In the last two days, the Prefect can barely sleep. After they handle what happened in the Girls' dorm (alongside two other Prefects), it seems on the next day - in the middle of ungodly freaking witching hours -, the drama did not stop there. They just want to sleep in peace but it seems a group of the first (and second) years decided to create some drama to rob everyone (who was present in the room at that time) of sleep during the break of dawn on January 8.

What happened in the Boys' dorm baffled them. Who in their right mind bring a knife into the school ground and decided to try to plunge it into their own housemate? Try is the key word here although the suspect failed to do so. Upon entering the Great Hall, the young Ironwoods are seated at a random set and table.

They piled some hashbrowns, scrambled eggs, and some slices of bacon as their breakfast menu. The food looks delicious and tantalizing but Cash barely had the energy to chew down their breakfast. Usually, when Cash took their breakfast, the young socialite pours out their favorite tea which is Chamomile.

But not today. Today Cash needs something stronger than an average tea. For the first time in their life, Cash drinks a cup of coffee. The coffee itself wasn't that black and strong. Cash had put a dash of milk and some cube of sugars that was just enough to sweeten their coffee but not too overpowered the taste of the coffee itself.

The smell of the pipping hot coffee hit her nostril but just like some minutes ago, Cash had no energy to consume it. The class barely began and Cash was already exhausted from the last two days which made them sleep-deprived. The Slytherin play with their food and let out a sigh. If their mother knew Cash played with the food, her mother will chastise them.

Their eyes were heavy from the lack of sleep. They tried to stay awake and try to continue eating their breakfast. After an umpteenth time, Cash let out a tired sigh, they force themselves to eat something since breakfast is the most important meal of the day, or what they said. They were not sure how fast the news traveled within the Hogwarts' wall about both incidents that happened two days ago.

But with how many gossip mongers that lived within the castle, Cah was sure some of the students' bodies had heard the tale and had their own speculation. If someone approached Cash during their meal, Cash will ignore them for a bit. If they asked about what truly happened during those nights, Cash will try their best to answer each and every question that whoever throws at them without throwing the suspect or the victim under the bus.

This is an open thread for both Malfoy's First Meeting and Red Moon, Red Knife fiasco that happened within the Slytherin Dorms Link. For all of you that heard the story IC and wanted to clarify their findings or what to know about the drama futher, feel free to interact with Cash.

Gossip was an incredibly powerful thing. And like most things, it has its good sides, and bad. Good side being Hanako could get pretty much any juicy information he wished. Just turn on the correct amount of charm, engage in the topic at hand, and relish in the 5 minute friendship he and the gossiper/s would have. Here for a fun time, not a long time. And it was truly beautiful.

Bad sides of it, he couldn’t escape gossip he wasn’t even remotely interested in. It was exhausting really, to hear the same thing over and over again. All with different opinions and different sorts of stretches to each story. It was so annoying that Hanako couldn’t help but be acutely aware of it. All different variants of the story stuck in his head like an incomplete math problem. Did he care enough to find the truth? Hell no. But did he like pissing Ironwoods off? If they weren’t said to be involved in the rumours, Hanako would have never been this curious about it.

Seeing them stressed and tried at the dining hall, like what sort of friend would he be if he just left them like that? “ Goooooooooooddd mooorrrninnngggggggg~” in contrast to Ironwood’s tired demeanor, Hanako looked as if just the sight of their exhausted state was enough to please him. The slytherin boy stood by their right side, with no indication to sit down. Here for a fun time, not a long time. And with Cash Ironwoods, being here for a long time would result in another punch to the jaw. He assumed from first hand experience. “ My, Ironwoods. You don’t look so good. Are you okay? You looked like you just got 'stabbed' “ Fake concern laced his tone, while he playfully emphasized the word ‘ stabbed ‘. A small smirk soon followed the boy. One very familiar to Ironwoods and they would most likely know what he really was trying to say.

You know, as a fellow Slytherin, it is my utmost pleasure to aid you in any time of need. If you ever wish to vent or complain about something that’s been bothering you, know I’m here “ He politely said to the prefect with an innocent smile. Anyone watching could’ve been fooled by his kindness. Fortunately, Ironwoods knew him enough to see through the act.

Here for a fun time, not a long time. Bug Ironwoods and get good gossip. Sounds like a wonderful way to pass the time.

Her alarm clock sounded that morning like the most painful Cruciatus curse to her brain. Without opening her eyes, Irina fought with her blankets and linen to get to the hideous loud thing at her nightstand. When she finally got able to silent the old clock she took a deep sigh of relief, "Shit!" she muttered in a muffled voice, her face hidden in her pillow. She felt an urge to cry. To cry because she still felt guilty, because she felt shame, because now everyone - or at least many unwanted people - would know about what and who she is, and mostly...because she had to get up from her warm and comfy bad! She wanted to make a tantrum, like a colossal one! Instead, she sighed heavily again and pulled her bed clothes away. She felt instantly cold and desperately felt the need to wrap herself around it again. But, with a lot of effort and dragging herself, she finally got out of her bad heading her wardrobe. Picking her school robes, she finally got dressed in her usual black green and silver. After her normal morning routine, she just looked briefly at the mirror and pulled her hair on a messy curly bun before heading to the Great Hall for breakfast.

Her feet carried her towards the Slytherin table but her eyes were barely open and her mind kept her thinking about last night's events. She almost bumped into several other students on her way, to not mention how many times she had to stop to not bumping into a door frame or a wall. When she finally sat at the wooden bench she had zero appetite for food, so she just pushed her plate away and laid her head on the table closing her eyes. What a nightmare, She thought and ironically this time had been more then a bad dream. “Goooooooooooddd mooorrrninnngggggggg” She heard a voice coming from a few seats away from her. Who was that? How dare someone be in such a good mood in that particular morning? Irina felt grumpy and slightly offended by others good disposition. “My, Ironwoods. You don’t look so good. Are you okay? You looked like you just got 'stabbed' “ The voice continued. Ironwoods? Stabbed? Two words that worked like a counterspell to her numbness. Irina slowly lifted her head from the table and looked towards her right side of the table. Not a few seats from her Cassandra Ironwoods was having their breakfast and an older boy she had never noticed before was talking to her. Was he the source of such heathen good mood? Apparently, judging by the smirk playing in his face! “ You know, as a fellow Slytherin, it is my utmost pleasure to aid you in any time of need. If you ever wish to vent or complain about something that’s been bothering you, know I’m here “ He said to Cash seeming to be one of their friends. Great! Just what I needed! Irina thought sarcastically deciding that was better to continue to keep her silence for now.

What happened last night was different to say the least. To be honest, Violet was still under the effect of it, even though she certainly was not in the middle of the main event during that time, just one of the observers in the Slytherin Common Room.
It was hard to sleep last night after all that happened, she already couldn’t sleep before that but in the end she was barely asleep last night for like what, 3 or 4 hours? She wasn’t feeling awake and energetic at all. After waking up to her alarm, all she wanted to do was to hide under her blankets and just sleep, preferably for a long time.

Unfortunately her hunger got the best of her and she couldn’t pretend she didn’t need to eat anymore. With an annoying sight she forced herself to get out of her warm bed (she could’ve also said comfy and safe but she didn’t really feel that). She also needed to get to her first class for today after all.
There were lots of students in the corridors, most of them on their way to The Great Hall to have their breakfast. She tried her best to not bump into people despite her lack of sleep and sense of orientation, luckily she survived.

On her way to the great hall, she walked towards the slytherin table and saw her friend there. She was alone, and seemed to look at one of the slytherin prefects (who was there in the boy’s dormitory during that eventful night) and another slytherin talking to them.

Violet said “Hi” and sat next to Irina immediately, then looked at today's breakfast menu, which wasn’t her favourite (she either wasn’t a breakfast person or just preferred more sweet stuff with that) but her stomach was growling and she honestly could eat anything right now.

Ever since Adya set her feet in this lovable school, filled with extreme love, especially her own house, there came something day after day to steal her sleep. Mostly it's possessed by her overthinking of all these days ending up as a dream. Someday, her secretly freaking out about whether she'd fail her exams. Another day, she couldn't put her mind off of a boy.

There came yesterday's brawl in the middle of the night, at least it felt like one, emerging from another dormitory block. The one that shook her up from her serene, nightmare-less sleep. The usual drama. What could she expect? Being a Slytherin, she has to put up with it all. How much ever she stained, to force herself back to her goodnight sleep, a ruined sleep was unfixable.

A ton of questions dwelled in her head. Who is it? What happened? Why is it not getting quiet? How much ever she tried, the young girl couldn't pull herself out of her bed. The next day, untypically, Adya got off her dorm room without any reluctance. Rumours are circulating around the school. Each with their own narrative. Some conversing as if they witnessed it all with their eyes. Not sure if they really did so.

Her questions tripled with every single damn minute. Her droopy eyes gazed at the great hall before she stepped in. The tension in the air was clearly visible even with her dull eyes. Yawning heavily from her sleep inertia, Adya walked past one of the Slytherin prefects who seemed so blue at the moment. It was until something struck her mind.

They're Slytherin! They're a prefect! They're older than her! They most likely know the actual happenings of the previous night. And just at the right moment, a boy, probably their friend seemed to provide them with emotional support. How nice! But who cares, all she wants is the story.

"Good morning-" Adya showered her fake pitiful smile on them as she simply walked back to sit on the other side of the prefect. "Oh sorry, this isn't the morning that can be referred as good, I heard someone was stabbed in our house-" Adding her self-made lie might end up being corrected and clarified. It worked with her sisters. "-I can't believe something like this has happened-" No it's believable. "-I hope he would get well soon" her voice laced with concern as she filled her plate with various fruits.

House Colours: Slytherin
A new and titillating rumor was making its rounds, and like any good Jester, the boy had listened in and partaken in his duties as being the one who seemed to know just a little bit of something about just about every thing. Slytherin again, was it? Hm... that house just seemed to be a magnet for misfortune, didn't it? Two of the witnesses were Slytherins, one of which had been killed and the other which was someone or something that Piérre didn't want to associate himself with if he could help it from now on... There were more rumors going about about a Miss M.J. Davenport, rumors ranging from her being a hag to her being someone helping the hags all the way to being a manipulator and being the cause of some students' physical injury or disappearance. Marion Davenport seemed to vanish just as M.J. appeared from what Piérre understood.

It was a poor excuse of an attempt at changing identity, if you asked him. The relationship was terribly obviously present, though just like any sneak, he made no assumptions and he certainly did not spread any of the rumors that he heard. Rather, he made it his task to verify the exact truth... and to only show half his hand if someone questioned him. It had been a subconscious habit; to not seem aloof, but to never fully explain everything he knew. What right had others to pry in his personal matters, after all? He never pried himself, he just asked very precise questions that allowed him to read a room and a person as clearly as any book. If they wanted to give him information, then so be it, but let it be known that the boy had never once threatened anyone for information or had interrogated them beyond their comfort zone. Any information he came across came from passing stories and gossip twined in with first-person accounts willingly shared.

And he was piecing together a very interesting story indeed; a female attacker in the Slytherin dormitory who had attempted to stab a boy with a knife from a collection that had allegedly been smuggled into the school. Of all the details, that last one was the most laughable. Since when had the school cracked down on a weapons policy? Indeed, wands themselves were weapons. Anything could be a weapon if a person tried hard enough, especially one's teeth and nails. Even a butter knife the likes of a Locksmith's Knife that was easily purchased at Hogsmeade could deal serious damage if placed right and if stabbed with enough force, not to mention the sawing capabilities it had. The very concept of a weapon was infinite... and Piérre had quickly made it somewhat of an unfortunate habit to ensure that he could always locate something with him that he could perform self-defense with over the course of the last year.

So, he carried his Locksmith's Knife with him. Consistently, nowadays. He also brought with him his familiar, Figaro. Another ally, another friend. A friend that would not betray him. A friend that stayed loyal to him no matter what happened between them.

Dressed to impress in what Piérre considered to be the "nicer" school uniform complete with black slacks and the uniform overcoat, a green and silver tie was about his throat and his hair was (for once) combed and almost slicked back in a way that caused the piqued points of his ears to become visible. Narrow green eyes glared about the Great Hall's Slytherin table, watching and observing. He was once again a new character, a different person. This was not the Piérre that some knew, but to others in the halls and passerby it was the only Piérre that they knew. Not that they knew him by that name, though. Honestly, the boy's name really depended on whatever fancy he had in the moment.

And, just as if he belonged there all along, he quietly took up a position at the table of the emerald serpents; he belonged there all along, right?

Certainly.

Of course he did.

Chewing slowly and keeping his head relatively lowered, the boy's ears piqued as he picked up trails of words from one of the boys around his age speaking to a Slytherin Prefect and dropping some not-as-subtle-and-or-slick-as-he-thought-he-was puns. Piérre practically rolled his eyes to the back of his head just hearing the kid's intonation. He notoriously despised these types for their pride and arrogance. In fact... it was his duty to put those types in their place, wasn't it?

But he couldn't. Not just yet. He had a job to do. He had to listen. And, if the boy's puns were playing at anything, the Prefect seemed to be one who had a good handle on the situation. Piérre would need to listen to her keenly. She had answers. Answers that Piérre wanted and was going to get, in one way or another. Not daring to raise his eyes, the boy simply pet a curled-up Figaro that was laying in his lap. His heart was racing... this was quite exciting! He wanted to know more, so much more...

Fortunately, patience happened to be one of his strong suits, formed by an unfortunate streak of hyperfixation now and again brought on by his ADHD-like traits. When he wanted something, he would have it. Ambitious, covetous, and willing to do anything for what he wanted to get.

Slytherin.

Keep talking, you three. Nobody is listening, I assure you...
If Applicable, Piérre attempts to use Cat's Grace/Attempts to Stealth
to Overhear conversation without being spotted

Being Prefect was exhausting. They loved being one but the job desk that comes entails, it could be stressful sometimes. The green eyes tried to avoid conflicts. But with how crazy first and second years can be these days, it seems Cash no longer avoids the said dramas. Cash was about to take a bite out of their hashbrown when a shrill annoying voice enter their hearing sense.

Goooooooooooddd mooorrrninnngggggggg~,”Tone said in a way too chirpy with how tired Cash is. Good grief, Merlin!. His vibrant voice feels like one of those hangovers when you know you had too much to drink. The green eyes looked up to the boy who stand on their right. Usually, in the presence of one Hanako Tone, Cash was ready to throw their insult but not today.

Today Cash just wants to finish their breakfast and get on with their day in peace. “My, Ironwoods. You don’t look so good. Are you okay? You looked like you just got 'stabbed' “The boy continued his annoyance. Cash took a deep breath and slowly sipped on their coffee. The bitterness of the coffee was enough to alert them but not enough to chase away their tiredness.

Cash then slowly continued on with their breakfast. Once Cash had gulped down their scrambled egg, their green eyes landed on the boy who still stood on their right side. Cash took another sip of their coffee. "What do you want, Hana?"Cash inquired the boy without any malice that usually laced in their voice. Both of the Slytherins know Cash never called Tone by 'Hanako' let alone 'Hana'.

Maybe Winchect was not the only one that lost their sanity. Perhaps I do too Cash thought to themselves while they picked up one of their strips of bacon and tore it down with their teeth. Cash has never been this nice nor tolerant towards the dwarf (Hanako) but perhaps their tired mind change them for a bit today.

You know, as a fellow Slytherin, it is my utmost pleasure to aid you in any time of need. If you ever wish to vent or complain about something that’s been bothering you, know I’m here“Hanako said with that oversweet voice that makes Cash sick to their stomach. A bystander could see him as caring and worried about a friend but not Cash.

Cash perfectly knows who Tone was and nothing was nice or sweet about the particular boy. The green eyes then scooped up their scrambled eggs. "For the love of whatever deity holy up there, please sit, Tone!"Cash said then looked at the boy expectantly and with the kindness that Tone never saw in Cash.

The green eyes opened and closed their mouth like a fish out of the water. Their head is a jumble of mess and their mind was tired as fuck. Cash took another sip and averted their green eyes from the black liquid to the boy who is either still standing or already seated beside them. "Have you ever felt like you wanted to sleep for days and not care about what going on in this world today?"Asked the Prefect.

Their question is too heavy for this early hour of the morning and Cash blamed their lack of sleep and tired mind. They chewed down slowly and let out a sigh. While waiting for Tone to answer their question, they saw a blurred of curly haired walked past both Cash and Tone. Sousa was accompanied by a blonde - or is it - white-haired girl.

Cash was not sure what color the other girl haired since their mind could think not straight. "SOUSA!"They called out the first-year student. "And whoever you are, come closer"The Prefect commanded. Perhaps Cash's tired mind took control of them and made them act out of their usual character.

But at this point, other companies are better than just being alone with Tone only. Once both of the younger girls are seated either across from them or beside the young Ironwoods, Cash will smile politely toward the two. Again, the polite smile was so not Cash's thing. "Did you guys eat anything yet?"Cash questioned the younger girls.

It was so trivial that if grumpy Cash heard the over-tired Cash, they might laugh at themselves. "Please eat something before classes started,"Suggested the Quidditch player as they pointed towards some of the spread in front of them. "If the meal in front of you was not up parred to with your taste, I could ask the house elves to make something else for you,"They continued.

"Or I could make it for both of you whatever you wanted as your breakfast,'They concluded. Gosh! Cash really is tired. They never cared about anyone besides the ones that they dubbed as their people and here they are offering unknown strangers to cook for both of the girls. "Seriously, please eat"Cash uttered then they continued their breakfast.

The breakfast seems longer than they usually took but Cash was in no rush whatsoever. There was a silence in the room until another voice enter the mix. "Good morning-"The new girl said way too cheerful for Cash's glummy morning. Cash never understand why people could be this happy and light in the morning.

"Oh sorry, this isn't the morning that can be referred to as good, I heard someone was stabbed in our house-"The girl has taken a seat on the other side of the Prefect. Seeing how carefree the new girl is, Cash's green eyes looked at Tone. "Hey, Tone! I think I found your spirit animal,"Cash teased the Severus Snape dorm boy.

"-I can't believe something like this has happened-"Continued the girl. "-I hope he would get well soon"The girl finally stopped rambling as she piled up various fruits into her plate. Cash let out a heavy sigh. They had lost hope that they could finish their breakfast in peace a long time ago, "First of all, please have a seat,"Cash uttered in a sarcastic manner.

But the bite that usually accompanies the snarky comment was less effort than they used to have. "Second, I haven't got your name,"Cash looked at the new girl straight in her eyes. "And lastly, no one got stabbed, right, Sousa?"Cash sends a dagger to Sousa so Sousa plays along with Cash covering up the drama/rumors.
OOC Note
Feel free to counter/rebuke Cash with the drama/rumors that you believe in. I want this to be a somewhat possible-conflict thread. Don't worry, no one will get detention if they have a debate with Cash as long as the other peson did not get physical or throw any spells. But if Cash somehow broke some rules, feel free to report them to another Prefect.

Dialogue: X | Thoughts: X
Rina started to feel the effects from the lack of sleep from the last few nights taking over her. First had been full moon, just to properly start school after winter break. Then, she had the wonderful idea of creating Malfoy's first meeting at her dorm and all had ended in a mess, and has a grand finale everything that happened last night with Ava attempting to pull a Chucky number on Lucian and Thorn as her accomplice. Who in hell has been writing her life lately? She just wanted to went back to her warm and comfy bed and sleep for days. Her body hurt, she had a massive headache and her mood was not getting better hearing people talking at that morning's breakfast about a subject that was particularly sensitive to her.

She was sat there, eyes barely open while she was looking at all the food on the long wooden table but she wasn't hungry, just thinking about eating something made her stomach turn. This day will feel endless...how would she endure a full day with classes when she seemed not being able to function on the most simple of tasks?

"Hi" A familiar voice reached her. Violet Grace, that didn't looked much better then her, was sitting next to her. Irina watched as her friend picked some food and started to have her breakfast. Honestly Irina admired, Vee! Although she knew that the white haired girl hadn't felt and lived through all the events like she had. To start she wasn't a werewolf, thanks Merlin! Second, she hadn't been at the Malfoy's meeting, and third she wasn't really a fan of Luci! So Rina decided to wait for her friend to finish her meal before getting up from the wooden bench and started to walk to leave the Great Hall.

Let’s say that Ree was not really surprised to hear people talking about the last night's events. Obviously some were curious, others wanted to make it look worse so they could call for more attention, some would start making jokes about it, perhaps she would hear some less pleasant comments… but what she wasn’t really expecting was to hear her name being called that way and by that voice, “SOUSA” they called, and Ree immediately stopped in her tracks straightening her back when she felt a cold shudder on her spine. It was no other then Cassandra Ironwoods, the fierce and stern Slytherin prefect. Irina felt their call straight to her bones, before turn and look back at them. What happened? I haven’t done anything this time! Did I? Maybe me just walking pass them had been enough? She thought feeling anxiety grow inside her. “Ye…yes Iron…Ironwoods?” She stammered in a weak and almost inaudible voice. Obviously Cash didn't heard her or just dismissed her clumsy words, "And whoever you are, come closer" They continued, also mentioning Vee to join them. That hadn't been a request it had been an order, and so, Irina obeyed, she believed it was unwise to challenge Cash on a normal day, let alone that morning.

As soon as Ree sat on the seat across from Cash, she noticed that the older Slytherin was smiling at her and Ree felt her eyes narrow slightly at that, "Did you guys eat anything yet?" she heard them ask. What's wrong? Oh Merlin...is this a trap of some sorts? Irina thought feeling more and more anxious. "I...Uh..." Rina started to want to explain that she wasn't hungry but again, that little voice of self-preservation told her that that wasn't the best choice of words. "Please eat something before classes started," Ironwoods said to them while gesturing towards all the food displayed at the Slytherin's table, "If the meal in front of you was not up parred to with your taste, I could ask the house elves to make something else for you," She continued. At this words Irina couldn't contain herself and her mouth fell open in surprise before she quickly regain composure and closed it again. Okay...this is not normal. Not normal at all! She thought feeling now skeptical and suspicious of the prefect's so uncharacteristic niceness. "Or I could make it for both of you whatever you wanted as your breakfast,' At this last words Irina was speechless, Is she serious right now? Maybe she's not feeling well? Oh Merlin...did she caught something contagious when she was holding Thorn? Irina tried to see Violet's expression, but she wouldn't dare look directly at her friend, so she tried to glance quickly out of the corner of her eye. Hopefully, Vee would look at her so they could share a knowing look. "Seriously, please eat" Cash repeated to them.

Irina cleared her throat and tiredly sighed, before she could reply to their prefect, "Thank you Ironwoods! You don't need to do anything," She started to assure them, no need in contradict Cassandra Ironwoods, "I'll have some fruit and coffee I think." She stated as she started to put some grapes and sliced fruit on her plate. Reaching for the coffeepot, she began filling her mug with the hot brew. When she was about to take her first sip another girl arrived to their table. Irina recognized her as another first year but they had never shared a word between them until that day. "Good morning-" The dark-haired girl greeted them while sitting next to Cash. "Oh sorry, this isn't the morning that can be referred to as good, I heard someone was stabbed in our house-" The new girl continued and upon hearing this Irina set down her coffee cup with a loud "THUMP" on the table. Who is this idiot? She thought biting on her tongue so she wouldn't say anything stupid in front of one of her prefects. "Hey, Tone! I think I found your spirit animal," Ironwoods said playfully at the boy next to her. Irina understood it had been a joke but she hadn't felt quite the need to laugh, her eyes now stuck at the other young girl while she was fighting to control herself. "-I can't believe something like this has happened-" She heard her continue, with words clearly camouflaged with concern, "-I hope he would get well soon" She finished starting to serve herself with some food. "First of all, please have a seat," Cash started to sarcastically reply to the girl sitting next to her and Irina felt a faint smirk appear in her lips while she kept observing the young snake. "And lastly, no one got stabbed, right, Sousa?" Irina immediately looked at Cash, like her name mentioned by the prefect had worked as a summon of her attention. Rina saw the look Ironwoods was sending her way and she recognized that the old Cash was finally back. She felt a mix of relief, because there was no more awkwardness in their interactions and they were not sick or under some kind of enchanted spell! But at the same time felt concerned because she didn't wanted to test her prefect's limits.

Irina's eyes turned slowly towards the dark-haired Slytherin. She kept a serious expression wrapped with a slightly threatening look, "Right." She said dryly, "You should keep your mouth shut if you don't know what you're talking about!" Rina told the girl in a strong voice, her hand squeezing her coffee cup "Is not because you try to make things look worse that you look more interesting you know?" She asked mischievously, her smirk now increasing, "You just look mindless and daft!" She finished in a soft voice with a glint of evilness playing in her eyes.

What do you want, Hana?” said Ironwoods.

Why wouldn’t he be here? He was known to do as he pleased. And finding out the tea was a worthy activity to accomplish. To pass his time with no regards to anyone else’s feelings. That is- if he could get anything out of the usually private prefect. Looking at the other Slytherin more clearly, they definitely needed a touch of makeup. ‘Tired’ was an understatement when looking at Ironwood’s state. The thought of how they referred to him as ‘Hana’ came a bit too late, but nevertheless- managed to send his shoulders tensing. Hana? Weird but okay. At least that answer was expected. Everything else that happened after that, however- was not.

"For the love of whatever deity holy up there, please sit, Tone!"

Please??? Didn’t know Ironwoods had that word in their dictionary. He was irked. It sounded like something someone cheerful would say, only for it to be muffled by sheer exhaustion and the wrong personality. Ironwoods definitely was not cheerful. Maybe it was easier to swing their fists at him if he sat near them? Regardless, he reluctantly choose to sit down with just enough space between them for him to make his escape if he needs to. If possible, he’d like to avoid further damage to his jaw. “ Thanks? “

"Have you ever felt like you wanted to sleep for days and not care about what going on in this world today?”Ironwoods asked.

Like.. a normal teenager? “ What wasn’t normal about that? Hana’s year had been excruciatingly stressful, but he didn’t go parading that fact and getting people into conversations about it. “ What are you even trying to get from that question? You want tips on how to deal with it? I’m not giving to you for free if thats what you’re really asking “ How Cash was so open about it peeved Hana to no end. Primarily because Cash was the last person he thought would say something like that. Opportunity to have deep talks about how sad and tired they are? Ew! Gross! Why anyone would feel comfortable sharing all that was beyond him.

"SOUSA!" They called out the first-year student. "And whoever you are, come closer"The Prefect commanded.

Cash decided to call for some other random people to their table. An action Hanako has no memory of agreeing to. He showed just how welcomed he was to the idea of it with an eyeroll and an annoyed gruff. Sousa, one of the people Ironwoods called over (quite loudly in fact) made her way to their table despite her fidgety anxious manner.

From how this Sousa girl reacted, it didn’t seem like they were the closest friends. Her behaviour didn’t go unnoticed by the Slytherin boy, but this was Ironwoods they were talking about. It wasn’t that surprising to have itty bitty first years terrified of them. To Hana’s surprise and dismay, Sousa decided to sit with them anyway, followed by the other unknown girl who sat beside her.

The unnecessary students that started showing up only made Hanako more suspicious about Ironwoods. It was an interesting diversion, he admits. But he had his eye on the prize. Unlike someone.

Hi “ The girl who sat next to Sousa said. Hanako choose not to comment. If he did, his annoyance at her presence would’ve been more obvious than necessary.@Violet Grace

Some things didn't escape his observation, but Hanako was never the one who had the smarts to naturally notice things first. The arrival of another 4th year student was as noticeable as all the other npc’s walking behind him. And would continue to be unaware of the others presence until further notice. ( Assumed Pierre’s cat grace auto succeeded )@Piérre Marchonné

"Did you guys eat anything yet?” Ironwoods asked “Please eat something before classes started. If the meal in front of you was not up parred to with your taste, I could ask the house elves to make something else for you. Or I could make it for both of you whatever you wanted as your breakfast. Seriously, please eat"

As Ironwoods’s behavior continue, Hana merely watched with doubtful eyes. What were they planning to the point of being nice to people? The more he watched, the more uneasy he felt. Surely this is some mind trick to get away from the actual important issue at hand? Or was this how they coped with how tired they were.

Unfortunately, any pity Hanako might have had for them went out the window. Doubt was a more reliable response than trust. There was no way they didn't have anything up their sleeve with how weird they’re acting.

Perhaps that Sousa girl shared the same idea as he does. "Thank you Ironwoods! You don't need to do anything, I'll have some fruit and coffee I think.” The younger girl proceeded to decline Ironwood’s kindness awkwardly. Although, something in her response did make Hanako’s smile return just a bit. “ Coffee, hm? Whats a kid like you doing drinking that? Having trouble sleeping like Ironwoods, here~?” It could really be nothing really. If not to point out how similarly exhausted they looked, it was a petty jap at coffee lovers. Clearly tea is far superior.

Good morning-" A more chirpier unknown student came. Unannounced, and unwanted. "Oh sorry, this isn't the morning that can be referred as good, I heard someone was stabbed in our house. I can't believe something like this has happened-" Hanako’s frustration faded when he saw what she brought to the table. Straight to the point! It brought a gleeful smile to his face. @Adya Oakes

However, not everyone had the same reaction. Sousa’s coffee cup slammed so hard on the table he was surprised it wasn't broken. An interesting reaction itself. He’ll have to keep that in mind. Who knows, maybe she just hated the new girl’s voice that badly.

"Hey, Tone! I think I found your spirit animal," Cash joked, and to be fair- sorry - Hana had to chuckle a bit at that. Didn’t know Ironwoods was capable at cracking a joke.

Ironwoods continued to emphasise that there is nothing going on. No stabbing nor anything. What was weird was that they made Sousa confirm it. As if the coffee certainly did their job, suddenly Sousa wasn’t so tired anymore. With enough energy, she backed up Ironwoods so hard, Hana almost believed her earlier anxiousness was just for show.

Evidently interested in her confidence, Hanako showed her a smile. “ Sharp tongue you got there, hm? No wonder you two seem so close “ Again another emphasis on ‘sharp’. And will be a recurring action unless he gets real answers.Confident too. Like you know what you’re talking about. Seems like there's no other choice but to believe you two~ “. The words he said itself should have been encouraging, like he was on their side. But something in the way he toned it sounded off, regardless of how you spun it.

And he clearly wasn’t unaware of it. As oblivious as he pretended to be, he was definitely interested in how they responded to this. If they didn’t take the bait, that was alright. Pushing buttons was a specialty of his.
@Cassandra Ironwoods@Irina Sousa and everyone else I mentioned in the post above
Occ note: Group threads can be a bit confusing because there's sm going on. But this is basically the order I decided to follow through when I was writing this. It was a regular morning for Bailey. She got dressed, pulling on a shirt and sweater, lined tights to keep her legs warm and a skirt. For her shoes Bailey kept it simple, just some flower embroidered converses, and for jewelry bailey wore a gold ring, a black belt with a gold clasp and a gold watch.
Bailey petted Twinkle her cat on the head, and grabbed her bag and water bottle. In her bag bailey had her wand, her books for the morning sessions, some random candy and snacks, and her writing utensils both muggle and magical.
Bailey walked down to breakfast in a good mood, but did sense a rather foreboding vibe in the castle.
its like someone died bailey thought, unaware that someone HAD almost died.
Entering the great hall, Bailey made her way by the Snek table, as she had a question for Colin, about something she had been contemplating about recently. Bailey heard some muttered gossip, but did not pay a lot of attention to it.
"ya, with a smuggled knife" "he's supposedly a werewolf too" "almost murdered"
Bailey heard, getting more concerned. Bailey spotted a cluster of familiar faces, and heard something more discussion of the 'stabbing', and bailey decided to ask Rina.
Bailey had spotted Rina, who looked slightly worried and concerned, and Bailey decided to ask her.
tapping rina on the shoulder, Bailey smiled and asked "heyy could i talk to you?"
After taking a few steps away from the rest of the group, Bailey asked "is everything alright? i keep hearing people whispering about a were wolf and a knife, and someone getting stabbed, someone in Slytherin - who was it, are they ok? are you ok?"
Worry was written all over Bailey's face, and she knew that this was not her business, but she needed to make sure that everyone was alright, and her friends were safe and in one piece, no holes or injuries.
