gryffindor racked up, until Jorah finally broke free of the dark magic holding him at bay. Jorah raced forward ready for a fight.

Having no plan sometimes seems to be the best plan, but not in the case of quidditch. Lavinia’s team had no plan. Usually she would go on her own and attempt to knock someone off their broom, but was so utterly lost in what the plan was. It was just chaos on Ravenclaw’s side and it turned into no one doing anything. Fortunately enough for them, all 7 of them were still riding on their brooms and only 50 points had been added to Gryffindor’s score. They could make this back up with a proper strategy, she could help make it up if she put her whole mind to it.

Edward searched for the snitch but he could not see it. Not even a tiny glimpse of gold. Nothing. While looking for it, he followed what else happened on the field. Lavinia was on fire, scoring 5 times for Ravenclaw. He cheered for the last goal, the only one he had actually seen live since he had concentrated so much on the snitch "Whohoo. Go, Lavinia, Go!"
He heard the crowd yell in shock twice, one time as the other seeker was kicked off her broom - Yesss! - and the other time when - Oh no! - Cecily was kicked off her broom. Both were caught by team mates, which was a pity in the case of the Gryffindor seeker. Of course it would have been much easier with her out of the way. But Edward was greatful that Cecily was caught by Damion. What would they have done without their team captain. He had not seen Sylvain since the start and started wondering.
Now, they were on par with Gryffindor. What would come next though? Hopefully he'd find the snitch soon.

Now he was starting to feel worried. How did he get on the team in the first place? He can’t get a single point. The ball was snatched away from him before he even had a chance to even move. It was stupid. He was only a first year. Why was he here with a bunch of older kids who could easily dominate him?

Because you’re a Divus. He thought to himself, shaking off the cold of the air. Divus’s never back down from a challenge. Just one more score, that’s all he’s asking for. Maybe the last score the the game? He just hoped he wouldn’t be aimlessly running around, following the ball and not getting to do anything. He leaned forward on his broom, ready to finally get serious.

Pax couldn't help but be slightly disheartened by Lavinia's sudden action surge as she scored over and over. However, they weren't going to make Jay feel bad about it, it was his first game. "It's ok Jay, you'll get them next time!"

They skilfully aimed a bludger towards Lavinia in retaliation, smirking when it hit. When it bounced to hit Jorah too, they couldn't stop the small chuckle. "Now that's what I'm talking about."

They let out a short gasp when Elena tumbled from her broom, but breathed out with relief when Hannah caught her. Though it was annoying that Haley was caught...but they supposed it couldn't be helped.
