It was a normal autumn afternoon for the green eyes. Well, it was not as normal as they would like. Ever since Henry had gone and Starlee was busy with whatever she was busy with these days, Cash was less and less seeing the blonde girl that was more like a sister to them just merely a best friend. The green eyes decided to stroll around during their free period.

For these couple of days, the Quidditch player had thrown themselves more into their homework and Prefect duties. Speaking of Prefect, Cash loves the perks that entail it. They can stroll after dark and catches some rule breakers. But the most part of being a Prefect was giving out detention. Now, they never gave out detention without a cause.

With this school being so big and the population of the school increasing each and every year, there were bound to be troublemakers or rulebreakers among them. Which was non-uncommon since a lot of them were in Wizarding school can be exciting. Today, Cash decided to take their feet off of tho the Grounds.

Being cooped up in their dorm room would not be good for their health and sanity. When the green eyes walk towards where the Ground was located, the chilly wind of autumn hit their face. It was not that cold but Cash chose to wear something warm to fight the uncertain temperature of the Scottish wind during this time of the year.

At first, the young Ironwoods thought that the Grounds will be empty during this time but it was not what it appeared to be. From the distance, they can see some shadows flying around on the Ground without supervision, and from the looks of it, something bad is bound to happen. When the shadow lost control of their broom and started to fall fast to the round, Cash ran as fast as their feet could take them.

They whipped out their wand and were ready to casted the slowing charm but with the distance from where Cash is right now and to the flying figure, there was still a foot or so between them thus making Cash could not perform the spell in time. The fourth year was out of breath when they reached the ground.

And just what they sense, the flying shadows already on the Ground and yell out pain. The green eyes let out a disbelieving scoff as they approached the person. It seems someone beat them to it. When Cash entered the ground, Rita Su of Hufflepuff already tend to the injured girl. Cash then stood beside both of them "Leave her be, Su"Cash said in a stern voice in their tone.

"Surely she can manage on her own since she is this daft,"They added. The broom that was her ride still hovers above the ground where the girl laying on it. "You know just because you know how to ride a broom, does not mean you are an expert on it,"Cash still continues to berate the foolish girl. "First of all, you are a first year,"Cash scanned the girl's face which seems young from both Cash and Rita.

"Second, I do not know how you manage to get or steal the school broom since the school broom only can be used when you are in Flying class which in this case you are not,"Said Cash still with annoyance. "I am sure Professor Miriam Stube will love to hear your excuse,"The Cuban descendant looked down on the girl.

"Not only you are flying under no supervision which was already dangerous in the first place and yet you still attempt to do so without thinking about the repercussion,"Cash let out an angry huff. "So tell me, foolish girl, whoever your name is, give me a solid reason why I should not write you up detention this instance?"The green eyes challenge the injured girl and hope whatever may come out of her mouth will definitely land her in detention.

Violet had hoped no one would see her but unfortunately she was wrong. She noticed a girl with hufflepuff robes saw her and walked towards her. Her leg was still hurting a bit but it wasn’t that unbearable. "Hey, could you please tell me what happened to you? Did you hurt yourself while flying in the broom high in the sky by yourself? You know it is really dangerous, don`t you? Anyway, is it something serious? Do you need me to take you to hospital wing?” Violet couldn’t answer immediately as the girl kept asking questions repeatedly without waiting for her answer. She would say the obvious things that happened to her to the first two questions but the next ones made her frown. The girl was saying it was dangerous, which Violet was fairly aware of, but at that moment she didn’t care much, she was just bored and looking for action with flying. She said to the girl that it was not serious and she’d be fine. She didn’t feel the need to go to the hospital wing for that, the pain would pass.

More unfortunately than that, she also noticed a slytherin girl coming towards her, and her badge showed that she was prefect. Violet felt some embarrassment showing up in her face.

“Leave her be, Su, Surely she can manage on her own since she is this daft” But the last word she said made Violet feel angry. How dare she call her that? Just because she was older and a prefect doesn’t mean she should call her that. But the prefect kept berating her about what she did and Violet had a hard time deciding to reply back or not, because it could cause more harm than good, especially when the person she’s speaking to was her house prefect.

She then annoyingly warned her about the consequences about flying without supervision.Her speaking tone made Violet even more mad and defensive but she also realised that she didn’t think about the detention consequence at all, in fact she genuinely didn’t know about that rule…or maybe she just forgot, she was not entirely sure..

She knew she needed to talk calmer to get a chance of not going to detention so she tried. “I genuinely didn’t know about the rules im…sorry. And I saw the door with brooms open and saw no professor there, and i didnt know it wasnt allowed" she admitted, hoping that the prefect would believe her and not send her to detention, despite her tone sounding still kinda angry because of being called a daft..

While waiting for Violet to answer Su million questioned, the Hufflepuff Quidditch player turned her attention from Violet to the Prefect. The young Hufflepuff asked how was Cash's day doing. Cash smiled at the kind yet small question. "My day doing great,"They answered. "Eventful"The last part they say is full of sarcasm, that they directedly for the young Slytherin.

"Just a kind suggestion, shall we make sure the poor girl did not hurt too much before any punishment was given? I can't help but worry about if the poor young Slytherin is hurt badly or not, though I agree a lesson should be learned for the poor girl"Rita said to the fourth-year. Even though Su knows that Violet broke the rules, she still has some compassion for the injured girl.

Bless her and bless her kind heart Cash thought to themselves. This is why Cash was not sorted into Hufflepuff. They lacked compassion and oftentimes the Beater thinks with their head, not with their heart. Once Su said that Cash contemplated whether they wanted to bring the fallen girl to Hospital Wing to be checked by Nurse Frogge.

"Can't argue with that,"The green eyes stated about the part where Su said the girl deserved a lesson after her foolish attempt of Flying around the Ground without any supervision near her vicinity. Finally, after some time passed, Violet answered Su million worth of questions. The grass-bund girl told the Second year that she was fine and it was not that serious.

"I beg to differ,"Cash scoffed under their breath but loud enough for the young students to hear their comment. Clearly, Violet's fall from the school broom was not as violent as falling from such great heights during the Quidditch match. But Quidditch matches or not, falling from a broom, no matter the circumstances, hurts like hell.

Cash was on the verge of leaving Violet by herself to soldiered her pain but as a Prefect, they had the obligation to keep their peer's well-being no matter how annoying or foolish the other person was. Su then excused herself after Violet said she was okay and bid her goodbye to both the Slytherins. "It was always nice seeing you, Su,"Cash said to the retreating girl.

Once Su was out off the Ground, Cash turned their attention to the girl. The sun begin to set and slowly the Ground turned from dusk into night. Still, Cash was waiting for Violet to open her mouth to spew some logical explanation of why she did what she did. “I genuinely didn’t know about the rules I'm…sorry. And I saw the door with brooms open and saw no professor there, and I didn't know it wasn't allowed"Expressed the first year to the Cuban descendant.

Cash reined themselves to not rolling their eyes at the half-attempt excuse that Violet told the young Ironwoods. Surely I was not this dumb during my first year they mulled to themselves. "So?"Cash said with irritation in their voice. "Just because the door with the brooms was opened and there was no Professor in sight, it was okay for you to take the broom for some joyride?"Cash shakes their head in disbelief.

"Try another excuse,"They stated. "On second thought, do not answer that,"Cash was out of their patience and do not want to deal with this matter any much longer. "The day is almost ending and I better bring you to the Hospital Wings to make sure you were okay even though you think it was not a big deal,"They continued.

"Come on then, up you get!"Cash said to Violet and waited for the girl to stand up on her own. Violet is a big girl and Cash definitely will not stretch out their hand to help the injured girl to stand on her own feet. Once Violet stood on her own feet, Cash then grabbed the crook of Violet's elbow and steered her towards the Hospital Wings.

"Just because I am nice to you right now, do not think I forgot about the foolish act you pulled earlier,"They said as both of them slowly trekked out from the Ground. "You just landed your first detention during your first year. Congratulation!"The Cuban descendant dished out their sarcasm, shoot a loop-sided smirk at the girl, and headed back toward the castle.

I will make the starter of detention in which I explain the context of the detention, the expectations, and the requirements to complete the detention and tag the three of you in it (since this is a joint detention, you will do it with Lexie Sereno and Rebecca Loops).

Only when I post the detention thread (probably once both Lexie and Rebecca posted in their own thread) will the detention rules go into effect. You can continue to RP in this thread to have your character react to the situation. If you have any questions, feel free to send me an owl or dm me.
