Slytherin vs Ravenclaw: Match 4
Seeing his spell miss was no small cause for frustration, but Pericles didn't allow it to distract him, nothing more manifesting than a twitch of the upper lip. When Phae met his glance, her confidence was answered with a reassured nod. An arm tried to block his face while he withstood the billowing Ventus. The fourth-year was looking worn, though that wouldn't stop him. Their opponents hitting the ground was definitely cause for inspiration. "Well cast," he called over the wind, knuckles white around his wand.

Slytherin vs Ravenclaw: Match 4

Banner by Hanako Tone
With the smoke in the air, Santario wasn’t wholly sure her spell had gone off course, but something had felt wrong in the direction it started off in. At least it hadn’t gone toward Dmitri; that was the last thing she needed. As she analyzed what would have caused her misdirection, she felt her muscles contract painfully as if she had been taken over by the worst muscle cramps she had ever felt. She knew what was coming next. San had seen it one too many times. Her body teetered backward, with nothing to brace the back of her head from slamming hard into the piste. She would be surprised if she wasn’t concussed, but that could be dealt with later. The only thing that mattered right now was trying to break free.

Slytherin vs Ravenclaw: Match 4
Urged into action by the now dispersing Nebulus cloud, Phaedra effortlessly bound the limbs of both opponents, the sounds of their collapsing signaling a momentary relief. Bullseye. Like Slytherin, Ravenclaw had too abandoned defenses in favour of raw aggression. This match was a game of push and pull, but she and Pericles would not allow themselves to be pushed into an inescapable corner. Meeting her partner’s eyes through her own personal wind storm, she called out, “Don’t let up.”Doing as strategized (x)

Dmitri would manage to will his body into moving again, however all of his movement still felt sluggish as if wading through water. Santario was not so lucky as the Body-Bind would continue to render her motionless. Phaedra would use this short break to heal up herself and her ally, whereas Peri decided to use a move that was technically legal but rather sneaky, causing Alan to furrow his brows as he summoned a storm over the heads of the previously petrified Slytherin students. However none of the lightning strikes that fell from the clouds found a target and it was probably the first round since this duel started in which no one had been hit by something nasty.

Dmitri brushed a hand over his cloak as he stood up from his prone position—shrugging the Petrificus off as if it was nothing more than condensation on his pale skin.
"I guess breaktime's over."
Time for another bout, he thought to himself, smiling as he raised his wand in front of him.

Even if it was only for a moment, their opponents were down, and Phaedra followed up with a wave of healing magic for them both. Pericles allowed himself a small breath of relief, though her encouragement prevented him from dropping his guard. "Right," he murmured resolutely, resuming a readied stance. He had gradually stopped making star-struck looks at his upperclassmen, honing in on the match, even if it had taken several blows to the head to get him there. With a sly squint, Peri took advantage of the lapse. "Metelojinx" was hissed just above a whisper, and a grim storm cloud accumulated with the sweeping movement of his wand. He glanced to the side, gauging Alan's reaction to his "technically legal" action, answering with a sheepish smile and short shrug.

Santario stared at the ceiling, trying to push back against the invisible bounds that held her to no avail. Dmitri spoke, which told her he was up and moving; there was that, at least. Then dark clouds started to brew overhead. Smart, I would have done the same. Probably Pear since Phaedra has been the one healing. She thought idly as she lay there. Statistically, how often I have been able to record lightning striking has not been that often, so I am probably fine… Then again, if it did strike, I cannot move. Well, nothing to be done about it. At least if I cannot move, no one can hear me scream either. Really saves me from that embarrassment. When you were confined to the ground, unable to move, time took forever to move along; seconds felt like hours as her mind prattled on to distract her from the current predicament. I bet it is really nice outside right now. The air is probably crisp and clean smelling……

Slytherin vs Ravenclaw: Match 4
With both opponents immobilized, there was no other option than to attack passively, lest they receive the ire of moderator Alan. True to their house, Pericles smartly summoned a cloud—Phaedra could not help but ponder the sight from the Slytherin angle, flat on the ground—while she tended to her side’s collective wounds. “Reparifors.” It was just over the halfway point now. On the bright side, they weren’t performing terribly, but Phaedra was never one to settle for a low bar.Doing as strategized (x)

A singular slithering snake watched as two ravens closed in around him. Would he bare his fangs and strike? Would the Raven's dive-bomb the solo snake as storm clouds crackled in the back? Would Alan be able to sate the odd, ever so tiny desire for candy soon?
No, Alan would not be able to. The piste devolved into chaos as the two Raven claws opened fire on sole moving Slytherin, Dmitri. Phaedra would whisk another Petrificus Totalus into being, clearly aiming to keep the snakes motionless for as long as possible. If Phaedra were to fail, Pericles worked on a Expelliarmus to at least keep Dmitri from casting.
But Dmitri was still able to move, still able to cast - he would still be able to protect himself. Shimmering light would flicker into being as his Protego came into being. Pericles' Expelliarmus would impact first - a hard thud erupting from the temporary shield as the spell's energy dissipated out of being. Phaedra's Petrificus Totalus would hit mere moments later, this time the magic would not dissipate. It would head strait for the helpless Santario.
The spell would not make it to Santario though. Alan's wand was out and at the ready. His own Finite Incantatem came spitting onto the piste to intercept the rogue magic. Red would collide with purple before both spells ceased existing. Alan would take a step back to his moderating position.
The storm clouds would rumble overhead, not to be forgotten by the spectacle seconds earlier. Two lightning bolts would shoot down towards the snakes. And two bolts would land near centimeters away from their targets. A friendly reminder that the clouds were still a threat. Dmitri and Santario would be able to taste the electric current with how close it had been.
And maybe it was that current which invigorated Santario's body, muscles loosening, joints unlocking. She would stand up and rejoin the fray and whatever chaos it would lead to.

Slytherin vs Ravenclaw: Match 4
The Eagles were battling valiantly, between their spells and the crackling thundercloud, yet the Slytherins were enduring them. Dmitri's shield rendered Pericles and Phaedra's casts null, his partner only spared the recoil due to her paralysis. Shame, that. Peri's mouth twisted into a grimace of concentration. The situation hadn't budged, save Santario was back on her feet. Time was running out.
