A break from the routine. Thrilling! The day didn't start out as smoothly as any other day. In the morning, when her day barely began, when her eyes weren't even fully open, the young girl managed to madden people. That too was not even an attempt to provoke! Blimey!

The loud thump of the coffee cup didn't go unremarked by Adya. Neither did she fail to grasp the emotion of the other Slytherin. Clicking her tongue at the other first year, who she remembered from the sorting ceremony, "Careful honey, considering how hot it could be, we don't need another injury, do we?", as she forced a soft edge to her voice, staring straight into her eyes.

What's wrong with people nowadays? Getting mad for silly reasons? Wasn't she just stating the fact? Uhm- served with the pinch of lie. The spirit animal joke wasn't taken to heart. Well, any joke aimed at her never did. Nonetheless, it reminded her of her sister. Adya sighed as she rubbed her eyes. Seriously?! What's wrong with her after returning to school? Random people's random behaviour reminded her of her siblings at most random times.

Adya had her lips quirked up a little on a side as the prefect's welcoming words entered her ears. Followed by that was the hot head's shower of sweet words. Did the girl think her threatening look might hold an effect on Adya? If so, she was merely delusional. There's only one thing that scares Adya - No, Maybe two- three- whatever! It's limited to a few and those don't include threats from strangers.

A fake afeared mock look plastered on her face deepened with every word the brunette uttered. And there was the older boy complimenting on- Exactly what? There was something off. Was he really trying to help the prefect? Her eyes scrunched a little as her mind strove to discern his motive.

Once they all were done with their heartful speech, Adya let out a long exhale. "First of all, thanks Prefect, so nice that you allowed me to take a seat on the school's property," before she took the last bite of the apple ( Yes, all along she's been having fruits). In her defence, nobody sat on it and the empty space seemed like it craved her presence.

Two of her fingers flicking up to count, "Second of all, Adya Emerald Oakes, First year, Slytherin, Mu- muggle born-" Nah, She should've skipped the last part, shouldn't she? "Did I miss anything for my identity document?" her voice remained soft except for the muggle-born part.

"Third of all, Relax honey for your own good, you're too young for hypertension, don't you think?-" as she clicked her tongue again with a pitiful look on her face."- Fourth of all, what's going to happen from shutting my mouth when it's not even me who's spreading the rumor?" At this point, her face was empty with no reaction.

There are so many rumors out there and none of it was caused by Adya. Her curiosity to know the truth brought her here. Seriously, what are they going to do about the hundreds and hundreds of mouths there? Request each person to shut their mouth? Moreover, for some reason, the brunette seems highly bothered about it.

Glancing between the brunette and the boy beside the prefect, "All I did was stating what I've heard- Confidence and sharp tongue? why would they need it for venting out on a defenceless child?" as she rolled her eyes. "-It's like they both are convincing people to believe their lies," Adya made another attempt to bring out the truth. Just then Bailey, the host of the Christmas party she attended made her way to talk to the brunette. Adya was able to read the worry on her face but sadly couldn't hear it.

Irina seemed to be even more tired and stressed out when she didn’t say anything back to Violet. Vee decided to not say anything about it yet as she understood and was just..so hungry. So she decided to start with some fruits and coffee instead, even though starting with fruits didn’t seem like the best breakfast idea to her.

However, silence is a thing that bothers Vee but as she was thinking about what to do they both heard a voice calling them. "SOUSA!" Violet got slightly startled by the prefect’s sudden voice. “And whoever you are, come closer" And now they were calling her too..

So there was no other choice than both of them sitting across the slytherin prefect now. Violet was already feeling uncomfortable for some reason but in the corner of her eye she noticed Ree was looking even more uncomfortable, which actually made total sense as they were probably called to talk about the current events in the Slytherin common room and Irina was there when it all started..

"Did you guys eat anything yet?"

Now, Violet didn’t know the prefect very well but the way they acted somehow sounded odd. They always seemed more of a stern person rather than friendly like this. The way Irina reacted to that question would be enough proof. "Please eat something before classes started,If the meal in front of you was not up parred to with your taste, I could ask the house elves to make something else for you or I could make it for both of you whatever you wanted as your breakfast". Vee felt speechless, so she just quickly glanced at her friend and they both shared a similar look.

"Seriously, please eat" Prefect continued.

In response, Irina cleared her throat, thanked her and said she’ll have some fruit and coffee. “Uh-yeah, me too” Violet agreed and continued to eat, but this time she was feeling less hungry.

Fortunately, perhaps also unfortunately, some other first year slytherin student sat next to Ironwoods. "Good morning-Oh sorry, this isn't the morning that can be referred as good, I heard someone was stabbed in our house-" Stabbed? That didn’t exactly happen, Vee raised an eyebrow at the student, she also sounded fake with her behaviour. You can say Violet is good at seeing insincerity. "I can't believe something like this has happened, I hope he would get well soon"

She was about to reply until their prefect uttered the other first year to sit down sarcastically.
"Second, I haven't got your name,"Cash looked at Violet straight in her eyes, causing her to feel startled again, she didn’t like to feel that at all. “Oh, my name is Violet Grace” she replied without stuttering. Awesome.

"And lastly, no one got stabbed, right, Sousa”

However, instead of just correcting the ‘someone got stabbed’ fact Irina put down her coffee with strong force in response to the other first year.

"You should keep your mouth shut if you don't know what you're talking about! Is not because you try to make things look worse that you look more interesting, you know?" She smirked mischievously. Violet never saw her friend so angry that she even got surprised. But the other first year didn’t seem affected one bit as she replied back with sarcastic points. Vee now felt certain that she was acting fake-concerned indeed as she looked at the black haired girl with kind-of-angry face.

“Coffee, hm? Whats a kid like you doing drinking that? Having trouble sleeping like Ironwoods, here?” The dark haired boy seated beside Cash finally spoke. Irina had never met the boy and judging by his features he must be in the same year as Cash or at least he was definitely older then her. "I always enjoy my coffee in the morning!" She replied dryly at him, and why not? He was not a prefect and certainly was trying to mess with her, "And if you didn't woke up last night you must have a problem with your audition! literately a wall exploded inside our Common Room!" The girl argued with him. Honestly, what's his problem? She thought glancing a suspicious look at him.

A few moments later another first year Slytherin arrived and started to make another series of silly questions. If not for being so close to Cash she would had answered her sooner, but she didn't wanted to be in the wrong side of Cash's temper again, she had enough of it two nights ago and was still waiting for her detention. But the older prefect decided that was a good idea to include Rina in the conversation. Again the curly-haired girl felt surprise with her older teammate, but the look they had thrown at her made her realize that the wisest decision was to support their statement about the last events. Not that that was a burden, since the other first year that she didn't yet knew the name, was messing already with her nerves. "Careful honey, considering how hot it could be, we don't need another injury, do we?" She had said after Rina put down her coffee cup on the table with a little more violence then what was needed. But seriously, how dared she talk about such a serious subject with such lightness and careless. "There's no one injured. Less we are talking about your brain!" Irina said in a mutter, looking at the girl like she wanted to punch her in the face. But the girl seemed indifferent to her words and kept retorting to Cash. Was she mental? Or really just brainless? Did she not knew with who she was talking too?

"Third of all, Relax honey for your own good, you're too young for hypertension, don't you think?-" Adya said now turning her attention towards Rina again making an irritating sound with her tongue and a fake expression of concern, "Fourth of all, what's going to happen from shutting my mouth when it's not even me who's spreading the rumor?" She finished asking. "Then who is spreading the rumors?" Irina spat but keeping her voice level controlled, she didn't wanted to cause a scene in front of the entire school, but Adya was getting under her skin. "People like you, that don't know a thing should keep quite and listen before speaking nonsense comments!" She said assertively.

“Sharp tongue you got there, hm? No wonder you two seem so close" The dark haired boy stated again. Irina noticed the emphasis he gave to the word 'sharp' and she felt annoyance, at least an older student could had more common sense! "Close to who?" Rina asked in a moment of confusion, but then understood he was talking about Cash, "Oh!" She exclaimed in surprise, but didn't dared saying anything more when the boy kept talking, “Confident too. Like you know what you’re talking about. Seems like there's no other choice but to believe you two" Irina didn't felt inclined in believing him back though. "All I did was stating what I've heard- Confidence and sharp tongue? why would they need it for venting out on a defenseless child?" Adya replied rolling her eyes, "And where did you heard it?" Irina said getting bored with all the girl said, "You're a Slytherin are you not? At least have some decency in defending your house!" Irina stated in a murmur as she finally took a sip of her coffee. "It's like they both are convincing people to believe their lies," Adya continued. Okay, that was it! Now she was daring to call her a liar? "Listen Adya" She started, leaning slightly on the table so she could be a little closer to the girl,"No one got injured, okay? Ava tried to kill Luci with a knife but he woke up on time!" She informed, her voice was calm but was contrasting with the storm in her eyes, "Headmaster and Professor Jensen heard the screams and got there in no time. Everything was solved, end of story! Unless, by any chance, you're saying that Headmaster Lear and our Head of House wouldn't be competent enough to take care of the whole situation?" Irina asked with a daring look staring at the other first year in front of her.

The words had just left her lips when she felt someone touching her shoulder and so she looked up to see who was it. A smile formed in her lips when she saw it was Bailey Glade, her sweet and kind Ravenclaw friend. "heyy could i talk to you?" Bailey asked her. "Of course Bai!" She nicely replied getting up from the wooden bench and following the older girl to a more private space, some few steps from the Slytherin table. "is everything alright? i keep hearing people whispering about a were wolf and a knife, and someone getting stabbed, someone in Slytherin - who was it, are they ok? are you ok?" The blond girl asked her with concern. Irina knew her friend hadn't asked it with a bad intention, but she had tensed immediately at hearing the word werewolf. What the hell were people talking? Does everyone knew about them now? "I...Yeah...everything is alright Bai!" Irina started shyly stumbling a little in her words, "It was Ava...Ava Winchect? She got a knife from Thorn Cullen and wanted to kill Lucian in his sleep. She...she wanted to kill him because..." Here she fought to find the right words. Would she tell her? How would she react to it? Did she already knew about Colin at least? "because he's a wolf..." She said in a whisper leaning at Bailey's ear, so she would be the only one listening, "And yes," She continued straightening and in a normal tone of voice, "I'm okay! No one got hurt really! The only person with who I'm concern with is Colin...Headmaster seemed to find something odd with him...I still haven't seen my brother today!" Rina said with concern to Bailey.

Rita knew there was something going on in the chaotic snakes` dorms, but she did not know the exact situation. Nearly all of the students in Hogwarts were gossiping about things like "knives", "murder", "werewolves", and even the use of that m-word, something must be wrong. Honestly it did not seem like something a sweet little badger like Rita should be involved with. She did not want to hurt herself or get into any kind of trouble. But she just could not resist knowing more about the drama and gossip around Hogwarts. So, when the Second Year Hufflepuff arrived at the great hall for breakfast that day, she immediately walked closer to the corner when a group of people were obviously gossiping about the snake dorm incident last night after picking up some food to eat.

When Rita arrived at the corner, the black-haired Hufflepuff found out there were already 7 people there. Most of them are snakes, which was quite understandable since it happened in the snake dorm. Besides her friend Irina and Bailey, there was the snake prefect Cash, who obviously did not sleep well due to the thing happened last night. There was also Hanako Tone, which Rita remembered from the truth or dare game of the summer camp, Violet Grace, that mischief-causing girl who flew on a broom without anyone watching and hurt herself the other day, that boy who moderated the fall ball, and another snake girl who Rita would later know from the Unity errand called Adya Oakes. Quite a few people there, but no badgers. The Second Year Hufflepuff debated internally for a while whether she should get involved or not, and decided that maybe a little gossip would not hurt as long as she stayed politely.

"Oh, sorry to disturb all of you from your discussion. I am just wondering if I can sit beside you and join your group. I just constantly heard that there was something going on in the snake dorm, and there were even the mention of knives and murder, so is everyone OK? I know some of you must have worked hard to settle the drama last night, so I am just making sure everyone is doing fine. If you don`t want me here, I will just leave, it`s OK, maybe I should not get involved with the snakes business." The Second Year Hufflepuff finally said something politely with a friendly smile, hoping the group would not be mad at her.

House Colours: Slytherin
Feeding Figaro some bacon on his lap, Piérre collected as much information as he could get from all the different parties that were around him; this was made a bit more difficult when the Prefect so cleverly claimed that "nothing had happened, right?" and that in and of itself was almost enough to encourage the boy to break his silent cover and to challenge the claim outright. Moving in brashly yet surgically so that he could cut away the mists and the lies that were laying heavily in the area. Cunningly refuting and challenging all that was said so as to force the girl to become trapped in a web of her own design; strangling her until the truth had to be choked out.

That was the rule of reporting, correct? Surely that was the way that all media came across good news. Squeezing blood from rocks and the like.

Regardless, Piérre was more than willing to play the little game; he loved games. He found that regardless of if he won or lost, he always somehow ended up way farther ahead than when he had started. Let's collect some facts, shall we? That always seemed to be a good idea...

The Prefect seemed highly uncomfortable in the presence of the very 'chipper' boy who she had named as 'Tone'. Perhaps it would be more apt to call him 'Tone-deaf' to social conducts and the proper way to interface in a more subtle way. Judging by her desire to quickly quash any questions related to the rumor, Piérre could only guess that she was following the code of staff to encourage the student body not to panic. However, that plan could only have a downfall. People didn't stay quiet. People always wanted to figure out the truth, and people were going to talk. People always talked, and perhaps that was the one thing that Piérre could commiserate with Tone over; at least he knew something was up, and at least he was not letting it go as a 'fluke' or an 'incident' to be covered up.

The other girl (@Irina Sousa) concurred with the Prefect, which caused an edge of a smile to dance upon the corners of the boy's lips. Ah yes, another person who knew a bit more than they probably should have. Piérre could relate; it was a mystery to him as to how he was still alive and left unquestioned by so many people after everything he had heard and even some of the things he had experienced at this school firsthand himself. He was quite the secret-keeper, to be honest, and unless grilled he never planned on revealing them in the broad light of day. Fine then, agree and go along with the lies; don't confront them face on, don't find allies... stand alone, and fall alone, you fool.

Another girl in pastel colors (@Bailey Glade) sidled up alongside the table as well, which caused Piérre to give an evil side eye so that he could stick with his 'aloof' persona. She was speaking with that first girl, and it seemed as if she had some worries. What over, Piérre could only guess. Maybe he could listen in, or at least try to listen to as much as he could (he would not hear the whispered words, as per OOC rulings)... However, the boy did learn something new; evidently the attempted victim of the said stabbing was an alleged werewolf.

Now wasn't that interesting? The target of a terrorist attack was someone of mixed-blood/cursed blood nature. Now where in the world had he heard of that sort of thing before, SCAR?

That loudmouth girl (@Adya Oakes) seemed to be more of a gossip than a fact-checker. While grateful that he had a lead though her, Piérre was going to make sure that he took her words with a grain of salt, or that he would actually fact-check his references and cross-reference the news so that he could get as accurate a fact as possible. His emerald eyes flicked to her narrowly.

But after all this, this tension riled up into a rousing speech by the girl that had attracted the pastel girl... as well as a Hufflepuff girl (@Rita Su) that had decided that it was a good idea to walk right up and act like this sort of thing was completely normal to talk about. And now they were getting to the meat of the matter, Piérre grinned. A boy named Lucian Mornstern almost stabbed by an Ava Windchet who had been armed by Thorn Cullen... Goodness, Piérre loved names; they held such power... wait a moment...

Didn't he know that boy; this Lucien Mornstern? Yes... the fall of last year; during a little sledding event that he had been a part of when the foreign students had surfed on shields down the Hogwarts stairwell. Combined with prior knowledge, that a person had tried to stab a wolf... surely that meant then, that Lucien was a werewolf? At least, this is where the facts were paving a road towards. The more that people agreed, though, the more that the boy would learn; and boy did he love to learn.

Figaro mewed on his lap, and Piérre fed him a small piece of sausage with some cheese on it. With a (slightly louder than average) sigh, the boy rolled his eyes. This was the time for him to speak, to become an active member of the conversation. With a bored ruffling of his hair in a way that only slightly mussed the slicked look just enough to cover up his pointed stahl's ear, Piérre fixed a glass-like gaze on all the bickering parties and slipped comfortably into a mimicked British accent that had been formulated from almost a decade of living in a foreign country. "Enough with the bickering, my God you'd think we're all gossiping midwives." Piérre chuckled through his words. "Kid almost gets stabbed in our own damn common room and you all have the gall to try and pretend that it didn't happen. You already know the school's chattier than a line of starlings. How long do you think it'll be until misinformation gets spread around?" He leaned back ever so slightly and stretched his arms back as far as he could, revealing the Slytherin-green inseam of his clothing; work that he had done himself due to his proficiencies with needle and thread.

"Personally, I'd be more concerned about trying to spread the right story as opposed to trying to pretend that the story never happened." He spoke musingly, inspected his cuticles on the table quickly before leaning in on his elbows. "Get your heads out your arses, smell the coffee if you'd pardon my turn of phrase, and let's get the story straight so that we can tell the right story in case we get questioned (as I'm more than certain we eventually will be)."

He raised his eyebrows and flourished his hands in a 'sue me' gesture. "Hm? Let's use our brains for a second, can we? What, based on the actual story, would make sense to spread that is more of a... let's just say... a half-truth that pays the bills, if we really are interested in protecting the integrity of our house." He shrugged. "Or, if not, do tell how you plan on covering up the fact that the school is spreading rumors more rapidly than anyone could ever hope to quash them." So saying, the boy leaned forward and interested himself in a glass of whole milk while waiting for the (obvious) fireworks to start lighting up around him in response to his words.

Either they would see the cunning in his words, would question his presence, or would outright challenge him...

Either way you cut it, the boy would end up laughing in the end. Somehow, Piérre always did...

As Cssh waiting for Tone to answered their question, the took a bite ot of their breakfast and sipped on their coffee. Coffee should have been alerted and awakened the drinker, right? But no matter how much coffee had entered Cash's system, the result was still the same. The same exhaustion and tiredness still lingered on the back of their mind.

Then Tone finally opened his mouth to answer Cash's earlier inquiry. “Like.. a normal teenager?“The boy asked and the Beater nodded their head. The fourth year looked down at their plate and although their breakfast was almost half empty, their appetite was suddenly lost. The breakfast still looks and tastes good, though.

But suddenly they were not so hungry anymore but since their parents taught them not to waste any meal that was on their plate, Cash pushed through. “What are you even trying to get from that question? Do you want tips on how to deal with it? I’m not giving to you for free if that's what you’re really asking“ Hanako added some more.

Cash chewed down on their scrambled egg and their eyes looked at the boy seated next to them but gave enough space between them. Cash shrugs their shoulder. "I just ask you what your opinion on that matter, dwarf! No need to get so snippy about it,"Cash took a sip of their coffee but realize the cup is empty.

If they pour out another black liquid into the cup, Cash surely can't sleep tonight. So they opted to change their beverage to a lighter liquid. Then Sousa along with her company bounded towards their part of the table. Both of the girls grab a plate of fruit and coffee. Cash raised their eyebrows at the girl's choice of drinks but did not voice their concern.

If they wanted to destroy their growth system, then it was their business since Cash was not so different from both of the girls. However, Tone voiced Cash's concern. “Coffee, hm? What's a kid like you doing drinking that? Having trouble sleeping like Ironwoods, here~?"Tone said in either a mocking tone or something else Cash's jumbled mind could not decipher.

Cash poured out some orange juice and took a sip from the tall glass. "Let them be, Tone"The Beater stated. At this point, Cash knew their uncharacteristically kind and nice behavior did not escape the three Slytherins that were seated around them and Cash did not care about their opinion. Then a new girl came and spewed nonsense.

Cash was surprised by Sousa's outburst and she also had name-called the new girl who was more or less in the same year as the curly-haired girl. "Hey now! no need to name-called,"Cash rebuked the first-year but it seems their soft chastise fell on deaf ears. Sousa and Oakes still bantering and Cash could not help but sigh.

Today was too much for Cash. With the bickering happening around them, Cash felt like they got over-sensory with their surrounding. As Sousa and Oakes still had their word fight, Tone chipped in to make the matter slightly worst than before. Cash wanted to shout but they did not have the capacity or energy to do so.

Their anger had been spent for the last two days dealing with the nonsense that happened in both the boys' and girls' dorms back at the Slytherin house. The more Oakes egged Sousa on, the more the curly-haired girl got riled up. Then Cash found out the chirpy girl name Adya from the other first-year.

Sousa had called the girl's name like the dark-haired name is poison to Sousa's mouth. " No one got injured, okay? Ava tried to kill Luci with a knife but he woke up on time!"Sousa spitted out. Cash turned their head and their eyes widened. They had tried hard to conceal the victim's name but here they are listening to Sousa saying Mornstern's name out in the open.

"Headmaster and Professor Jensen heard the screams and got there in no time. Everything was solved, end of story! Unless, by any chance, you're saying that Headmaster Lear and our Head of House wouldn't be competent enough to take care of the whole situation?"She continued. Cash shook their head. It becomes too much of a mess.

And since Sousa already informed some truth about the incident, Cash had no other choice but to listen to the girl. It was no use to cover up the matter anymore. Even if Cash tried to cover up what happened last night and the night before that, it was a futile attempt. The young Ironwoods then massage the bridge of the nose.

Their impending headache slowly assaults them. And when things could not get any worse, Bailey Glade bounded to the Slytherin table. But at least the Ravenclaw had some decency by dragging Sousa a bit far away from the table to talk about the matter. Cash did not know what both Glade and Sousa talk about.

But since Sousa's had an unfiltered mouth, they only can assume that Sousa had told Glade the whole summary of last night's incident. With a worried glance and stare they took rapted attention to both Glade and Sousa's interaction. With what was going on around them, Cash's breakfast lay forgotten.

Then another voice entered the mix. Good grief! This whole thing is like a moth drawn to a flame, Cash thought to themselves. Not so far from them, Rita Su inserted herself politely. "Oh, sorry to disturb all of you from your discussion. I am just wondering if I can sit beside you and join your group,"She said.

"I just constantly heard that there was something going on in the snake dorm, and there was even the mention of knives and murder, so is everyone OK? I know some of you must have worked hard to settle the drama last night, so I am just making sure everyone is doing fine. If you don`t want me here, I will just leave, it`s OK, maybe I should not get involved with the snakes business."Rambled the badger.

Cash took a deep breath. At this rate, how someone could casually say knives and murder in one sentence is beyond them. But still, Cash pursed their lips. They had an internal battle within themselves whether just unveiling the whole truth or waiting for Sousa to come back and fight their battle.

It was not fair for the curly-haired girl but Cash had no intention to open up their mouth except to just finished their breakfast that already run cold some hours ago. "No, no, it's okay,"Cash addressed to the bespectacled Hufflepuff. "Come join us!"Cash really wanted to facepalm. The coffee and the tiredness that they had to endure during this whole conversation made them question their own sanity.

Cash then chewed down the last remnant of their breakfast. "Defined okay?'They rhetorically said to Su. "But thank you for your concern. I greatly appreciated it,"They continued some more. Where Cash thought the drama ended there, someone proved them wrong. Enter one Piérre Marchonné. Cash did not pay much attention to his rambling.

But from the tone he was using, he was up to no good. And Cash, for once, wanted to just dig a hole and hide there. Still, Cash would not let Piérre bother them that much. With head held high and a pompous sniff, Cash's green eyes landed on the familiar Gryffindor boy. "Do tell me, what is your intention with all the things you spew on?"They asked and took a sip of their orange juice as a way to challenge the other boy.

Rita listened as the boy who monitors the fall ball began to give a speech about getting the whole story right instead of trying to cover up the truths, since the rumors travel way faster than winds and he did not want the whole school to get misinformation about the things happened in the snake dorms, since it was definitely quite serious. "Those words themselves make sense, but that boy is just lecturing everyone else about that instead of himself actually talking about the real stuff. We come here to know what really happened in the snake dorms, not to hear someone lecturing everyone else, we got the professor to do that." The black-haired Hufflepuff thought with some anger as she was listening to the boy`s speech while taking a bite of the baked French toast on her hands.

Then, it was the snake prefect, Cash, who opened their mouth to speak. The obviously exhausted prefect did not talk much, but fortunately they did not mind Rita joining in the gossip. Like Rita, Cash was also not very pleasant with the boy`s lecturing as the Slytherin prefect asked the boy`s intention of his words that was seen as meaningless to the Second Year Hufflepuff while taking a sip of their juice.

After taking a final bite of her French toast, Rita finally opened her mouth to speak, "Thank you for your nice words, Cash. I guess I may just listen to the rest of you speak while having my breakfast since I know nothing about what really happened in the snakes` dorms."

Rita then turned to the boy who gave that meaningless lecture and said with a little anger, "As for you, we are not here to listen to you lecturing to us, we got the professors to do that. I don`t want to sound mean but why don`t you provide some true information about the snake dorm drama yourself instead of lecturing everyone else?" The Second Year Hufflepuff stared the trash-talking boy with her dark brown eyes for a short while to show her unpleasantness of his meaningless speech, then continued to eat her breakfast while waiting to hear more gossip and meat from the group, believing they definitely knew what was real going on in the snake dorm but was just not willing to express that since almost all of them were from Slytherin and were probably involved or had witnessed the accident.

Why is the hot headed brunette speaking as though her brain doesn't work? Or is it really not working? Adya rolled her eyes with a slight shake of her head at the girl's inquiry about the gossipers. "You think I have the name list of everybody in this school?-" Adya placed her forearms on the table as she leaned forward, " - Or come on honey, let's go for a walk, I'll point out the faces so you can burn them with your glare" she snorted.

Keeping her voice as soft as she could, "Since you seem to know everything, why exactly people like me should keep their mouths shut? And what is so beneficial about keeping our mouth shut?" She pushed off the bench, straightening. Wouldn't people's imagination be driven to the next level if they intend to keep it all to themselves? Of course, it's none of her concern. But still, wouldn't everything turn messier?

Adya bit down the urge to laugh out loud at her remark about not defending her own house. Signing, "Aiyo! Literal meaning- Oh dearsomebody help this child...-" at this point Adya found this girl pathetic. Is she so much affected by the incident that her mind seems to twist the meaning? Waving her hands around "Are you even listening? The words are spreading throughout the castle like hellfire, Literally, everybody is talking about it and why would you bring decency in defending my house out of the blue" Adya palmed her face to hide her amused chuckle.

The brunette leaned forward with a supposedly intimidating look as she explained the last night's situation. Her dark eyes darted between the prefect's and the hot head's face with every word uttered. The expression of the prefect cleared the doubt. It is indeed true in case they're too glum to put on an act. Whoa whoa whoa! Adya had to zip her lips shut together when the girl brought up the headmaster and Professor Jensen. What if someday the brunette claims to have heard 'They are competent to handle the situation'from Adya?

There were a bunch of questions running inside her mind. How? Why? Exactly for what? There came a Hufflepuff girl, joining the round table conference. It grew visibly evident that she wouldn't be able to dig any deeper. A boy emerged out of nowhere all of a sudden advising them what and what not to do. Adya stood up and took a long gulp of water before looking the boy up to down, "At least we weren't eavesdropping like somebody..." before she walked away to get some fresh air.

Bailey was concerned to say the least. Despite this, a smile happened upon her face when irina turned to face her, and the same happened to Rina. Rina followed bailey a few steps away from the Snek table, for some privacy. Once there, bailey asked her burning question - is everything alright? i keep hearing people whispering about a were wolf and a knife, and someone getting stabbed, someone in Slytherin - who was it, are they ok? are you ok?"
Bailey was worried, and was hoping that no one she knew or cared about was hurt.
Irina seemed to be debating telling her, and bailey hoped she would just so bailey could know that everyone was alright. Irina started, a tad shily, stumbling over her words. She was nervous, and bailey wished she could do something to comfort the girl.
"Ava Winchet? she seemed like a nice enough girl i thought... Thorn did rub me wrong, but why did a first year have a knife..? bailey shook her head. "never mind, that's not what's important. as long as everyone is alright, that's what matters."
bailey smiled softly at irina, and said after ree wispered that luci was a wolf into her ear
"i dont think that changes anything for me, that doesn't matter. though i do think he's the first one im close too..." from that Rina could conclude that bailey did not know about colin. Though perhaps someday luci would clue her in, or @colin mccoire himself would tell her. ree would be able to let both boys know that bailey did not seem to care, becuase bailey actully didn't think this changed anything.
Bailey followed up Rina's saying that no one had been hurt with a smile and with saying "that's good, and im sure that coco is fine. that boy is tough, and we'll find him, and he'll be perfectly alright!"
bailey gave ree a quick hug and with a smile said "you keep me updated, ok? if you need someone to talk to, find me, ok? imma go eat breakfast, and then get to class, but find me if you need ANYTHING!"
The last bit that bailey had said, starting with her mentioning that if Ree needed anyone to talk to, was loud enough to be heard by @Cassandra Ironwoods who had been watching them, as well as the other people who were at the Snek table. Bailey waived at all of the occupants of the table and said "you guys enjoy your breakfasts!!! have a great day!!" with a sunshiny smile. Bailey tossed her hair over her shoulder and made her way to her table to get a bite to eat before her classes started.

House Colours: Slytherin
Of course the Slytherin prefect Cash knew him, Piérre's emerald eyes twinkled with a mixture of mirth and mischief as her attention was dawn towards him. While there was no known history between them, surely his name had been thrown around in the circles of the well-off elite. The mere invocation of his name invited trouble more often than not...

The Hufflepuff girl also seemed willing to bash him for sticking his nose in the business. Piérre respected her for that, to be honest... but at the same time, ouch. "It's only a lecture if you make it that way. Keeping your ear to the ground and then sharing what you hear isn't lecturing; it's informing." He nipped back lightly with a small trill at the edge of his words. He wasn't intending to be rude or mean... but that didn't prevent an edge of odd mystery from clinging to his open-ended observation. "A lot can happen behind closed doors."

Musingly, he sighed and then gradually let his façade fade away. There really wasn't any further reason to hold on to it, to be honest. "And that's why I was so dang curious to hear about all of this straight from the horse's mouth." He narrowed his eyes at the group as he let Figaro off his lap and stood up himself. He shot a look in the retreating girl's direction and gave a faint smile. "In real life, sneaks are everywhere." He shrugged. "I think you all can guess that I'm not a Slytherin, and if you haven't... I take that as credit to my acting. That's not the point."

Piérre started to pick up his things in preparation to leave as well. "The point is that I do know so much about this situation already just by listening in and paying attention to wildfire rumors. In this situation, I represent the unwashed masses I suppose." A grin with a small bow as he held the tray over his head theatrically before righting himself again. "And we all know that loose lips sink ships." He sang. "Soooo... if you don't like the stories that are going around, change them. You're all of the house of the cunning and the clever after all, I have full faith in your abilities to come up with something."

The Britalian shrugged again. "Or else don't complain when rumors and wild tales that you don't like get spread. Then you'll have nobody to blame but yourself, right?"

Clicking his fingers, he called Figaro to climb up his shoulders and wrap about him like a stole. The silver bengal promptly did. "I have no horse in the race, I could care less; I guess you could just call me deathly curious and always up for a quick thrill. Take it or leave it, but..." Of course his words would fall on deaf ears more likely than not. Nobody really liked the Jester beyond that of an aesthetic amusement... "I do leave my two cents and then politely take my leave."

A gentle smile. "Thanks for the fun story hour!"

... but such patterns had been present in the past. And history had shown that it was often the most foolish among them that knew the best. And it was the aristocratic few that refused to listen, resulting in their cataclysmic falls like thousands of Jezebels.

But that wasn't the story that Piérre was interested. His role in this part of the story was over. He knew the truth and now had the ability to act and react accordingly. His tongue was a weapon more powerful than a thousand spells, swords, and any muggle contraption ever conceived. That was good enough for him.
