I'm confused... what do you mean it's different? Kim's pink pygmy puff Puffie is also a pygmy puff? What do you mean it's different because it's for a pygmy puff? Also, I didn't know that there are people on the site with pets with the same name and same breed/kind of pet. I thought that wasn't allowed. Like Hanako has a unique pet name for his snake called Cu Sith. Are you saying someone else could have a snake and call it Cu Sith too?

I'm pretty sure its allowed, because I'm sure there are some pets out there with the name of another one. Anddddd bout Hanako's snake, I mean if someone copied the snakes name it wouldn't be right, but if they thought of it themselves, sure.

But how would you know if they copied the name or thought of it themselves? You wouldn't exactly come out and say you copied it right? I think same names should be allowed for pets but not for the same breed/species or it could get confusing for others. Like let's say Rose is the name of A's pygmy puff. But Rose is also the name of B's owl. That would be fine. But if A's owl was called Rose and B's owl was also called Rose, it could get confusing IC for some people. Thus it should be avoided.
Like if you wanted the same name but someone else had it, you could always do a variation on the name. Like A's owl could be Rose and B's owl could be Rosie. Or something like that.
It's also the reason why clubs should never have the same name too. Let's say a friend (A) wanted you (B) to join their art club "Rose and Thorns" and asked you to join for them. B joins the art club Rose and Thorns. A is like why didn't you join my club? B is like I did! A is like I don't see you having signed up. B is like, "I signed up for the art club, Rose and Thorns." and then A finds out there's another art club called Rose and Thorns but it's not A's art club Rose and Thorns. So it could get confusing.
This is why we have the RP thread called "Club list and registry" where people can look at a list of the active clubs there so they don't make a club with the same name. If clubs could all have the same name and be the same type of thing, there wouldn't be a reason to have the Club List and Registry thread in the first place. Hopefully I was able to explain myself right to get the point across?

There are a lot of players and therefore a lot of pets - there's no rule against having the same pet name as somebody else.
I voted for Mia, I think it's a really pretty name
