By no means was Logan the fastest person to make it through the maze, but not everyone was also guiding a cat and making sure not to lose their best friends pet spider at the same time. The girl had really wished she had worn other shoes as well, the straps of the sandals rubbing against the back of her heals and beginning to cause blisters. "Stupid shoes," she muttered grumpily as she looked at the other students who had made their way out of the before her. She was curious as to how everyone else was doing, even more curious about what Elsi was up to, she hoped he was enjoying himself.

At least Logan was not the damsel, because she would not have done well being stuck up in the tower with a bunch of other students doing who knows what. Glancing up, the Hufflepuff sighed as she noticed what the next task was, finding a key. Of course she would have to find a key in the piles of treasure, why would something be even slightly easy when it came to this school. "I swear if there are keys other than the one I need, I am going to scream," she muttered to the cat and the spider the a huff as she looked down at the small creatures sitting at her feet and clinging to the gold shimmer on her dress.

Nonchalantly looking for the key

Her feet loudly hit the ground as she made her way through the maze, the feathers of her dress dragging over the ground, the light from her wand lighting the path. Was she almost out of this horrible place? This dress was definitely not suited for running and Samantha almost tripped because of it. After cursing her dress for a bit, the young girl finally spotted the end of the maze.

With high hopes of Bubba waiting for her on the other side, she stumbled out of the maze. Disappointed by the lack of her date and the presence of Pea, who she only knew from the one time she had seen Pea with Cash a year ago, which obliviously was enough of a reason to dislike the younger student. The only student Samantha was happy to see was Bailey, who she greeted with a little smile and wave.

However, she didn't have too much time for chatter as her lovely date needed saving. When the instructions called those who needed to be saved princesses, Samantha giggled a little as she imagined Bubba in a princess dress with long wavy hair. It wasn't too bad. Shaking off the thought, she started to look through the coins in hopes to find the key.

It had taken what felt like a few hours but Bubba had finally found the brew of which the witch had spoken. But what did it do? Could he trust it? Was it safe to drink? Bubba could only assume that he was in a game like one of those Saw movies he'd heard about but never seen (horror, ew). That means he would have to drink the potion and live (or possibly not) with the consequences. "Come out to the ball, we'll get together, have a few laughs..." he said to himself as he considered the bottle in his hands. He certainly wasn't going to stay here all night. He had to get back to Sam, and help her if she needed rescuing. What if she hadn't found her potion? What if some other fresh hell awaited her?

He took the stopper out of the potion and smelled it. "Jesus it smells like Charles River after Saint Patrick's Day," he said to himself as he tried to summon the intestinal fortitude to drink it. "Yippee-ki-yay," he said to himself as he tipped the potion back into his mouth. It tasted quite as foul as it smelled and it took all his self-control to suppress his gag reflex and not vomit. "Ok, now what?" He asked himself. For a moment nothing happened, and then his question was answered.

His short, perfectly parted hair started to grow. And grow, and grow. It kept getting longer and longer for almost a full minute until he was almost crushed by it as it nearly filled the entire owlery. "Now I know what a T.V. dinner feels like," Bubba said as he carefully maneuvered himself to one of the open owlery windows. "Well, what the hell am I supposed to do now?" He asked himself.

The answer became readily apparent as he reached the window and looked down. "Oh for god's sake," he said to himself with a groan, "I'm doing a shot-for-shot remake of Rapunzel. Hope someone's down there to climb up." And with that, he started to braid, silently hoping that anyone was down there to help, but praying it was Sam. If anyone could save him, it was his lovely Sam.

He startled, glancing up from where he’d been attempting something resembling a braid at Kims voice. Whether or not it would hold up in the foreseeable future remained to be seen however and Elsian found himself all too willing to call it a day with what he’d done so far, tossing down his finished work and hoping for the best that the tie and braid would hold.

If it sucked? Oh well.

He was sure Queenie would understand. Elsian had never claimed to be a skilled damsel, just a delicate one.

With a huff and a toss of the hair he walked over only to stop dead in his tracks at the sight of the other. “Kim?” He laughed, a sharp bark that had him doubling over in on himself for a hot second. What the hell had happened to the other?! “Is that really you?” He hissed, words forced between breathless giggles he failed to stifle. The other looked horrible! Or rather, horribly amazing. Had he planned that look or had something just gone terribly right to lead to the magnificence that was pumpkin Rapunzel?

“I-” He stifled another snicker, straightening enough to close the small bit of distance between them. “I love the new look. Orange really suits you, but don’t you think you went a bit far?” With an amused huff he plopped himself right down on the nearest surface he could, which happened to be the floor. Easy resting place. “Sooo,” he drawled, “what’s up? You got that look in your eye.”

Pea is getting a little more intrigued by the game. It was definitely thrilling seeing someone struggling this time. What is more fun than seeing a bunch of kids creating chaos while seeking for a small piece of golden metal. Pea already know the frustration these people will reveal when they could not find the key they are looking for.

The Rescuers
The rescuers who manage to escape the maze was given instructions by Pea herself. Their next task is to find one golden key each in the middle of piles of golden treasures. Surely it was greedy people's dream to swim in this pile of gold. But if they do manage to steal some treasures, that poor soul would probably be disappointed when they found out the treasures are mostly just transfigured rocks. Most of the gallant rescuers are now already started looking for their precious keys. But one rescuer with the keenest eye sure found it quick enough. Logan Baird, a senior Hufflepuff prefect manages to find the key first. "yay- you are the first to find the key- congrats," Pea says again in a very unenthusiastic sarcastic tone to the puff's senior. Logan is soon followed by, David Howard, who are previously the first ones to finish the maze. It seems that he might be turning into a formidable opponent for the other rescuers. David is also soon followed by Bailey Glade, who previously finished second at the maze. Perhaps this is a rivalry starting to stir between the two.

The Damsel
There were mountains and mountains of colorful hair splayed in the owlery tower. It was indeed a very interesting sight. Most of the damsels have drunk their potion and started braiding their hair. It is difficult for the committees to look around the room while watching their progress because they don't want to accidentally steps on their luscious hair, but it happens anyway, they still step on their mane. Minutes pass as they keep braiding- and braiding their hair. This is definitely quite a tedious and tiring task as they need to braid pounds and pounds of hair, especially with the boys who never braid their hair for once in their life. But with a surprising turn of events, the first person to complete their gorgeous braiding is Kim Sato, a second-year boy who maybe has some experience in braiding that he finish it quicker than everyone. "You are the first to finish your braid-" One of the committee in a black robe says to the blonde boy. "Poor soul thinks he can get out of here." The committee laughs maniacally as they are acting to be one of the witch's minions. Unlike the other certain white-haired committee, here everyone takes their acting role seriously. Kim was later followed by Chiaki Hiroi, Lloyd Matthews Thomas, and Ashleigh Hazelwood.

======================== One pair had been eliminated from the game. Unfortunately, the crying girl he'd just discovered was part of that particular pair in there. It seemed as if she'd had enough of the game and she and her partner were withdrawing, which was a shame. Hiro would have liked to have seen more of her and gotten to know her better. He waited for a short time for one of the committee members to come find her and escort her out and then headed off again. Perhaps this was the reason as to why he had taken a bit longer to navigate the maze. But he couldn't just let the girl be on her own! She was scared and it was dark in there. Hiro continued to move through the maze and eventually was able to find a faint light in the distance. Nope, it wasn't a light, it was someone hair shining somehow. A very beautiful girl with white hair emerged into his sight and Hiro raised a brow. "Well, hello there! I must say, you make the world much more interesting!" He remarked, letting his dark eyes flicker over Pea Elena Fowl. "You're the type of girl people write love songs about!" Hiro added as well. As Pea complained about how long it had taken, Hiro made a face. "My apologizes, dear lady! If I'd known you would be waiting at the end, I wouldn't have wasted so much time before!" Hiro said with a grin on his lips. She looked around the same age as him, or perhaps a year older. But unfortunately, this was still a game and Hiro couldn't keep Monica waiting for him while he flirted with this beautiful girl! Still... "Might I know your name before I head off?" Hiro asked her, knowing what it was from the start of the game. After all, it had been announced before at the start. But he just wanted to hear her voice again! She almost looked like a Veela, perhaps she was part-Veela. Yes, that had to be it. Hiro had forgotten his wand had still been lit up all this time. But was reminded of it as he waited for Pea's response and flicked his wand to extinguish the light coming from the end of it. "Nox!" Hiro murmured, still slightly entranced by Pea's beauty. Was she doing this on purpose to give her an ethereal appearance for the game? Or was it just her true nature? Once he'd gotten some kind of response from Pea, Hiro would set off towards the tower, after having been given instructions. Reaching the bottom of the tower, Hiro saw a large amount of gold items laid about. He was supposed to find a golden key within? The pink haired boy didn't have much time, as he was one of the last to emerge from the maze. But perhaps luck would be with him. He got to work and sorted through the top layer of golden items. Those he checked, he set aside to the left and those he hadn't were shoved to the right. Slowly but surely, Hiro would find this golden key one way or another!

He bit his lip giving a small confused shrug. Well, yeah it was a bit hard to see he supposed but that…hadn’t quite been where he’d been going with this. Something told Elsian the 2 were not on the same page. Did he even-?

“Well yeah, I noticed it! How could I not?” And, well, ok so he had done it on purpose then? A pumpkin head was pretty fantastical he supposed, not that Elsian would have gone that route. Too troublesome, but he could appreciate the others' effort. “It’s certainly that,” he agreed with a laugh but the boys brow furrowed again, Elsians unsure look going unnoticed, “I mean the pumpk-” His words trailed off as Kim leaned closer and Elsi leaned forward the rest of the way brushing long hair aside to hear the others whisper.

He hid a snicker behind his hand, smiling hard.

“Always~” He whispered back.

It was a fight to not immediately laugh at the others' ideas. Oh how horrible it was! Horribly wonderful; a perfect prank, who knew when they’d ever get the chance to play sabotage in what was practically a fairy tale book for them all. “Alright,” he whispered, “try not to tangle up your own hair carrot top.” He teased, moving away towards his own victim.

Said victim being a younger boy, the poor sop. Elsian was all too happy to flop down by the other, moving his own finished hair into a pile near the others and dragging up the ends to look as if he was still working on it. In reality it was just propped so to hide how how grabbed some of the boys lighter hair, pulling some free strands towards himself and quickly passing unknown hair to Kim and gently snatching up some of the darker hair of Kim's own victim, quick to tightly braid the 2 unsuspecting boys hair together, with a few loosely wrapped and braided strands to make it all the harder to undo both pranksters hard work.

Smoothly he stood up, brushing his own braided hair down and making his way to the window without so much as a look back. Save for a small smirk thrown Kims way and a hidden laugh behind his hand as he waited for the others to realize they’d been had.
