I was also considering how I’d show the monsters if I don’t do a map- and instead verbally describe everything- Ic. Including the monsters- I think I’ll probably have a picture from the Field Guides for those

but it's the best one i could come up with!
also, it's gotta be kinda hard to describe monsters yeah? I mean you can't just always say "ooh it's big and spooky!"
