Thorn had been bored all morning and most of the afternoon. Her brothers had hosted a Wizarding Chess Tournament in the common room and wouldn't let her play. So she dragged herself up to the Astronomy tower, It was snice in her opinion to get some fresh air especially when she was angry the slight breeeze always seemed to calm her down. "Stupid idiots, never include me in anything. Just wait till I grow up then they will regret ever leaving me out" she cackled. She exhaled a sharp breath and watched as her breath turned into fog. She sighed and layed on her back looking up at the sky. It was snowing so she watched the snowflakes fall for awhile before she got bored and pulled her sketchbook and pencil out from her bag. She chewed on her eraser contemplating what to draw next, should she draw the lanscape, no, Oh how about a new outfit to sew for the fashion club, nah the next fashion meeting wasn't for another week and she had already drawn a bunch of designs for that. She threw her sketchbook across the room frustrated. She sat there for a couple minutes befor she crawled over to retrieve her sketchbook. As she was retrieving her sketchbook she could hear footsteps on the stairs.Outfit

He packed his things away in his rucksack, and slung it over his shoulder. There was no way he was going to concentrate in there that afternoon, and instead of heading up to his dorm, he walked out of the common room, and into the rest of the castle.
He started to walk the halls - all the way across the school, in and out of the courtyard, even checking back into the common room to see if things were any quieter, but there was no luck. It wasn't long before he stumbled upon the stairs for the Astronomy Tower, and began to climb them. "There's no way anyone could be up here on such a nice afternoon." He thought, despite it being quite cold and altogether miserable. Nevertheless, to his surprise, he soon began to hear some noise, but instead of walking away like he would usually have done, he found himself to continue up the stairs. There, he found a girl sat, or rather, crawling, around on the floor with a sketchpad. He had barely ever spoke to her, but he knew she was a Slytherin first year, like him. Instead of saying anything, instead he simply stood there, staring. It wasn't that he meant to stare, he just had a habit of doing just that.Post layout and graphics by Larino Arveli• S U M M A R Y •
ReducioLarino was trying to do some studying in the common room, but a few older students were hosting a Wizards Chess Tournament, so he was finding it difficult to concentrate. He didn't know where to go, and eventually ended up at astronomy, where he met a girl with a sketchbook. He didn't say anything - just stood at the top of the stairs, staring.

I yawned, running a hand through my hair, and rubbing my eyes. I needed to get away, somewhere away from people. I looked up at the towers.
The tall astronomy towers!
With a slight cough, I jogged across to the entrance. As I got higher, I could smell someone. Was that Thorn? I think I got her scent narrowed down!
Then I smelled someone else. I couldn’t place it though… I had never spoken to this person. I could tell. I got high up and that’s when I saw Thorn sat drawing and a random boy staring at her.
I glared at the back of his head, who did he think he is staring at a girl while she is just minding her business. “Oi,” I said, pushing but not that hard but it made him stumble into the actual tower. “Why you staring, freak? Say something to her, leave, or move away!” was I being too protective of my friend? Maybe. Should I have used my words and not my fists? Yes. I glared at him, resisting the urge to curl my lip up, I need to be more careful! Especially after that debacle with Thorn herself and Ava.

Lucas sat on a bench in the courtyard, humming to himself as he started up at the sky with an extremely bored look on his face. He couldn't quite bring himself to start on any work, but at the same time he also didn't want to start idly walking around the castle as he had done many times before. He had started to finally figure out his way around the school, so it was no longer quite as interesting to explore.
Finally, after another 15 minues or so of idly sitting, he finally rose up to his feet with a sigh. There was one area he hadn't really explored, which was the Astronomy towers. He roughly knew the way, so it wasn't as much of an effort for him to find his way up there as it would be to find other places.
However, as he walked up the stairs into the tower, he heard voices talking, which came as somewhat as a suprise, especially considering there seemed to be multiple of them. After a moments deliberation, he fully commited to walking up the stairs, his curiosity getting the best of him. Once he got to the top, his gaze travelled across the scene infront of him, settling on each of the figures briefly, before finally settling on Lucian. "Real hero, aren't you? Trying to pick on him for simply looking at her?" He had a small grin on his face, quite amused by Lucian's reaction to, well.. Nothing really, or at least nothing Lucas could see.

Larino barely had time to turn around as there were footsteps coming up from behind him, as he was shoved across the top of the stairs, into the tower itself. His backpack fell off his shoulder, but he didn't realize it was partially open, and its contents spilled all across the floor. His books, quills, even a few of his pebbles. The event had left him in shock- he didn't really know what to do. The momentum was enough to get him onto the ground, even though the shove wasn't very hard. He needed to pick up his things anyway, since apparently he did something wrong.
Larino then heard another boy coming up the stairs, who he didn't really recognise. Only a glance at the scene, and he knew what had happened. That, and probably also hearing the voices. Well, more like the boy who shoved him over's voice.
"So sorry. I am so very sorry." He said, but barely speaking aloud. He had only just arrived in the tower, "Is it really wrong to stand somewhere for a moment after only just arriving? Apparently so." He said quietly to himself in his native tongue, collecting his things from off the floor. He quietly zipped up his bag, placing the last book inside. He placed it onto his back once more, and faced the other boys.
The one who had only just arrived seemed to be... defending him? Larino couldn't believe his ears, since he had always had to fend for himself in these sorts of situations, ever since he was little. "I only just arrived. I needed somewhere quiet to study, and found myself here. Unlike you, I felt as though I had nothing to say." He paused for a second, and said to the newcomer: "Thank you for that. Nobody has ever done that for me." As disappointing it was for him to say that, it was true.Post layout and graphics by Larino Arveli• S U M M A R Y •

“Why you staring, freak? Say something to her, leave, or move away!” She smiled at the familiar voice. "Luci!" she squealed getting up from the floor and walking over to him. She frowned as she saw books and paper scattered on the floor and a boy trying to pick them all up. She glanced at Luci for a second in confusion before bending down and helping the boy pick up his stuff. "I only just arrived. I needed somewhere quiet to study, and found myself here. Unlike you, I felt as though I had nothing to say." The boy on the floor snapped at Luci. She glared at the boy momentarily before helping the before handing the boy hia books and standing up. "Real hero, aren't you? Trying to pick on him for simply looking at her?" she whirled around facing the voice. "Watch yor tone" she frowned looking at the boy in the stairwell and then looking over at the other boy. She knew she knew that boy from somewhere she just couldn't place it. Was he in her classes, there were to many people in that class to remember a face. Then it hit her the Slytherin table. What was his name again? Larino that's what it was. "Larino, right?" she said sticking out her hand to the boy. "And you are?" he asked looking over her should at the blonde boy. Let's see if he can impress her with his response!

Irina was finally finishing her homework at the library. She felt very proud of her work but also very tired and sleepy by spending so many hours sitting there surrounded by books and parchments. Putting her quill down on the table she made the last full review of what she had already written. After correcting some small details, she thought I was enough for that day. Yawning with a hand covering her mouth she started to put everything down on her schoolbag and piling the books so it would be less a mess to clean for the poor librarian.
Looking at the table right aside from hers she saw a familiar blond haired girl, “Hey Tai!” She greeted her friend in a low voice, not wanting to disturb others. “Hey…I was about to go some place fun! The Astronomy tower! I heard it’s beautiful up there! Do you want to join me?” She asked with a mischievous smile. Not really expecting the other’s girl reply, Irina went out of the library, hoping that Tai would be following her.
Arriving at the top of the tower, what she saw there immediately turned her good mood. What the hell just happened? Lucian was frowning at a boy she knew was another Slytherin first year, but she really didn’t had exchanged any words with him until then. Her friend seemed to had pushed him or something like it, because the boy was just getting on his feet apparently after picking up his stuff from the floor. "Real hero, aren't you? Trying to pick on him for simply looking at her?" Irina’s gaze fell on that voice’s owner. He was a tall blond boy, with wavy and messy hair, she had never seen him before, so probably not a Slytherin. But that really didn’t matter to her, his words got stuck in her head…”looking at her…”, looking at who? Was when she looked behind the stairs entrance to the open Astronomy tower’s space. Thorn Cullen was there…the girl just walked to them, she seemed to be pleased with Lucian’s attitude…Well..why wouldn’t she?
Irina couldn’t believe it…Luci had just harmed a boy because he was looking at Thorn? Really? Okay then, it’s enough of being played stupid! “Hey guys!” She greeted now with a smile but a death looking stare at Thorn and then to Lucian, “Feeling jealous pretty boy? Someone was looking at your girl?” She wore a smirk then while nodding at the other girl, “You must forgive my friend here, he can’t control himself when it comes to Thorn!” She said now smiling playfully at the other boys. “I’m Irina! You can call me Rina” She said reaching her hand towards the blond boy who was near to her and then she turned to also greet the dark haired boy who seemed to got the bad experience there, she couldn’t stop from particularly sympathise with him with that feeling. Lucian…it’s enough for me, you better understand that, she thought feeling hurt and jealous, her pride was taking the best out of her in that moment.

He fell to the floor and I winced, his stuff going everywhere. Guess I used too much strength still I really need to get a handle on that.
“So sorry. I am so very sorry,” I heard him say quietly, and then he said something else in a different language and I frowned for a second. My head jittered to the side a little. Pencil… paper… Ree? But she wasn’t even here.
“Real hero, aren't you? Trying to pick on him for simply looking at her?" I jumped, I had been so focused on Larino… was that his name?, that I didn’t hear this other boy.
“Watch your tone!” I heard Thorn snap.
I don’t think I’d ever seen him around before, had a small grin on his face.
And I saw her behind him.
I focused my gaze back to the blond boy. “What? He was just stood there! Staring at her!” I looked at the boy I had shoved, his stuff was everywhere. Maybe I went a bit overboard with the shove, he was scrawny and wasn’t expecting it. I bit my lip. “Maybe if he wasn’t being creepy!” I didn’t do anything wrong! Who knows how long he had been staring st her! Its easy to get lost in your mind when drawing.
“I only just arrived,” he only just came? I stared into his eyes not letting any emotion of regret break through. “I needed somewhere quiet to study, and found myself here. Unlike you, I felt as though I had nothing to say."
At that comment I had the decency to look a little regretful and ashamed. Of course I jumped to conclusions! But you have to be careful! Don’t want weirdo’s staring at you! “Could’ve said hi and sat down,” I grumbled, head still high. I knew I should apologise. But I couldn’t.
I remembered what Rando-Boy had said. “And yeah actually, maybe? I was only looking out for her! You know, protecting friends?” I paused, “Or don’t you have any to protect?” shut up Lucian! I inwardly groaned. Such a motor mouth.“Real hero, aren't you? Trying to pick on him for simply looking at her,”
Larino turned to the other guy, "Thank you for that. Nobody has ever done that for me."
“Learn to stick up for yourself,” I said to him, “You think I’d the roles were reversed that I would say something in another language and pick up my stuff docilely?” old me may have, but mot lately.“Help!” I yelled at 7 years old as I was locked in a dresser, the chair stopping it from opening.
“Hey! Give it back!” I begged as they played pass the parcel with my ferret, watching the fellow 9 year olds walk by, not even looking at me.
“Stop being a jerk!” I snapped, pushing the older boy and grabbing Baxter. “Leave me brother alone!”
“Hey guys,” I turned to look just as she gave me a death stare, ooops. I didn’t know she would be there! “Feeling jealous pretty boy? Someone was looking at your girl?” Irina smirked and then inclined her head towards Thorn.
I glared at her, “Thorn isn’t my girl, Irina! You know that! We are just friends!” she knows my eyes are only for her. Anger swirled up. “Believe me, he is glad it wasn’t you he was staring at!”
“You must forgive my friend here, he can’t control himself when it comes to Thorn!” I clenched my fists as she said that, smiling at the other boys. “I’m Irina! You can call me Rina,” she reached her hand towards the blond boy.
“Irina, stop being jealous because Thorn isn’t some hag! I protected - or I thought I was protecting her from one - a creep staring at her, ogling her!” I sent an apologetic look to Larino now I knew that wasn’t the case. “You know I lo— you know that I care about you more than anyone!” I was basically shouting now.
I groaned and walked off, closing my eyes and playing with my wolf necklace.
“Look. We met on the wrong terms,” I said quietly, maybe this will smooth her over a little. “Larino. Hello. I am Lucian Michael Bauer Mornstern, yes that Mornstern. I apologise for giving you a tap on the back for staring at my friend like a weirdo and feeling like laughing when gravity gave up on you. Believe me, saying ‘hi’ in awkward way is waaaay better than staring at a random girl,” I turned to the blond boy whos name no one still didn’t know. “Yeah, I have nothing to say to you,”
Ree was next.
“Ree, my luv, I am sorry for any mixed signals or not making it clear that you are my… best friend and I would do anything for you. No one here at Hogwarts tops that,” I said sincerely, looking into her eyes.
And I came here to get away frok people.
“And Thorn?” I looked at her, “Hi!” I said with a wave.

Taisia spent the afternoon working on her homework. She had been so absorbed, she jumped when she heard someone greet her. Granted, the voice was not loud, but she had been so focussed, it was quite unexpected.
Taisia greeted her friend with a smile and listened as Nina invited her up to the Astronomy Tower.
She glanced down at the work she had done and decided to follow her. What could be the harm in going up? She packed up quickly, a skill she had fine tuned over the years and set off after Irina. The library was on the ground floor and the Astronomy Tower was, well, a tower so they had a fair while to walk. Nonetheless, they would surely be rewarded at the top.
However, as they came up, she could hear voices, an altercation of some sort. Most of t Irina, who was definitely fitter than her and had reached the top faster had joined in already. Tai only recognised one voice, that of Lucas Chapman, the Gryffindor she had met in the library not that long ago.
From what she could make out, someone had made someone annoyed because they where just watching someone else? Lucas seemed to jump in on the first person’s side, defending them. Taisia wasn’t sure what to do. She had reached the top of the tower though, so she had think quickly before everyone was staring at her.
The safest thing was to follow Irina’s lead and introduce herself.
“Hi. I’m Taisia.”

"Hey guys!" Yet another Slytherin first year was at the top of the stairs, clearly knowing who the others were. “Feeling jealous pretty boy? Someone was looking at your girl?" Larino sighed, rolling his eyes and putting his face in his hand. This wasn't what he had planned. He wanted to have a nice place to study, where there was nobody. He even found the library difficult to concentrate at times. She then introduced herself as Irina, or Rina, as she liked to be called, and Larino decided to back away a little. He was getting himself into the middle of things, and it seemed that all of these were friends. He always seemed to get himself into the middle of things. He would've headed back down the stairs, if it weren't for everyone standing in the doorway. While he was (unsuccessfully) trying to hide, the once who ha shoved him, Luci, decided to speak to him. “Look. We met on the wrong terms,” He said, making Larino stop trying to hide, and instead listen. “Larino. Hello. I am Lucian Michael Bauer Mornstern, yes that Mornstern. I apologise for giving you a tap on the back for staring at my friend like a weirdo and feeling like laughing when gravity gave up on you. Believe me, saying ‘hi’ in awkward way is waaaay better than staring at a random girl.” "It's okay." He said quietly, not finding the courage to speak properly. Probably another shutdown. He thought, hoping it wasn't, since it couldn't be worse timing. "What you did to me... it's not the first time." And it certainly won't be the last. He finished in his thoughts.
Luci then called the girl who was there all along Thorn, and Larino instantly remembered her from the Slytherin Table back in September. He had a pretty good memory, but it was the little things like this that just seemed to slip away from him. He then noticed another girl standing in the doorway, who came in after Rina, and simply introduced herself as Taisia. Finding the courage to speak again, Larino spoke, "Hi. Your timing may be a little awkward." But of course, being him, he said it rather quietly, so it was unlikely that anyone could hear him. ReducioA lot had happened since he tried to stand up for himself, and he was left speechless. While trying to back away into the corner since the doorway was blocked, the one who had shoved him apologized, and a few others came up the stairs simultaneously, or at least it seemed that way. What he secretly found quite amusing, was Taiaia's calm entrance, since she had absolutely no idea what was happening.
