Why Can`t Enemies be Friends?
It was the afternoon of Feb 1st, 2022, and as the date for the Spring Quidditch Match against Slytherin, Feb 5th, was coming near, as soon as the afternoon lesson finished, Rita went straight to the Quidditch Training Pitch. Rita was definitely excited for the race, but to be honest, when she thought about that match, it brought her more fear for her rather than excitement. Besides the snakes' Quidditch team "Cloud Cobras" having a reputation being an extremely strong, nimble, and cunning team with their expensive brooms and more experienced players than a beginner on the broom like Rita, who had joined a team a few months ago and had only played one much and despite the fear of being knocked down in the round like the last fall Quidditch team, as well as the fear of not training enough, there was one more thing that really scared the Second Year Hufflepuff beater, that new person from the First-String Chaser list, the one and only, Clark William Baird-Carter.
Rita`s previous interactions with Clark had been nothing but upsetting. The Second Year Hufflepuff had never met anyone that unmannered and trouble seeking. Throwing fish all over the place in the Badger Bungalow dorm, stomping on Rita`s feet, throwing dragon dung all over the wall of the corridors, and lying about all the things he did. That was just unbearable. The black-haired Hufflepuff was a natural conflict-avoidant type, and she actually wanted to form a good relationship with her house mates, but Clark was just someone she could not stand and could never understand, at least that was what she thought at present.
However, now they were in the SAME Quidditch team! And they were supposed to helping each other and working together as the whole Hufflepuff Quidditch team for their whole team to win the Quidditch match! The Hufflepuff beater knew by heart that if they keep disliking each other and causing conflicts instead of working together, the Hufflepuff team would definitely lose the Quidditch match. However, the Hufflepuff just could not imagine working together with Clark. It was a battle between personal feelings and the team`s benefit, and Rita really did not know what she should do when she entered the Quidditch Training Pitch to train with the other team members, including Clark.
"But maybe there is a good side of Clark that I have not seen. Like maybe he is quite tough on the broom. I`ve only met him twice anyway, and my opinions may change. Who knows, let me just focus on the Quidditch practice for now, I don`t wanna let the team down." With mixed feelings and her nimbus 1700 broom, the Second Year Hufflepuff beater entered the Quidditch training pitch, preparing for another Quidditch training session.

Why Can`t Enemies be Friends?
He took off running from his dormitory to the Quidditch Training Pitch to practice what he needed to for Quidditch in the upcoming days. He always thought he'd be a duellist but never a quidditch player. Never really imagined himself sitting on a broom and zooming around.
And now he was a Chaser- what do they do? Everyone knows a seeker just really seeks for the golden snitch- but a CHASER? was he supposed to chase someone?
Ugh, and he had to practice to perhaps understand it a little better than he did in the past few weeks of being on the team.
He screamed on his way into the greening area- "THE HOME THAT CURSED US ON AND ON- wait." He thought for a moment. "Wait, I'd be a king on the field!"
He took a deep breath then yelled again, "I'M BORN TO BE A KING! I'M THE PRINCE OF THE UNIVERSE! LOVE ME! LOVE ME! I'M FANTASTIC! JUST LOVE ME!"
He got onto his broom and kicked off, ready to zoom around for a bit to try and understand what to do. What actions to perform. How to help Hufflepuff in every way possible, even if the future seems bleak.

Rita was just mounting on her broom and preparing to ascend into the sky when the Hufflepuff heard a familiar voice screaming on the Quidditch fields. "Wait, isn`t that Clark? Why is he yelling like a 5-year-old like that? Getting too excited for Quidditch practice? Hopefully, he does not cause any trouble this time and we can have a quite successful Quidditch practice session." The Second Year Hufflepuff beater thought as she was gradually ascending into the sky.
"Hey, Clark! Can`t believe we are teammates now! Anyway, stop yelling like a 5-year-old and quickly get on your broom so we can start practice! You know the winter match is coming very soon and it is no jokes!" The Second Year Hufflepuff called up in the sky.
Luckily, it seemed that Clark knew what to do this time, as he stopped yelling and got onto his broom, preparing to ascend. Despite being really unmannered and always causing all kinds of trouble, it seemed that at least the first-string chaser cared about how much this official march matters to their house and had decided to get serious about the Quidditch business.
"Well, Clark, you are finally doing something sensible at this point. I suppose you know how much this upcoming official march matters to our house, so let get on with the practice! I think I would practice striking the Bludgers and you can practice the Quaffle grab! You know we would try our best and prove that the Hufflepuff Quidditch team is definitely a huge threat that the other teams should not overlook!" The Second Year Hufflepuff called with excitement for the Quidditch match and her strong will to bring Hufflepuff a Quidditch win and bring glory to their house. Anyway, the Second Year beater then quickly picked up her beater`s bat and the quite heavy Bludgers, and start to practice for the real match in a few days.
