Bailey was writing and writing and writing. All the same thing, the many copies of the Animal Club that she had taken over from Lily Blaze. Lily had too much on her plate, and Bailey had volunteered to take over. Of course, Kim was her VP, as always.

Bailey woke up, and realized that it was a Sunday. December 5th to be specific, the day of her animal club meeting. Getting up and dressed, Bailey packed her bag. She put in Twinkles cat treats, some cookies and other tea treats - all chocolate free- the day before. Bailey also added her wand, her water bottle and some other miscellaneous things.
After eating a quick breakfast, Bailey went back to get Twinkle. Then she headed outside to set up. It was 9:45, she had 45 minutes till the meeting officially started.
Setting out her hogwarts house picnic blanket, barely set out all the treats.
Everything was ready and set out- the human food, the animal snack bar, the thermos of hot chocolate, and hot water for tea, and the bowls of food for the animals.
Bailey was grateful she had wore the extra jacket- it was a tad chilly. The sun was shining though, and it some snow flurries were falling!!!
Twinkle kept jumping up trying to catch the snowflakes, which was adorable.
After a few minutes of jumping Twinkle got tired, so she snuggled into Baileys lap where she remained. Soon, the first people would be showing up.
Glancing at her watch, Bailey saw that it was 10:05 AM.
Surely the first people will show up soon.. Bailey thought, opening a book to pass the time.

Meeting Two- Animal Club
It was Dec 5th, and the night before, she had received a letter from Bailey, the new member of the Animal Lovers club, that the meeting would take place at 10:30 am on Dec 5th in the grounds. So, when Rita got up at 9 am in the morning, after putting on some warm clothes, since it was December and quite cold with even the snow falling, brushing her teeth, washing her face, and eating a quick breakfast, she decided to give Peanut some sort of cleaning up, and put some animal food and toys in her bag, then she went out of her plant palace dorm taking Peanut and headed to the grounds at roughly 10 am to join the Animal Lovers club meeting organized by Bailey.
When Rita arrived the grounds, she found out she was 10 minutes earlier, and was the first person to arrive at the meeting. Bai had had everything set up, with some food for both human and animals and hot chocolate and tea for the cold season with the snow, all put tidily on the picnic blanket. "Hi, Bai! How are you feeling today? Sort of cold, isn`t it? Thanks for setting everything up! We are here for the Animal Lovers meeting, right? Your cat Twinkle is very adorable by the way!" Rita put Peanut down on the ground and the lazy cat quickly fell asleep, before waving to the older Ravenclaw with a smile. The Hufflepuff then took a cup of hot chocolate to drink for the cold season and sat somewhere on the blanket to wait for other club members to come. It was still some time prior to the scheduled meeting time, but Rita thought other club members would arrive very soon.

────────────────────────────────I had wanted to join more clubs, so I thought I would give this one a try. I got to bring and play with Zara, so that was a bonus. I had been worried about Zara running off into the forest, so as an early Christmas present my Mum had sent me a cat harness and leash, I hadn’t tried it out, but I had been planning to take her for an outdoor walk once the snow melted.
On December fourth I had gotten a owl from Bailey and she had the meeting planned for tomorrow. Luckily I didn’t have any plans, besides playing with Zara and doing homework.

The day of the meeting I packed a small bag of cat treats and Zara’s favorite cat toy, a catnip filled fish. I put the harness on Zara and let her get used to the feeling. It took a little while, but after a bit she let go of her hard feelings. I didn’t clip the leash on until we got to the door, and I clipped it on and stepped outside.
I began looking around for the meeting, and finally found them in a nice spot in the grounds. It was flurring, and it was beautiful. I knew two of the students, Kim and Bailey, but I didn’t know the other two.
“Hello everyone! I’m Charlie, and this is Zara!” I said to the group.

ㅤ──────────────────────| ── | Kim had woken up at 10AM. The earliest time he could possibly make himself get up in the morning hours. But it was an improvement. Back during his first year he hadn't been able to get up anytime before 11AM, unless it was for a class. The first thing he did when he got up was choose an outfit for the day and as it was a cold day and he would be going outside for the Animal Club meeting, he decided on black. Whatever sunlight shone down would soak up the black material and make him a lot warmer. Pulling on his turtleneck and black pants and shoes, Kim put on his accessories and let Puffie hop onto his shoulder. He quickly downed the contents of an allergy potion and decided to go down to the Great Hall to grab some items. After all, he didn't have time to cook or bake anything as it was early in the morning. Yes, he didn't need to do this. But going without bringing anything to snack on just felt strange to him and he didn't want to feel that way. Puffie was happy sitting on his shoulder, he'd been awake for awhile now, and his bug eyes went this way and that way as Kim headed down to the Great Hall. This time he hadn't brought his satchel because it was a pet meeting and he didn't think he needed to bring anything in particular. Bailey hadn't told him to do so anyway and that was all that mattered to him. Kim filled up the large container he'd brought with three small items. Ham and cheese croissants, crisp strips of bacon and apple tarts. The teen fed Puffie a pygmy treat, which the pink puffball happily munched on and snuggled up against his neck. Clad in his usual long brown jacket, the one he tended to lend to Bailey from time to time, Kim went out into the coldness that made one realize winter had officially arrived at Hogwarts. The green haired teen approached his destination, only to slow his pace down upon seeing Bailey's cat curled up in her lap. He wouldn't be having an allergy attack due to having consumed the potion beforehand, but that didn't get rid of the trauma he'd suffered at the hands of them. It was 10:15AM but Kim didn't want to go closer to the area. So he merely raised a hand to wave. From where he was at. Of course, when the rest of the club met, Kim would have to go over but until then he'd stay where he was. To calculate how many felines he would have to avoid in the process. Cats tended to want to go to him all the time. Even though he didn't want them to, they seemed to love him. Kim went over to the side and leaned up against a nearby tree waiting for the club's members to arrive so that he could tally up how many cats there were. Puffie seemed eager to interact but as he was on Kim's shoulder and Kim gave him a look the pink puff wisely stayed. Rita came. With a cat. Okay, two cats. Rita's cat had been placed down beside Bailey's cat, so the cats were in the same general area. Easy to avoid later. He didn't see either cat on a leash though, even though Bailey's owl had stated that leashes were required, unless they had their pets under control. Hopefully they would be under control and wouldn't go running after him later on. Lily Blaze came next with her pet ferret, Frisbee. Kim remembered Frisbee and actually liked him. He wasn't a cat... anything would be better than a cat. Not that ferrets were low on his list, he liked spending time with ferrets. Two more members came which was when Kim decided to go over, at least to put down the container. Carefully making sure to only come over when the two cats weren't looking in his direction, Kim quickly set the container down onto the blanket and then backed away from the area. He gave a nod to everyone present and then sat down on the edge of the blanket, as far away as possible from the two cats. But if the felines got to their feet and started coming over to him, he'd jump up and dash away. "Please eat if you wish, there are ham and cheese croissants, crispy bacon strips and apple tarts." Kim told everyone. He wanted to look at them but couldn't. Mostly because he had to stare at the cats. To make sure they weren't going to come over to him. He didn't trust them, especially when they were free. Cats were inquisitive creatures and always wanted to explore or go up to people. It was a fact that couldn't be denied and that was what made them so dangerous to him. If they'd been on leashes that would have been one thing but none of them were, so Kim was feeling a bit skittish. The only one that he wasn't too worried about was Zara, because she was in a harness. He loved her owner for that because having to deal with keeping his eyes on three cats at once was too much for him to handle. It reminded him of the time he'd experienced during the Freeze Tag game. Where three, or had it been four, cats had been all over the place. Kim shuddered at the thought and banished the memory from his mind, trying not to think about it again. When she woke up at half past six - her usual wake-up time - the next day, Ayuna was excited. She couldn't wait to attend the meeting and meet other people and their pets! For this occasion, the girl had chosen a large black hoodie with a fuzzy white sweater underneath. Jeans and spunky winter boots completed the look. Because she will be playing with animals, Ayuna tied her raven black hair into a high ponytail with a blue scrunchy, as to not get any fur of feathers in her hair.
After finishing the usual business of eating breakfast, there was still about an hour before 10:30. The girl scribbled some notes on a black notebook and read some books about animals in the library. Looking her wristwatch, Ayuna realized it was already 10:15! She grabbed an enchanted satchel sitting on the beside table stuffed with ice cream cupcakes (she casted a spell to stop them from melting) and scurried out of the common room.
So here she is, walking swiftly to the meeting place and trying to avoid the cats. "Hi Guys!" she said, putting on her best face, "I'm Ayuna and here are some ice cream cupcakes to enjoy!"

Bailey was sitting, reading with Twinkle on her lap when the first club member showed up- Rita su.
Bailey glanced up as Rita approached and replied to Rita, saying “Hello Rita! This is the Animal Club Meeting! And thank you! Feel free to enjoy a snack or a drink while we wait for everyone else to show up!
Next to arrive was Lily, and Bailey smiled. “Great minds think alike!” Bailey said in regards to both of them bringing a book.
“Of course! Have some cookies, or a sandwich, or a drink or some of everything! It’s here for people to enjoy!” Bailey said smiling.
Charlie with her cat Zara were next to arrive, and Bailey smiled. Twinkle sat up to say hello to her friend, and Bailey said to Charlie “Welcome! You know me, Bailey Glade, and this is Twinkle! How are you? And please enjoy some of the treats i have here- no need to ask, just enjoy them!”
Ayuna was the last in the current group to arrive, and she carried treats- ice cream cupcakes to be exact.
“Welcome Ayuna!”
Bailey said, smiling.
“No worries about not having a pet, you can cuddle Twinkle if you would like! Twinkle is my cat, and she’s super friendly and sweet! And thank you for bringing the ice cream cupcakes!”

She was supposed to be attending the second meeting of the animal lovers club, which was now run by Bailey Glade as Lily was now too busy to host the club. This was a shame, Kayla liked Lily. But Kayla liked Bailey a lot too, so this wasn't a problem.
So, back to why she was late. She slept in.
Kayla got the owl and had told herself to wake up early so she could come early, but since she couldn't exactly rely on Squeaky to wake her up or her alarm clock which she forgot to set. The consequence was she woke up at around 10:20AM, ten minutes before the meaning. Kayla usually took quite a bit of time getting ready, so this was a problem. She woke up, realizing she was going to be late, then she jumped out of her bed to take the quickest shower imaginable. She didn't have time to decide what she was to wear, so she put on black sweatpants, a white shirt and a jacket and ran out her common room with no time to spare. Then she turned back to get Squeaky.
Squeaky was a sassy ferret. She liked to befree and walk wherever she wanted, but Bailey specifically said they should put their pets on leashes. So, Kayla had to force Squeaky to wear a comfortable harness type of collar, and she had a self-walking leash she bought the day she got Squeaky. It might've been self walking, but Kayla still held the one end of it, just to be safe.
Kayla got there seven minutes late.
She spotted Kim's green hair first, then started to see Lily, Rita and, of course, Bailey. Kayla first rushed to the club leader, Squeaky following reluctantly behind.
"Bai-- Bailey! I'm so sorry, I know I'm late- please don't take me off the memeberlist," she pleaded. She took notice that Squeaky was making moves on the cats in the area and Kayla scooped her up.
"Not now, girl!" she said to Squeaky.

────────────────────────────────I ended up sitting next to the Chinese girl [@Rita Su] that I didn’t know. She seemed nice and had a cute orange cat.
I helped myself to some of the ice cream that had been brought, wanting to have some cold before it melted. It was good. I let go of Zara’s leash and threw her toy next to Twinkle, hoping Zara would hang out with her.
I continued eating my ice cream while I noticed Kim shuttering over away from everyone else. “Hey Kim! Why not you come over and try this ice cream?” I asked hoping he liked ice cream and wasn’t afraid of cats or ferrets.
Another girl came rushing in with a ferret and started to frantically beg Bailey not to take her out of the club for being late. I knew Bailey would never do that but I guess others didn’t sit down and basically have a heart to heart conversation in their common room.
I turned to the girl and began talking to her. “Hello, I’m Charlie! I don’t think I have met you and your cat before! I’m a Ravenclaw and this is my cat Zara,” I told her. I petted Zara’s head as she dashed behind me to hide. “She’s very shy,” I added.────────────────────────────────

Kim let his blue eyes flicker over her as she approached them. The girl introduced herself as Ayuna. She'd also brought some ice cream cupcakes. A lovely invention to be sure! He noticed that the girl hadn't brought her pet with her, at least not that he could see at the moment. This meant either her pet was small enough to be fully concealed, was sick and couldn't come, or she didn't have a pet yet. If it was the latter, Kim wondered what kind of pet she'd want to have. Reaching over to grab a crispy piece of bacon, the green haired teen munched on the end piece. They always tended to be the crispiest, which meant the tastiest bits.. He regarded the others who had gathered but was silent, letting Bailey take control of the club. Kim had never been much of a socializer and preferred to watch and listen to others. The only times he tended to become vocal on his own were when he was the leader of a club, or someone asked him a question. Yet another member showed up, a little late but not too late. Kayla. Or Lala as he referred to her as. Squeaky, her ferret, was adorable as always and Kim couldn't help but smile. Animals were surely one of his weak points... Well, as long as they weren't cats. Then again, technically cats could be considered a weak point of his, but in a much different manner. Kim watched as Squeaky tried to go after the cats in the area and couldn't help but applaud the ferret. It was what he'd want her to do. If Squeaky could get rid of the cats, it would be a much better meeting for him! However, Kayla scooped her up and scolded her, which made Kim smirk. It was around this time that his attention was drawn towards Charlie, who spoke about coming over to grab some ice cream cupcakes. Eyeing the cats milling around, Kim waited until there was a break in the general area where the cakes were. He quickly moved forward to snatch a cupcake up and then scooted backward again, giving Charlie a nod in response to her earlier words. "It looks like a great invention. I wonder what recipe Ayuna used for these." Kim remarked as he let his eyes flicker over the cupcake. Puffie looked down from his shoulder at the item too. The puffball tilted his head to the side, almost as if he was considering trying to eat it too. "No, it's not for you, Puffie. You wouldn't like something like this." Kim told the pink pygmy puff. The teen reached up to scratch Puffie's head a little. He bit into the ice cream cupcake and savored the flavors, thinking about each one and contemplating. Placing what remained of the piece of bacon he'd had in his hand earlier on top of the cupcake, Kim took another bite but with some bacon too. Oooo much better! "You should all try one of the cupcakes with some bacon on it." He suggested, raising his voice a little. If people hadn't tried this combination, they were truly missing out on a great flavor combination. For those who wanted to try it, they could take a piece of crispy bacon from the large container Kim had brought when he'd first arrived here for the meeting. It was currently placed near the other food items on the blanket, tempting everyone to try them! |

Kim was letting bailey take control, and she felt like that was his default. Let her do the talking and he would be the silent support, and her rock. That was the thing of their friendship- he was the moon to her sunniness, the rock to her free flowing spirit.
They were eating food now, and Bailey was smiling looking around. This was like her peaceful mind club, very Calming but with added animals and pets and more food.
When Kim recommended trying bacon with the cupcake, Bailey just had to try.
She tried it, and absolutely loved it!!
Smiling at Kim, Bailey had a few things flowing though her mind. most importantly she was thinking about what they should do in this meeting of the club.
After a moment bailey spoke up, and as she smiled at the group gathered there, Bailey was happy. She spoke up and said "hello! Thank you all for coming!!! As this is a club meeting, i want to hear from you guys what you want to see happen, and what you want us to make happen with this club!! i have some ideas but i want to do what you guys are interested in - so here's your chance to make recommendation!"
