Tesla couldn't help but feel a bit of pity for Kay as she mentioned not knowing any metamorphmagi besides Quinn. That likely meant she'd only met her at school, and didn't know anyone with her same ability growing up. Tes could only imagine how lonely she would've been if she didn't have her mum sharing her lycanthropy in common with her. Having someone there to tell her what to expect, and teaching her how to adapt and get better at handling the instincts that came with being a wolf made her experience so much better than if she was alone.

"I bet it can be hard having your family not be around consistently! Since we're all on the farm it's always just been me and my mums all the time, and if anyone goes anywhere it's just one of them for a pretty short amount of time. I know that not having a set routine could be really hard for me," Tes thought about how she'd feel if her mums paraded her around bragging about her and showing her off at parties. It was on the surface a nice thought, having that much pride for her, but it seemed like it would be exhausting all at the same time. "I think I get what you mean about your mum showing you off at parties! That sounds like it'd be pretty fun, but it could also be exhausting! I don't think I've ever even been to a party, and even just going and eating food seems like it'd be tiring."

She tilted her head thoughtfully as Kay mentioned her father's advice of "causing nightmares". She couldn't tell if it was a joke or not because of her grin, but either way she couldn't see the kind girl in front of her scaring anyone. Maybe she had a secret wicked side! That would be fun! "I don't think you could be scary if you tried! You just seem too nice! Maybe if you could grow big horns or get huge muscles to beat people up with you could do it," Tes jokingly mimed flexing her arms, giggling a bit at the thought.

She was a bit surprised by the way Kay seemed so excited by the idea of her mom being a werewolf, and blurted without thinking, "Uh, yeah! I am a werewolf too!" She paused for a moment to let her thoughts catch up with the fact she'd just told someone else what she was, then laughed a bit breathlessly, relieved that Kay seemed more excited than stressed by the idea of her being a werewolf. "It wasn't a rude question! And it is pretty cool having a wolf for a mum sometimes! I wasn't expected you to just... blurt out the question though? Most witches and wizards are all," she wiggled her fingers dramatically like a villain in a children's book, "OoOoOOoo Werewolves! So scary! So tabboo! So it was a nice surprise that you seem excited instead!" She couldn't help the smile lighting up her face, laughing again with relief.

"Oh, my siblings were always with me! Since I am the oldest, I had to take of them, but it was fun. We played games and even stole our father's broom once!" Kay said with a smile. "For the most part, one was always home." It was usually her father because her mother had to be called into work at odd times. Sometimes she would even be called in during the middle of the night or in the middle of her parties. Kay remembered how when she was really young, she would get scared wheneve her mum left. She was always scared she wouldn't come back.

"Parties are kind of boring. I love social interaction as much as the next gal but sometimes I just want to draw in my room," Kay said, rolling her eyes slightly. Her mother's parties were always just a bunch of adults gathering to talk about boring things while drinking. Her siblings somehow found them quite fun, which Kay never understood. "One time when I was a baby, I was angry that my father wouldn't give me a snack, so I grew a full set of shark teeth." She said with a small laugh. She could imagine how scary it must have been that a thing that already like to chew on stuff, had extremely sharp teeth.

Kay nodded. "Sorry, it's a bad habit of mine." She didn't really like that about herself, that she always said what she thought. It got her into trouble sometimes. "I don't understand how people treat being a werewolf like a bad thing. It honestly seems kinda cool." She said with a small smile. She had never understood how anyone could look at anyone else differently because of something like that. It was probably because people had looked at her like she was an evil trickster all of her life, but she denies that

OOC Note: I am so sorry for taking forever to respond! We had testing this week and it was hard to find the time to.

Tes giggled as Kay talked about her family and her antics with her siblings. She could understand that, she got into enough trouble as it was, and she didn't even need siblings for that to happen! "It sounds like you all have a lot of fun! When are they going to be coming to Hogwarts? I'd love to meet them sometime." At the very least it didn't sound like Kay was left home alone and lonely, despite her parent's busyness. Tes knew that it was always sad when she was younger to have to say goodbye to her momma for even one day every month, she couldn't imagine having to do it all the time.

"I can understand not always wanting a party! I love meeting new people and socializing, but big crowds, uh-uh! It can be really overwhelming sometimes," Tes shuddered at the memory of her first time in London; it had really been a shock to her sensitive nose, "What do you usually draw? I try to draw sometimes, but it doesn't always go the way I want." Tes threw her head back with loud laughter at the picture of a baby with shark teeth. It sure was good for her parents the most she could ever do was cry if something didn't go her way. "My parents sure are lucky that never happened to them! I'm sure that was quite a shock for your poor father."

Tes settled down to smile shyly as Kay talked about how she didn't understand people's views on werewolves. "I'm really glad you think that way! I feel like more and more people are accepting werewolves, and I'm going to do my best to show the world that we're not what people say we are!" She paused, deflating a bit, "Unfortunately I can understand why people are afraid though. My family has always been lucky enough to have the wolfsbane potion, which gives you back control during your shift. Even if you still can't remember anything you did in the morning, you at least know that it was consistent with whatever you'd do normally. People that don't have that potion though..." She frowned sadly, thinking of the one month her mum didn't have the potion, and the terrible howling and distress of a wild animal, "Werewolves without the potion will hunt and kill humans if they can. Which can be super scary for some people! But that's why the wolfsbane potion should be readily available, so then no one has to be afraid! Werewolf or wizard!" Tes trailed off, finally finishing her tirade on werewolf rights. "Sorry about that, I just have big feelings about what werewolves deserve, and how we should be treated. I'm just glad there's people like you out in the world, ones that aren't scared!" Tes beamed at Kay, happy that there was someone willing to listen to her that wasn't a fellow wolf. It was always nice to be able to talk with other wolves about this, but they of course understood and agreed with her. Getting to share with a witch, even if she was a metamorphmagus and understood already what it meant to not be a normal witch, meant a lot to Tes.
