Butterflies and Blue Goodbyes
I felt her pat me on the back and I then wished I could read minds. Okay, maybe it was too much. I pulled away and offered a small smile before getting back to my book. As she answered my question about the nickname, I somewhat felt conflicted. Did she agree just to keep me from feeling bad? Does she want to and she was hiding her happiness? Did she simply literally not care?
My brain decided it would be a pawsome time to ramble.
"Thats good. Ali is a nice name. I didn’t really have nicknames growing up, mum would call me her angel while Baxter calls me Luci sometimes. Doesn’t Luci sound like a girls name though? That’s what Ian told me but I don’t care what he thinks…" I trailed off at the end and I grew warm.
Oh well, I already screwed one thing up, what is putting my foot in my mouth for a second time? What else can I do, three times a charm.
I was pleased to know that I was almost on Chapter 4! Guess I didn’t have that much more pages to go after all.
"This really is a- a long train- train ride," I mused, fiddling with my glasses. "Do you know when we will get to Hogwarts?" I asked, turning to Kim. He looked lost in his own world a little.

I crossed my legs and continued to stare out the window, wishing we could get to Hogwarts quicker. I was beginning to feel kind of trapped. I wasn't claustrophobic, I didn't know what was going on. But I knew that if I didn't get out of this train soon, then something was going to happen. This only happened when I felt in danger of something happening. This happened before, even when literally nothing was happening. My hand propped my head up again and my mind started trailing off.
It was much darker outside than before when I realized that the school was in view. I tried to position myself so I could see the school better.
"Guys look! We're almost there!" I exclaimed ecstatically.I stood up on the train and stretched mt limbs and neck. "About time we got there!"
I straightened my robes and tried to straighten my hair as much as would allow before the train finally came to a complete stop. I was completely revived from my weird little episode on the train. I immiediately forgot about all my problems as I was trying to keep myself from running pff the train when it came to a complete stop.

As Lucian continued to speak, Kim listened for a few minutes, enjoying being able to be a spectator without needing to respond to anyone. It seemed as if Lucian and Alice really got along well together. That was really nice and reminded him of when he'd first met Sophia and Sage on the train. He nodded as Lucian spoke of always having chocolate frogs around all the time. Well, they were very popular amongst the wizarding community in general, that was for sure. Alice's words about not being familiar with these snacks definitely made him think she was a muggle. Or rather muggle-born. If you were a wizard you'd have at least heard of the snacks, even if you didn't like them or hadn't eaten them before. When she said something about being able to make toast and sandwiches, a smirk came to his lips. Well, that wasn't too difficult, which meant if she joined the TCC, he'd have to teach her a few things. Kim wondered what it was like having siblings. He didn't have any, although he had what seemed to him like a ton of cousins. Both Lucian and Alice seemed to have around the same amount of siblings as Kim had with all his cousins. Kim glanced over at Lucian. The boy seemed quite eager to get to Hogwarts, going from how he was asking how long the train ride was. "It shouldn't be too much longer, that being said I should head out now. I still have to give out the rest of the sweets before we get there. Here's a few sweet bundles for you to share with any friends you might make later today! Don't open them until after the feast begins!" Kim told them with a faint smile. "You can impress your new friends by giving them some nice sweets with this." He added and gave them both a wink before the white haired boy got to his feet, slinging his satchel strap up and over his shoulder. "See you soon! Feel free to look me up later too!" Kim told them. "Zàijiàn!" He said, using the Mandarin word for goodbye, as he raised his hand into the air, slid the compartment door open and disappeared through it. He nodded to Wynn and then made his way down the narrow aisle, searching for more potential victims. ────────────────────── ㅤ ㅤ──────────────────────
actions: Kim gives out 2 prank bundles to Lucian and Alice and then leaves the compartment to distribute other bundles. notes: Might not want to write too much about ending this thread because Wynn hasn't been able to post yet. Since it's his thread, he might want to do other things before it closes aka they arrive at Hogwarts. This 'prank bundle' is a mini prank that Kim and Elsian have going on. When you get a bundle, do not open it until later on when Elsian will post a new thread somewhere in the Great Hall regarding this. For more information, please read this thread!
