You have to actively maintain the spell.

Hi Beatrice! I remembered having a similar question when I was working on that lesson in the past, but that I had found someone else had already asked about it. I've located Professor Fresnel's answer regarding fill in the blank questions, which might be helpful for the first part of your question. However, I couldn't find anything as to whether you may make additions, so you may want to wait for additional clarification on that part.

Any suggestion to meet the word count will be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance, Professor!

So for this question the 50-word requirement will still need to be met to not lose any points but I can see the challenges that come with that as both etymologies are relatively straightforward. When I go back and edit this lesson I may look to expand the question or change it altogether so that it is easier to meet the WC. Past students have sometimes mentioned their opinions on the etymology, pronunciation, or tricks they will use to remember etc etc. So hopefully those ideas help you get those 5 extra words

Hello dear!
For fill-in-the-blanks you can always just copy straight from my lecture. Word counts are never applicable for fill-in-the-blanks so you do not need to elaborate on the answer but you can if you'd like.
If you have more questions or need further clarification please do not hesitate to ask!
