Rebecca clattered down the stairs leading from the castle and made his way into the grounds. He had half a mind to find a sunny spot to read his Transfiguration textbook, but the day was too beautiful to waste on studying! All the tension from being cooped up indoors melted away as he breathed in the fresh air and woodsy smell from the distant forest.

There were a few students already hanging about, leaning against trees or relaxing in the grass to take advantage of one of the last warm days of the year. He paid them all little heed until a flash of bright blue caught his eye. There was a group of first years a few yards away, and one of them was holding a frisbee.

Rebecca internally debated for a moment whether or not it would be rude for him to walk over, he definitely had never met anyone here before. But it had been ages since he'd played a good old fashioned muggle game, and he doubted he'd get a chance like this again.

He smiled brightly and started walking over. "Er--" he waved "Are you lot playing frisbee? My name's Rebecca, would you mind if I joined in?" Rebecca raised his eyebrows playfully. "I mean, there's already a Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and a Hufflepuff. I can be the Slytherin to tie it all together," he joked, a slight tease in his grin.

Crystal watched as Karrie pulled a blue circular object from her bag. Apparently, it was an item used in a Muggle game known as "flying disc." In her few adventures to the Muggle world, Crystal vaguely remembered seeing kids playing with similar brightly-colored items, but her moms never allowed her to join the others, as they thought that Crystal might spoil their magical secret to the Muggle families.

Karrie giggled and admitted that she carried the disc around with her whenever she was on the grounds, just in case someone wanted to play with her. Crystal was shocked that someone would go around their entire life hoping that people would interact with them, but she had learned over the years that it was mostly just herself that disliked human interaction that much.

Karrie gestured to Suni and asked her to please explain the rules of the game to Crystal. Crystal let out a small sigh of relief. Part of her was expecting them to just begin playing the game without offering any explanation of how the game worked. Realistically, Crystal supposed that she always knew that wasn't going to be the case, but when one is socially anxious, one tends to assume the worst.

Before Suni could begin explaining the game's rules, a fourth figure approached the girls. It appeared to be a boy, about the same age as Crystal and her new friends. They were thin, with messy brown hair, and as they approached, it began to appear that their eyes were brown as well. The new person got nearer to the girls, and then introduced himself as Rebecca and asked if they were playing Frisbee.

Crystal wondered if his family was like hers. Rebecca was not normally a boy's name, but her moms had taught her enough about gender that she knew that most things that were considered "for boys" or "for girls" were silly and made up anyway. Crystal thought that maybe his parents were like hers and had taught him the same things.

As for whether the girls were playing frisbee, Crystal laughed quietly and admitted, "I'm not completely sure what we're playing. Both my parents are witches, so I don't know the names of any Muggle games." Karrie had called the game "flying disc," and Crystal wasn't sure if that was the same as "frisbee."
