Valentines Ball
It was the evening (6pm) of the 17th of February, and the Ballroom was waiting for the arrival of the beautiful and lovely couples, the impossible love stories, those who want to write their own and others, who are simply there for the gossip of new lovebirds or new heartbreaks. Which one are you and what is your love story, I wonder?
The room was fully decorated for the occasion, the Valentine's Ball. Candles were illuminating the room, on top of the tables complementing the center pieces and along the paths with scattered rose petals. From the ceiling red, pink and white lanterns were hanged.
Entering the room one could see that at the right side of the entrance door was a circular delineated area where was hanging a big heart piñara ornate with pink, white and red paper flowers. Closer to the wall was container with several sticks that could be used to hit the piñata.

If one looked at their left they will find a round small table, with a silk white tablecloth covered with a lacey pink one. On top of the table there was several colored thread yarn, some white little pieces of paper, a quill and ink bottle. In this table is possible to create a gift for your loved one. A bracelet with the colors you choose and write a love message.
Alongside the left wall was a long buffet table. It was decorated with a red lacey and silk tablecloth, red, pink, white flowers and silver candlesticks with candles made the center pieces. The beverages were all in the same colors selected for the ballroom decorations theme. The food was a mix of sweet and savory. One could find many heart shaped desserts and several snacks.
Menu:
ReducioFood: Breakfast for dinner (pancakes, waffles, full English breakfast, etc), hamburger, pasta, steaks, you name it. There also were options for pescatarian, vegan, and vegetarian.
Beverages: fruit punch, strawberry juice and milkshakes (chocolate, vanilla, strawberry), varieties of other juices, pitchers of waters.
Desserts: Chocolate and cheese fondue with assorted skewers of fruits and other sweets, choco chip cookies with various toppings (almond, caramel, m&m's), snickerdoodles, and last but not least unlimited choc lava cakes.
On the center of the room the round tables were arranged in a circular shape leaving in the middle enough space for the dance floor, where everyone could dance and enjoy their night with their date or group of friends. Each table had six empty seats where guests could enjoy their food and drinks, or simply pass the time with interesting conversations. These tables where also decorated in white, pink and red, with center pieces similar to the one on the buffet table.
On the far end of the Ballroom a tall white tree had been placed. Its trunk was wide enough for several couples to engrave their initials and love messages. The tree was involve in strings of small white lights and some small white, pink and red lanterns where hanging from its branches. On the right side of it, illuminated by its lights was a Kiss Booth. The booth was made with white painted wooden slats decorated with red, pink and white flowers. There was a little list of the kisses one could give or sell for candies or sickles. The options were: air kiss, butterfly, cheeks, Eskimo and for the most daring a kiss on the lips.
The music started, the food was served and everyone could finally enjoy their time among their friends and loved ones.

Valentines Ball
Okay, it was finally that time of the year, the Valentine`s day. A day for lovers and friends to gather together and express their love to their dearest ones through dancing and other activities. To celebrate this special festival, Rina, Taisia, Cash, a few others, had kindly organized a Valentine ball for students to dance and celebrate this sweet festival with those they love and closest to a few days after the Valentine`s day, on Feb 17th. Since Rita currently was not in relationship with anyone, the Second Year Hufflepuff beater with short straight black hair and a pair of yellow glasses decided to go to the ball with her friend from the same house, Daphne Sapphirus. Even though the Second Year Hufflepuff first-string beater had only met Daphne a few times, Daphne`s knowledge and interest of those magical creatures, due to her dad being a zoologist, was pretty impressive to the black-haired Hufflepuff beater, and Rita actually wanted to get to know Daphne better, so the Second Year Hufflepuff beater asked Daphne to come to ball with her, and thankfully, her younger housemate had agreed! Ever since then, the Second Year Hufflepuff had been longing to go to the Valentine ball, and now the big day finally arrived!
So as soon as the scheduled time, 6 pm, arrived, Rita put on her best dress and brought a bouquet of flowers as a small but sweet little Valentine gift to Daphne, and rushed to the ballroom. And the Second Year Hufflepuff beater found out she was the first to arrive beside one of the organizers of this ball, Rina!
"Good evening, Rina! Happy Valentine`s Day! And I guess since I am the first to arrive, could I help myself to some chocolate and other desserts while we wait for others to come? By the way, thank you for your effort to organize this Valentine ball, I really appreciate that!" Rita waved to Rina delightedly with a big smile on her face, then turned to snack table to grab some chocolate while sitting in the ball room to wait for others to come, particularly Daphne, her friend and partner to dance at the ball with.

Taisia, Nina and Cash had been working in the Ballroom at any spare moment that day. After lessons ended, Taisia had run to the Ballroom so they could finish setting everything up. It looked amazing (in her totally unbiased opinion).
Five pm cut it pretty close, but Taisia was not that interested in her looks and taking hours to do so. She made her way up to the Ravenclaw Dorms, then she and Bailey Glade helped each other get ready. Tai ended up departing earlier than Bailey, at around 5:45pm. She met with the Ball organisers (having a previous agreement with Edward to meet there instead of him picking her up) and they ran around making sure everything was ready at the last minute.
Taisia felt unusually comfortable in her dress today. Maybe it was because it only showed a tiny portion of her belly. Nonetheless, she loved it and knew that she would wear it for other events. Bailey had helped her put her hair in a cute bun to braid style. She made sure to get herself a non-colour changing lipstick today, there would be no revealing her feeling towards Edward.
Their first guest arrived- Rita Su, second year Hufflepuff. Taisia knew of her but they hadn't officially met so she wasn't two surprised when Rita only greeted Nina and asked her about eating, as well as thanking her for the ball. Then she waited for

Azzy waited patiently for their date to arrive, they had decided to ask Jessicah Armstrong to come with them to the dance. Their heart raced as they seen the couples walk in. They were nervous. Their mom had taken careful planning for their dress, hand making it so it'd be perfect for them, even had a built in binder so it wouldn't trigger any gender dysphoria. They watched, the couples were wearing pink, red, and white. The colors of Valentine's Day. They had taken Jessicah on a picnic by the Great Lake on the 14th. And they were truly excited to see how Jessicah looked tonight. They were willing to bet Galleons that she looked stunning! And besides, how could the pretty Gryffindor not? Let's be honest, she had stolen Azrael's heart at first glance. Of course, they'd overwhelmed her most likely when they first met- That was alright though, because they'd made up for it during the time they met to now. They planned to officially ask Jessicah to be their girlfriend tonight, if all went well, she would say yes. And they hoped all went well. They sighed, realizing they were overthinking things. Tonight would be awesome thanks to the committee. And they knew that no matter what, at least they would be able to dance the night away with Jessicah.

Bailey and taisia had gotten ready together, something bailey had enjoyed. Bailey had always wanted a little sister or a close girl friend, and Taisia was both. Bailey was wearing a long but simple red dress, and she had help from Taisia on doing her hair. The younger girl was on the Valentines day comittee, so she had gone ahead of bailey. Bailey was using the extra few minutes to collect herself, before heading down.
Bailey put in her pearl and gold earrings, and slipped on a few rings onto her fingers.
Bailey finished putting all of the finishing touches to her outfit, and then she slipped her feet into her heels, heading out of her dorm.
Bailey made her way downstairs, and then entered the ballroom.
The room was decorated beautifully, and Bailey glanced around. She spotted @Irina Sousa, and Bailey smiled. Bailey also spotted @Rita Su and @Azrael Faire. Bailey looked around trying to find Kim, but she did not see him.
Walking up to Taisia she smiled and said “Heyy tai!! Is there anything I can do to help?”
She smiled again and asked her dorm mate “Do you think Kim will come? He’s been more moody and more reclusive- do you think he’ll come?”

The week of Valentine's Day is always a special time for lovers. For some, it's a day of love and romance. For others, it's a day to celebrate friendships. But no matter how you celebrate, one thing is for sure: hearts are everywhere!
So he got dressed up in his best clothes and went to the Valentine's Day ball. Even though he doesn't have a special someone to share the holiday with, he's still determined to enjoy the celebration. After all, what's the point of having a holiday dedicated to love if you're not going to celebrate it?
Ethan walked into the ballroom and was immediately enveloped in the Valentine's Day spirit—or maybe it was just the smell of all the food. His stomach growled as he eyed the table piled with food. If he couldn't have love, at least he could have a good meal!
To distract himself from his growling stomach, he decided to talk to some of the other guests. He spotted a familiar face (@Rita Su) across the room and made his way over to her. “OH! Hi Rita!” he said with a smile. “Long time, no see!”
He noticed that she wasn't with a partner, or maybe her partner was just coming over. “So, are you alone? Well, I'm alone. But that's okay! at least they've got a pretty good spread here.” He said, looking at the table. “Anyways, It was nice meeting you, Rita, I must say.. I have to go mingle with others, you know?”
Ethan walked away from Rita, his stomach still growling. He scanned the room, looking for someone else to talk to.
Walking aimlessly around, Ethan spotted someone he didn't recognize @(Azrael Faire). It looked like they were waiting for someone. And then he saw a familiar face (@Bailey Glade), talking to someone. She might be waiting for her boyfriend. Who was it again? Kim? He didn't want to label it, maybe it's just fan service or whatever.
He didn't want to interrupt the conversation, so he drifted off to find something else to do.OPEN FOR INTERACTIONS

It was kind of fun getting ready together with Caoimhe. The two girls giggling as they walked to the ballroom. Anna left most of her stuff in the lavatory only tucking her wand in one of the dresses’ pockets. The girls went inside and were momentarily blinded by all the pinks and reds. The first thing Anna spotted was the buffet table. It was quite full, with so many different foods, and Annas’ mouth watered. “What do you want to do first? Mingle around or go to the buffet? Oh, maybe make a bracelet”, Anna asked Kee. There was a bracelet making station in one of the corners.
Anna took another look around. There were a few people, and some of them she already recognized. Like Rita and Ethan, which she met on the train. She waved to them and smiled. Looking around more her gaze was caught by a student in a beautiful red and black gown. Anna was curious how that wasn’t the first thing she noticed, but given how gaudy and decorated everything else, they fit right in. Anna made a mental note to approach them later and get acquainted. For now she turned back to Caoimhe and waited for her answer.

Valentines Ball
The past few days since the 13th of February since she wrote the poem, Adya evaded any situation where she had to talk- or even have him glance at her. To give him a cold shoulder wasn't her intention. The young girl was queasy about whether or not she'll get a negative response. Why did she do that?! Regardless every word written on the paper -Maybe the last line little exaggerated- flowed straight from her heart. As if it wasn't alone enough to embarrass her, she kissed the letter! What possessed her to do that?! Although, not totally regretful about that. The response from Asher would conclude if she should mope over the outcome of her actions.
The dress she wore was the result of the butterfly effect. Thanks to her lovely sister Anvi! If only she hadn't pissed her off the day prior to her returning to school, the black haired girl would have missed any thoughts of stealthily packing her sister's newly bought dress into the bag. It's a great thing she doesn't know a thing about howlers. All Adya did to her hair was comb it. Her mom usually says 'Does it pains you to tie your hair?'. Actually it does. Uhm- in a literal sense. On the account, considering her usual schedule, it's an effort as well. Should have stolen the heels too... Nonetheless her black sneakers are comfortable. They look clean too!
Her recent behaviour and thoughts filled herself with puzzlement. It was unusual. Since when did she care about her clothing and makeup? Makeup! Really?! What the hell is wrong with her?! The girl who always prefers her face bare, free from makeup out of the blue requested her dorm mate to help her with it. Uff! Just for an evening! In the end, she can rub the mask off her face. Adya paced towards the ballroom with her camera hanging around her neck and a milk chocolate bar in hand. Adya would have been detected with a wide smile like a lunatic if the entire thing about the letter didn't freak her out. Adya stood at the entrance, her arms folded, her foot tapping nervously as she kept glancing around to catch sight of Asher.

VALENTINE'S BALL

────── date. 18 feb. 23 ─ outfit ─ @Irina Sousa Elira stood in her dorm, carefully applying some mascara to her lashes. Already dressed in a white, (quite long) dress, to others, she might have given off the natural bridal appearance due to the traditional white dress. On the ticket she had received by owl, it had stated that the dress code was red, pink, and/or white. Elira wasn't in the mood for red, she despised having to wear large amounts of pink, so white was the only other option. A simple, minimalistic color, but still elegant in its own way. Just like her.
Elira carefully tied up a section of her hair with a thin white bow at the back of her head, her thick brown hair cascading down her back like a waterfall. She sighed, closing her eyes and prodding herself in her high cheekbones, before looking at her reflection in her mirror. Satisfied with her appearance, she took up her small black handbag and wand, before she left the room.
As she walked up the moving flights of stairs to the fourth floor, she wondered who was going to be there. what the whole experience would be like. Elira hadn't gotten herself a date, and was planning to go with her friend, but then decided she'd rock it solo.
'here goes nothing.' she thought, and walked through the door of the ballroom. She had arrived five minutes in, which was still fairly early, but the guests were coming in bit by bit. The room itself was definitely decorated perfectly for the occasion: candles everywhere, pink and white lanterns hanging from the ceiling, paths scattered with rose petals.. it was beautiful.
Looking to her left, Elira spotted a small table, supplied with colored yarn, ink bottles, quills, and parchment, and a little further along the wall a long buffet table, decorated with a red lacey and silk tablecloth, red, pink, white flowers and silver candlesticks with candles. From where she stood, she could see that the beverages and food supposedly matched the event itself as well. Along with the invitation, she had been owled a menu, and in her opinion, the food they chose sounded great, and so did the beverages and heart-shaped desserts.
To the right, there was a large heart-shaped piñata covered in color-themed roses, with sticks already prepped beside it. Walking into the room a little further, Elira noticed that at the far end of the ballroom, stood a large, white tree, heavily decorated with white strings of lights, small white, pink and red lanterns hanging from its branches. Last but not least (from what Elira could see), was a Kiss Booth, and Elira mentally face-palmed at the idea with a small chuckle. That was a little weird, in her opinion, but kinda sweet nonetheless.
A girl stood near the entrance, greeting people as they arrived. A girl familiar to Elira as Irina, from the Malfoy Dorm meeting. She seemed like a sweetheart, so off Elira went in her direction to greet her.
"Hey, Irina, happy valentine's day, you look gorgeous. I love how you decorated the ballroom, you did a great job!" she said kindly with a smile. "did you manage to get yourself a dance partner? i was planning to go with Duvessa as friends, but.." she's gone inactive
