Frigid Fun Finished

"Summer for sure." He responded, not having to think for a moment about his favorite season. "It's perfect weather for whatever I feel like doing usually." Some days he'd venture into the woods, others he'd go swimming. Every day was an adventure during the summer, the other seasons were too unpredictable for that. Gabriel always hated winter, the snow being too cold to have a lot of fun even with the best activities. Spring was okay, and fall was also too cold. He never minded a bit of rain, though he preferred the sound over being in it.

"The rain is good; I like to listen to it. Or run around in the mudpuddles barefoot." He grinned reminiscently. He figured since they were talking about the weather, he'd tell her a bit about his past.
"You know, I used to live in a muggle town. It always rained down there, though my family moved when I was given my letter here." It would be cool if Pandora got to see his old town, he thought she'd like it.

It was getting cold; he could see that it was also affecting Pandora. He was shivering, trying to speak, he muttered out a few words. "You-you know. I think you should get out...before you freeze. I'll get out after you but ladies first." He stuttered, desperately waning to leave the lake. He wouldn't succumb to the coldness until he stayed in longer than her.

"Wow that's nice. Being born in a town where it rains a lot. Are you sad you're moving? I couldn't get it out."

Pandora looked at the boy curiously. Yes, she was trying to understand from her eyes, but she couldn't understand. She thought she should tell her where she came from.

"I don't know if I told you, but I was born in a place near town, almost right next to the forest. a very nice place. Sometimes I wonder what it would have been like if my father had been a witch. I wish I had found these beauties by discovering them instead of books. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't change my life for anything. What about you?"

Pandora looked at Gabriel curiously. It was even colder now, and Pandora could no longer resist the cold. Her voice was shaky from the cold. She hoped that she understood what she had said earlier.

"Maybe you're right, it's time to go. From here, I think I'll go straight to the Hospital Wing."

She came out of water. She was shaking so she quickly opened her bag and put on her dry sweater over her wet sweater. And she took her bag. She waved to Gabriel and started walking wearily towards the castle.

He pondered his response for a moment. Vulnerability wasn't something he was proud of, and he didn't like speaking about subjects like this. "I guess I am a bit upset. I left behind my old schoolmates and my best friends. It was a good place to live." He told her. "Also don't tell anyone this" He muttered.

He stared at her, recognizing all the similarities between them. They were very common personality wise, and they also had a similar childhood. "That's pretty cool that you're dad's a muggle. Mine is too, I grew up in his hometown. I didn't know you liked the woods, so do I. I guess you like archery and woods are a good place to practice." He inferred. It was nice to have similarities with someone, it made him feel closer to her.

Between shivers, Pandora said she was leaving. Gabriel was extremely grateful; he could leave too. He exited the lake, shaking from head to toe with his arms wrapped around his body. He unzipped his bag and quickly pulled his extra clothes over his wet ones. He waved to Pandora as she hurried off to the Hospital Wing but yelled something towards her. "I win by the way! I stayed in longer!" He smirked and grabbed his bag.

He was thinking of heading after her, the Hospital Wing sounded good. He wasn't sure though; he might just go to his common room and sit by the fire.
