Astronomy! She used to romanticise astronomy and the stars a lot when she was younger and that lead to her first interest in it. It also became a sort of coping mechanism for her after her friend Alexa's death - she got permission go go in the Astronomy Tower out of lesson times and had this notebook she just wrote down loads of information about Astronomy-related things in.
