Christmas Shopping

It was Dec 23rd, the first day of the Christmas break in Hogwarts, and exactly two days before the Christmas. It was the first time that Rita came home when the new academic year in Hogwarts started. It was true that there was a lot of amazing things to do around Hogwarts besides studying to keep Rita busy, such as meeting up with new people and old friends, playing Quidditch, and participating all kinds of activities and events such as meetings of a handful of clubs around Hogwarts Rita signed up for and the crazy and fun fall ball with students from other magic schools also participating in. However, such a Londoner, for Rita, there was no place like her muggle home in London. Hogwarts is in Scotland, quite far from London, so soon as Christmas holidays began, Rita took the train and went back to London to spend the Christmas with her family. It was just a small family with only four people, her dad, her mum, her younger brother and herself, and Rita was the only person that knew about magic and went to a magical school, but that did not mean the family was not sweet. Rita`s parents had high expectations for her, but they were supportive of Rita`s decisions, and understood their daughter was a little different from the other 13-year-old kids her age and went to a different school, though they did not understand the reason why. Anyway, during Rita`s time in Hogwarts, she missed movie nights and traveling with her family, missed taking care of her younger brother, missed the delicious food cooked by her mum, and pretty much everything in her family. Thankfully, it was Christmas break now, and it was finally time that Rita could meet with her little muggle family in London.
However, Rita could not spend time with her family for too long, as she was called by her parents the next day to buy some Christmas decoration for the family since it was exactly one day before Christmas, Dec 24th. Rita wished to spend more time with her family, however, there were actually no many things to do at home, and she actually wanted to go out and wander around the London streets, and maybe meet some Londoners that also came home from Hogwarts for Christmas to have a chat. Anyway, bringing some muggle money and a shopping bag, Rita left home on the second day of the Christmas break to do some Christmas shopping for the family on the London streets, which was carefully decorated with the Christmas colors, red and green, with Christmas songs surrounding the busy metropolis London streets.

"Get home safe André!! Have fun!" his mother called from the door as he walked out the door. He looked over his shoulder and smiled at her, "Ill be fine mom. I will make sure to be home for dinner" he told her. He began to walk down the Familiar streets of London, ready to do a bit of last minute Christmas shopping.
André loved the way snow looked, although how cold it was always made him well- cold. He still had to get gifts for his sister and father. He knew what he wanted to make them he just had to get the supplies. He was going to hand paint & make his dad a cup, and make his sister a Ravenclaw inspired picture fame. And himself a matching hufflepuff one to out his favorite photo of him and her in.
All he needed was supplies, like paint, frames, clay, and any other decorative stuff he might find. He let out a sigh, knowing he could just find things that had Ravenclaw written on them. Or stuff with his dads school on it. As this was a muggle town.
Walking he saw someone he might have seen at school. He might as well walk up to her and ask. Worst thing that could happen was she was a muggle and he could Olay it off as a.prank right? "Hey.. Umm do you know what a Ravenclaw is?" he asked. Ravenclaw was easier to play off as a prank then hufflepuff, André thought.

OOC notes Reducio forgive me for my lack of knowledge about the currency used in London, I tried looking it up. All I got from Google was that its called pound, Im unsure if the plural is pounds. If someone could let me know that would be greatly appreciated. I'm not the best at writing it but André's mother speaks with a light French accent. |

Rita was just wandering around the busy London streets surrounded by Christmas trees, fake gifts, and other Christmas colored decorations, as well as the Christmas songs and trying to find a grocery store to buy some final Christmas decorations for her muggle family in London since it would be Christmas tomorr0w when a boy seemly to be younger or at the same age as her with short curly black hair wearing a light brown sweater stopped her. "Who is this boy? I may or may not have seen him before. I even don`t know him, he might be a school from Hogwarts, or he might be just a normal muggle boy in London. But why does he stop me when I am just buying some decoration for Christmas? Just a weird boy." Rita thought when she turned to the boy with a surprised look.
Then, the boy asked an even more strange question to Rita. He asked her if she knew what a Ravenclaw was. "Then that weird boy must be a student from Hogwarts. Maybe he also thinks I just a normal muggle child from London and wants to pull a prank on me." Rita thought for a while how to respond to the boy, then turned to him thinking he must be a weirdo, "Who are you? Are you from Hogwarts? You are behaving so weird. Why are you stopping me and asking me such a strange question? What do you wanna do with me? I am not a threat! I am just trying to find a grocery store to buy some Christmas decoration for my family, cos tonight is Christmas eve!" "Such a weird boy, I should have brought my wand or my cat Peanut for some protection! You are lucky, you weird boy, I don`t wanna fight with you with bare hand, I don`t know any martial arts, unless you really do something to me! I am just finding a grocery store in the busy streets in London to buy some Christmas decoration for my family, and I don`t want to cause any trouble, unless you really do something to me! I am just a plain muggle-born wizard trying to help my muggle family on Christmas holiday, not any threat, OK?" Rita thought as she waited for the weird boy for response.
