like i said, a house's traits doesn't dictate who your character should be. you can totally still be a shy person, a parselmouth and still be gryffindor! it's an opportunity to develop your character and easing into why they are in the house where they are. i don't think we should all fit into a stereotype, not everything is black and white

Yep. And Elizabeth will do her best to represent a unique Gryffindor!

This is true. Regi "fits" into Slytherin very well and in many ways, but clearly has strong Gryff traits.

Colin desperately wanted Ravenclaw, ended up in Slytherin and had a very strong Gryff streak in him.

Haha yeah, I don’t really think you get much more of a unique character than Larino. An incredibly shy and arrogant troublemaker who is a Japanese autistic werewolf. I don’t think any other character like that exists
