French English
Castor would admit that, by this point, she was utterly and obviously tired of her date's plain disregard for her feelings and thoughts. Was a ball not meant to be for two people? Was that not the point of these kinds of affairs? She could form a million ways to tell off the boy in her head, but kept it in for the sake of everyone else out in the petting zoo. Castor almost felt bad for the student before them, who had clearly just been trying to enjoy his evening. The French girl knew well enough that it was hard for some people who weren't raised in households such as hers and Florian's to understand the higher-class manners.
The boy was apologizing quickly, before going on some strange tangent about Conrad. The girl held back a laugh at the obliviousness of the misunderstanding. It was quite comical, someone mistaking a French term for a common name. But, of course, it was hard to find any humor in the situation considering her date's serious lack of sympathy. Couldn't he just let this stupid mistake go? Castor would rather go and see some prancing unicorn than continue standing here watching her date argue with some random boy.
Another individual was there as well, some student there with the boy that had bumped into Florian. The two of them seemed fairly innocent, although Castor wasn't one to make quick assumptions about people, especially considering the situation they had landed themselves in.
The girl was about to step in and redirect Florian to the actual petting zoo when she was suddenly ushered off to the side by his careless hand. Before she could complain, he thrust out his wand and shot a fast spell over to the victim. Castor knew the spell anywhere, including knowing that it was harmless, but the act of casting a negative spell on a random student during a school-run event placed in a very public area was not only improper, but heavily against school rules. "Florian!" She shrieked, her hand moving instinctively to cover her mouth.

Though the petting zoo had been intended to serve as a sanctuary for those who preferred the company of animals as opposed to humans in a safe and controlled environment, it seemed that not even this place on the grounds would be protected from the chaos that often came to destroy the serenity of any event that was organized with love and care.
Guided by the quietly powerful and regal voice of the Undead King, @Aida Mòrsgor-Ama Ellwood would follow his next command; to release the Jarvies from their pen as well. With simplicity (for the cages were only intended to keep animals in and not humans out), the pale wix would follow her command and would easily open the cage door of the foul-mouthed weasels. Her words to them would be returned with Scottish phrases such as; "Bampot!", "Stoter!" "Jackie clatty!", "Bowfin, pished, doolally!" among other common English and Irish ones too foul to by put down in writing. Without hesitation, they would quite happily leave their confines and start to particularly swarm the legs of their former holders such as @Tala Takagi and @Harper Jordan themselves.
At the same time, Durmstrang Champion Yefim Rumyantsev @Flash Holmwood would similarly release the Crups during his playing with them alongside Felix Kolbeck @Winnie Harper. Very much like any energetic dog, the Crups would run like the wind as they scampered, barked, and prowled all about the immediate vicinity. Some of them got down into 'play' position with other humans and with each other, and some tried to peel off towards the Forbidden Forest only to turn tail and run back when they got a bit too close to the shadows that lurked there.
This had to be a animal-lover's dream...
But not for everyone, of course, as a certain @Isadora Everridge went to call out for help from the Care of Magical Creatures Professor and the individual who was helping to run the event Harper Jordan. She would call for help, though with multiple animals already running about and wreaking chaos... was there really much that either of them could do about this situation? How could one deal with the unfiltered joy of all three breeds of magical animals? Did anyone dare to ruin that unfiltered joy?
Florian LeRoy @Starlee Kennedy had had enough with Sherlock Dols' @Marius Brown nonsense as undescribed emotions raged through him. He would attempt to cast Steleus on Sherlock. Though his spell went off without a hitch [Wisdom 14], his accuracy was not quite able to find purchase on the usually non-evasive (that 4 in evasion, Sherlock, wow) foreigner [16 Accuracy v. 22 Evasion]. the spell would fly off harmlessly as Nifflers, Jarveys, and now Crups began to scamper and frolic in free space.

Aida’s release of the jarveys succeeded, and with the mustelids’ cranky replies, the white wix couldn’t help but break out in uncontrollable giggling. The native Highlander understood it all. Looking around once more, the Ravenclaw noticed that the Durmstrang jabberwocky had indeed helped out by releasing the crups.
“Thank you!” Aida called, not realizing the identity of Valentin’s close friend, Yefim, of whom he frequently spoke. “You are a true friend of beasts, sir Jabberwocky!” Waving with a spin on one heel, the white swan dove towards a new cage with a brightening twinkle in each eye. This evening was quickly becoming a peak moment of Aida's life, but success was not guaranteed yet.
There was apparently a diricawl here they hadn’t noticed before.* Feeling an affinity for the flightless bird, Aida felt terrible that it was being cooped up despite its clearly strong running legs. The wix walked up to its cage door, energized and brave with blatant disregard at being seen, and bobbed their white-haired head at the beastie in greeting. The feathers of Aida’s white swan gown swirled about the diricawl’s cage latch as the wix’s fingers went to town on setting it free next. Hopefully this choice would also please the Undead King, as Aida figured it would be difficult and time-consuming to recapture the diricawl if it chose to turn invisible upon escaping.
“Maybe now’s a good time to make a disappearance, hm?” Aida said to the diricawl.

Isadora's Fall Ball Outfit:

Looking back over the petting zoo, Dora's eyes widen at how much worse it has become in the last few seconds. Not only are there animals loose, but it seems like more than before! Could the pen latches be that faulty, or is this someone's idea of a practical joke? The Professor doesn't seem to find it very funny, and neither does Dora. Students could get hurt, and the animals could as well! She's already seen one wayward flung spell in the chaos, and the next could cause serious damage.
But what can Dora do? She doesn't know any spells that could help in this case, and she hasn't taken Care of Magical Creatures either. Quickly looking around, she spots a flash of white in the crowd, an albino girl running about with a smile on her face. Dora's brow draws together in confusion, but before she can do anything, she feels a tug at the bottom of her skirt.
She yelps at the Niffler latching onto her dress, and the sleek black creatures begins to climb. Dora yells as it crawls up and around her, the little beast too slippery to grab ahold of. The Niffler climbs around her and up her back, finally settling on her shoulder. With a swift tug, it yanks out a piece of the silver embroidery on Dora's dress, storing it in its fur and leaping away before Dora can catch it.
The thievery elicits a moment of panic from Dora as she hikes up her skirt with one hand and holds her neckline with the other. 'Damion's hard work! My Grandmother's dress!' She tries to breathe slower. 'No, I can fix this! I can.. I can use a Mending Charm!' So, unable to think of a way to help, and concerned with her damaged dress, Dora watches her step as she makes a hasty retreat away from the petting zoo.

Nothing could have prepared Sherlock for the teen's reaction. Why would he be casting a spell angrily at the Belizean, just because Sherlock informed him that he had been mistaken, that the Conrad guy he was looking for was not him?
The Castelobruxo student looked at the teenager in surprise, innocent brown eyes staring straight into the ones he perceived as icy cold but with a raging fire inside each, blazing fire ready to consume and destroy whatever stood in their way. (Weird, how could something be icy and fire-y at the same time?) Sherlock shivered. Fire would need water to be put out, so he had better be the water before this student exploded in anger. But how?
The boy from Central America eyed the other two people involved involuntarily in this situation, swiftly but carefully enough so as not to anger the teenager more; he assumed this elder pupil would tell him to look straight into his icy eyes and say something in his defence.
He saw Andy standing at his side, but the North American boy stood still. Somehow, Sherlock thought, he doesn't seem like he's going to stay quiet for much longer. But what the kid would do, the blond could not guess. And then there was the female teenager who came with the angry teen. She had just shouted "Florian" (so this was the angry pupil's name?), most likely she, just like Sherlock, had not guessed that her company would draw his wand.
His eyes snapped back at Florian, if it really was his name. The younger boy thought fire was still there, but he had no water whatsoever. "Sorry," he whispered, head bowed, eyes scanning his shoes instead of the person he was addressing.

If it was safe to assume Andy was more confused than being angry when that unfamiliar boy who looked older then both him and Sherlock started to call Sherlock something not very friendly, he was getting even more confused and started to get annoyed and angry when the boy started a cast a spell at Sherlock. Luckily, it was just a sneezing spell, but Andy just could not understand why that boy do that. "Why did that boy cast a spell at Sherlock? Do that boy and Sherlock know each other? Did Sherlock do something unfriendly to that boy before? I am genuinely confused about all of this, and I think that boy is trying to bully Sherlock for some reason. Something must be going wrong and let me ask them what just happening." The Thunderbird thought.
Suddenly, before Andy began to open his mouth and ask them, a girl Andy was also unfamiliar with came to the scene and started to call out "Florian!" "So, Florian is the name of that boy? So that girl knows that boy? Seriously, what is going on here? Let me ask them what is going on right now!"
"So, could anyone please tell me what is going on here? I only know Sherlock, and I don`t know any of you two. So, why that this boy, I suppose called Florian, called Sherlock an unfriendly name and even casted a sneezing spell at Sherlock?" The confused and a little bit annoyed Thunderbird asked the three while pointed to the older boy who casted the spell and trying his best to be friendly, "I am not saying if any of you is right or wrong. Maybe there is something not right going on between you three that I don`t really know. I just want someone among your three to explain the situation to me. I am genuinely confused by all of this. It that OK? Hope you don`t mind that." Andy then showed a confused face to the three teens, stood somewhere near them, and waited for someone among the three to explain the situation to him.

Flash would dutifully put on the protective gloves that Eun-ji had brought him to, not only in agreeance to not wanting to get hurt, but the added warmth would also be welcome. Little did he know, they would come in handy even more than expected. The only downside would be the need to diconnect from her, putting an end to the skin contact he had enjoyed for the heft of the evening.
As they exchanged greetings with Ye-jun and Burnett, Flash would get another brief moment to hear Eun-ji speak Korean. Ever the wandering mind, he wondered how difficult it would be to learn a second language, and whether it was something he could pick up through independant study like the drums. With his magical studies, sports, and the constant threat of danger around them, Flash often felt a twinge of jealousy for muggles. Had he been one, taking up a language class would have been a simple matter. However, without magic he would not have been able to heal Eun-ji's injury, so it was not exactly black and white either.
Eun-ji would lighten the inital mood of the greet by commenting on the clothing, which would elicit the chuckle she was likely looking for, only bolstered by the sound of Burnett's simultaneous laughter. It was not like Flash to not be the most well-dressed in a room, and he even thought Burnett's get-up looked far more appropriate and fanciful than what Flash had managed. Naturally, when Ye-jun offered his hand, Flash took it and gave it a healthy shake.
"The same. The last time you and I were in the same place, we were lifting a collapsed tent." Flash would smile, the memory not being a dour one despite the distress it caused. In the end, their effort had helped make sure the injuries were minimal, so the memory stood more as a testament to Ye-jun's reliability than it did Hogwart's danger.
To his question, Ye-jun would appear to tease Eun-ji, their cheeky facial exchanges making Flash feel jovial rather than embarrassed. It was easy to tell that the two had a friendly report, and it warmed Flash's heart to know Eun-ji had a family member she could rely on and jest with. At the very least, it seemed the two boys had connected during an unrelated meeting, with no trick lined up behind the curtains. Even though Burnett was prone to pranks, Flash had learned over the years how to tell when he was being coy or genuine. They had gone though quite a lot together after all.
Burnett would sheepishly bring up the last incident, which somehow Flash had nearly forgot. He had been so distraught and exhausted at that point, much of the night had been a blur. He didn't want to dwell on it, instead latching on to Burnett's first suggestion. "A baby unicorn?"
Of course, an equine creature would not usually be Flash's first choice, but the truth was he was here to witness Eun-ji's enjoyment, and possibly learn a thing or two, so his preferences were not relevant. He would instead look to Eun-ji for her interest. "Do you like unicorns?"
Though they might have had a brief moment to talk, it would soon become evident that this ball would not miraculously be one without incident. Though not immidiately obvious, noise in the periphery would heighten and peak, leading Flash to scan the area for the inevitable threat. Not far away, some of the creatures could be seen escaping the pens they were kept in, possibly released by one of the many students gathered there due to a lack of security. As usual, it would be up to the more responsible of the students to prevent this from getting out of hand, though he counted himself glad that he was not alone.
Pulling his wand out, Flash would not rely on his physical strength to try to stop what was essentially a small horde of nifflers and crups. There were too many, and the nifflers seemed quite keen on Eun-ji's shining jewlery. In fact, most of his group were wearing shiny clothing, even Flash had a wristwatch that would attract them. If they wanted to keep their things and not be beset by greedy little animals hands, they would have to react quickly.

Blue in English, Red in KoreanWhen the introductions and small talk concluded, Jack suggested they explore the ZOO together. Eun-ji had to consider the offer for a moment. Truth be told she was indeed interested in unicorns but Flash spent all of his summers surrounded by horses. Surely, he wasn’t interested in seeing yet another one here? Yes, this one was magical but still. Not to mention the atmosphere between the two Slytherins remained rather awkward so going together probably wasn’t going to be much fun. At least that’s what it looked like right now. “I do like unicorns,” she smiled at Flash who immediately decided to check with her. It was clear he wanted to make sure she had fun, which she found extremely sweet. “…but I was actually planning to check out the crups first. Maybe we can meet up later?” What she said wasn’t a lie. Right now, crups were the closest thing to dogs she could get. It was not Morgana but it was something. Judging from the knowing look Ye-jun gave her, the witch was sure he understood her thought process perfectly. He would not question her decision then. Good.
Unfortunately, whatever plans she may have had were soon thwarted by her fellow Ravenclaw and duellist. Eun-ji didn’t even have time to yell at Aida before the gate opened and a bunch of nifflers started flooding the area. Oh no... It seemed to be rather peaceful when they first came to see the ZOO. Why did trouble have to start as soon as she brought Flash here? Pulling her wand out of her dress, Eun-ji immediately prepared herself to fight. She knew a bunch of the creatures would come at her, given the outfit she was wearing tonight. Ye-jun would no doubt be deemed their favourite as well but at least his accessories were part of his clothes rather than himself. The Ravenclaw wasn’t as lucky. She quickly discarded her golden crown and threw it at some of the little thiefs. She had no desire to have one land in her hair and it should provide some distraction at least. Pointing her wand at another getting dangerously close she did her best to focus. “Immobulus!”
The witch was vaguely aware of the second niffler hurling towards her from the side and eyeing her earrings. She highly doubted they would bother unclipping them but she had no time to change her target. Either one of her companions would have to help or she’d just have to deal with the damage later. Eun-ji was honestly glad for her talent when it came to healing spells. She still hoped, she won’t have to use them tonight but it was highly unlikely. With another pen being opened, the chaos was only getting bigger and bigger. They should probably get out of here as soon as possible. Hopefully none of us carries an important memento today. She for sure wasn’t. They could take anything she had without her caring too much. It would be much worse if any of them lost something precious to them. Nifflers were a slippery bunch so chasing them would be near impossible task.

"A baby unicorn?" Flash repeated before looking to his date. "Do you like unicorns?"
“I do like unicorns,” the young Korean witch answered, “…but I was actually planning to check out the crups first. Maybe we can meet up later?”
"Sounds good," Jack replied, nodding. He had caught the exchange of looks between Ye-jun and his cousin and couldn't have been quite sure what it meant, but soon decided it probably wasn't his business.
As he had been waiting for Flash and Eun-ji to decide whether or not they wanted to join him and Ye-jun, the wix wearing the white swan feathers and gown must have caught his glance in their direction, because they grinned back at him with an exceedingly joyful countenance and waved, calling out to him, “You can be free, too.”
What they meant by that he had little time to ponder because soon there was a wave of freed animals headed toward their little group with nifflers at the forefront. Hazel eyes grew wide as he glanced back at Flash, Ye-jun, and Eun-ji, the last two of whom were wearing a great deal of shining, glittering accessories upon their persons, and he hastily stepped in front of them, drawing his mayhaw wood wand.
He may not have had much to distract the nifflers with, but he at least had his large, thick belt studded with bits of gleaming metal. Jack, trying to think fast, quickly undid the belt from around his waist and tossed it on the ground in front of them, hoping to lure the creatures toward it. He was about to use the wind spell to trap them with a wall of whirling wind when he caught sight of the niffler headed straight for Eun-ji's earrings.
The Ravenclaw was too busy fending off a different critter headed her way, so Jack raised his wand and whipped it into motion. "Flipendo!" he called, hoping to knock back the little thief of a beast in order to keep it from causing serious harm to Eun-ji's ears in its pursuit of her jewelry.
Recalling his own date was bedecked in a great deal of niffler bait as well, Jack turned to Ye-jun, looking him over to see how he was faring. "Are you alright, hyung?"
There seemed there seemed to be more than just the nifflers out, now, and more creatures being released by the minute, but Jack could not afford to be distracted by them all, choosing to focus only on what was most relevant at that time. He glanced Flash's way briefly, glad that he and the other Snape dorm member had chosen to wear much less attractive clothing for the ball - at least as far as the nifflers were concerned.

Roleplaying as Lee Ye-jun from Beauxbatons – Encyclopedia
Violet in English, Red in Korean and Blue in French“I remember. Good job on that one,” Ye-jun smiled upon recalling the tent incident. He still thought it was rather impressive that the four or was it five? students were able to work together so well especially since they didn’t know one another at the time. He genuinely wanted to talk to the boy some more but it was clear this was not the right time to do so. The atmosphere still felt a bit weird and they also had different plans. When Eun-ji mentioned crups the boy understood immediately. He would not comment on the choice, the loss of Morgana was still a painful topic that was acknowledged but not talked about.
Ye-jun was about to agree that they could meet up later and take Jack away when all hell broke loose. Her truly adored all animals and magical creatures but this kind of run in definitely wasn’t going to be pleasant. The nifflers especially. At least Flash and his own date for the evening weren’t wearing too many sparkly things but the same thing couldn’t be said about the Lee cousins. The Beauxbatons student wasn’t too worried about himself. He was steady on his feet and all the shiny stuff was situated on his clothes. The worst that could happen would be some stolen accessories and thorn fabric. Eun-ji on the other hand, was wearing a necklace, earrings and probably some rings as well. As expected though, she didn't look too worried. She was great with healing spells and unfortunately quite familiar with injuries.
Gritting his teeth Ye-jun followed the example and threw away the brooch decorating the fabric around his neck. It wasn’t anything precious but perhaps it could also serve as a distraction. It was also the only thing that was rather unfortunately placed and could potentially bring some scratches to the neck or face. Best to get rid of it before the creatures decided to jump on him. His next reaction was unlike that of the others by his side. The boy loved magic but his first instinct was usually using his strength and so this time before even realizing it he attempted grab onto any niffler that might be rushing his or Jack’s way...or at least push it away before he found his wand. Next to him, he was aware of Jack doing his best to save his cousin some pain although he did feel somewhat guilty toward the little creature too. Flipendo was not a pleasant spell. Eun-ji probably thought the same yet at the same time, it couldn’t be helped. The girl that set the nifflers free probably thought she was doing them a service but there would be many similar spells flying their way in order to catch them. Ye-jun wondered if the momentary freedom was truly worth it. As nimble as they were, with so many wizards in the castle, sooner or later they would be brought back anyway.
“I’m fine.” Despite everything he did sound pretty calm. “You?” He asked Jack in return, concern clear in his face. He was usually more worried about others than himself.
