In a few days time all the International student will be coming home to their school respectively but the Castelobruxo student will not go out without a bang. During the dinner date that Ronnie had with Haley, the redhead had told Ronnie all about the Halloween Party that one of Haley's friends will hold.

During that night, Ronnie nodded along to what Haley said since he was mesmerized by the beauty that his gaze held upon him. He brought back to reality when Haley suggested that both of them should go as Harley Quinn and Joker. At first, Ronnie thought he need to dress up as a clown. But as Haley explained it further to the Duellist, Ronnie loved the idea even more.

It did not take very much convincing from Ronnie's side since he was always up to experiencing new things with Haley. Ronnie also told Cash about this. But the Slytherin seems not much into the festive mood like Ronnie did. Cash told him they will try to attend it but they did not make any promises. Once Ronnie told Cash what he and Haley dressed up as the Slytherin's Beater helped their cousin with the costume.

Soon a few days before the Halloween Bash arrived, the costume that Cash asked one of the Ironwoods helpers to rented out down at the Oxford costume shop, the parcel arrived at one of those morning owl mail. While Ronnie received his packet, Cash received another Medical-related book.

A few days have gone by and today is the day for the Halloween Bash. As much as Ronnie wanted to wear the three-piece purple tuxedo, Cash had suggested to Ronnie that he not go overboard with it. So, the second youngest of the Ramírez decided to just wear a white long-sleeve shirt under the purple pants and vest set.

Ronnie even goes all out by changing his hair into green using the hair-color-changing spell and having some kind of a full mouth with a tooth on the back of his left hand as a temporary tattoo. Once Ronnie feel like he could pull off Joker's persona perfectly, he marched towards the place Haley had mentioned to him the other day.

It is not so often the Pureblood plays dress up and if he has to be honest with himself, he kind of nervous but as Ronnie walked further down to the Ballroom, slowly his nerve dissipated. Once he rounded a corner, not so far from the venue, Haley already standing there while waiting for Ronnie to arrive.

"Wow, look at you!""The Gryffindor complimented Ronnie. Ronnie bowed like one of those fairytale princes. Ronnie then marched towards Haley. "Hello, Joker""Haley smirked while twirling the baseball bat. The Duellist could not stop his eyes to look at Haley from top to bottom. Haley then walked towards him and presented her outfit with a short slow spin.

"So what do you think?"Giggled Haley and winked at him. For a minute Ronnie was lost for words. The outfit that Haley wore is cute and yet sexy at the same time. "Hello to you too, Miss Harley,"Ronnie then took Haley's hand, planted a kiss on the back of it, and send a wink towards the girl.

"You look smoking hot!"Ronnie said without thinking. "I mean you look exquisite. You always look exquisite, my love"Ronnie expressed while flashing his dimpled smile. The Castelobruxo student did not know how long did he stare into Haley's beauty until her voice entered his ears saying all missing is the hair.

"Right, the hair!"Ronnie broke his own reverie. With a quick hair-color-changing spell, he turned Haley's beautiful red hair into a blonde one. Then Haley colored her tips blue and pink. She said it felt so wrong but Ronnie thought otherwise. "It doesn't matter what your hair color is, you look gorgeous to me,"The Duellist then bend down and kissed Haley's cheek.

"Shall we enter the room together then?"Inquired the blue-grey-eyed boy as he offered his elbow to be linked by Haley. As soon as the boy stepped into the room, the room oozed with a creepy yet cool Halloween ambiance. Ronnie did not have much time to marvel at the room when he felt Haley tug him toward what he assumed is the host for this little festive.

Haley then introduced Ronnie to Kim. And if his memory served him correctly, he saw the boy during one of the games last Summer. "The name is Verona Andréas. Ronnie for short. Please make your acquaintance"Ronnie said to Kim with his thick English-Portuguese accent while stretching out his hand for Kim to shake.

Once Kim shook his hand, Ronnie will lower them to his side. His blue-grey eyes scanned the room to see what he can see from his point of view. "Yes. Thank you so much for doing this. You Hogwarts students definitely know how to throw a party,"He complimented the boy. "First the Fall Ball, now this, what can't you guys do?"Ronnie let out a low whistle of amazement as he took in the decoration of the room while waiting for Kim to respond.

Bubba was really not even sure why he was going to this party. He had only met Kim Sato once and that was at Summer Camp when they had both been in the same game of truth or dare. In fairness his experience with Kim had been quite fun, they'd done a fun duet of one of Bubba's favorite sea shanties. He supposed the real reason he'd been going is he was still trying to make more friends in the castle. His dad had encouraged him to try to get to know some more people given that Bubba had spent almost all of his first year studying and trying to get top marks. He'd already made some new friends and even had the start of a budding romance with his fellow prefect, Sam. Bubba finally settled on the fact that he was just going for the hell of it.

Bubba hadn't really worn a costume to the Fall Ball, he'd just worn a very nice tuxedo that had been well received. He'd been informed, however, that for this party, he needed to wear a proper costume. He'd written home to his dad and explained the situation and asked him to pick something out for him, his dad knew what he liked and he trusted his judgment. He felt a bit bad asking his dad to spend even more money on him but he figured his dad would want him to branch out like this. His dad had most definitely come through. He'd sent him a really nice Doctor Strange costume. In the accompanying note, his dad said he found it funny because Bubba was a wizard and he was going to the party as a different type of wizard. It even had its own Eye of Agamotto.

Bubba arrived at the ballroom and was immediately fascinated because it was all very dark and spooky. It became quickly apparent to him that everything was partitioned off in the form of a maze. Bubba liked puzzles and he dove straight into the maze. He only felt like he'd gone in circles on a couple of occasions and quickly found his way into the party proper. It all looked quite nice to him. He surveyed the room and only saw a couple of people he was familiar with. He saw Bailey Glade, who he knew as a Ravenclaw but really didn't know well enough to walk up to her and say hi. He saw Kim of course but decided he'd get to him later, he looked like he was already surrounded by people. Lastly, he saw Sienna Lenoir. Oh, how wonderful. Sienna Lenoir, the girl that threw him into the lake. And landed him in detention. He hadn't seen her since then. He most certainly would not be exchanging unpleasantries with her unless he had to.

He walked over to one of the tables and grabbed a glass of spookily colored water. He took a sip and surveyed the room, contemplating who to mingle with.

Valentin entered Kim’s party dressed as a figure his father had read to him about as a child: Jareth, the terrible goblin king. Even if Val’s papka had intended to scare him back then, the boy couldn’t help but grow attached to the charming monster for reasons he couldn’t quite explain. Now, years later, that eccentric, magical thief of children continued to speak to him in ways he still didn’t grasp… Yet, his visualizations of the goblin king grew clearer in his mind every time certain musical phrasings passed Valentin’s ears – he could almost hear the king's whispers through the notes. Even if not a soul in attendance would have any idea as to his costume’s significance, Valentin simply could not deny Jareth’s calling. Waving at Kim as he entered, Valentin performed his usual scan of those in attendance to see if he could spot anyone he knew, either personally or from his broader encyclopedic knowledge of quidditch players. He recognized one Haley Rose, Gryffindor quidditch chaser and parselmouth, but did not approach. Valentin instead found a chair in a distant corner and began to watch her interacting with their host until he grew bored, proceeding to roll a perfectly clear crystal ball in hypnotic motions over and through his dexterous fingers.

Wandering into the party out of curiosity, Ginyami had seen Kim's poster and wondered what all the fuss was about. With a guarantee that he would have fun and his heartbeat would 'increase at some point throughout the night', how could he resist? Besides, it was a chance to get to know more students and Ginyami was always looking to broaden his social circle. He wondered if anyone he knew would be there.

His outfit was simple and put together at the last minute, but he thought a kitsune from Japanese folklore fit the bill for the kind of Halloween costume the poster called for. He just hoped it would be recognizable enough by others who weren't from Japan. If not, he would be happy to tell them some creepy, scary, and spooky kitsune stories, tricksters that they were.

As he entered the ballroom, he noticed the large partition immediately and wondered what it was for. Perhaps the spider game that had been mentioned on the poster? There were fake cobwebs everywhere and other partitions that almost gave the place a labyrinth-like feel. Ginyami carefully made his way through the maze of partitions before finally arriving at what must have been the end.

He drifted over to one of the tables full of food and picked up a toothpick of what at first glance appeared to be eyeballs. Were those...blueberries and lychees? How creative. Smiling at the idea, he popped one into his mouth. The other foods were just as festive and fun, full of fruits and vegetables. The longer tables had a larger variety of edibles which the Mahoutokoro student browsed. Eventually, he poured himself a cup of pumpkin juice before continuing on toward where other students were gathered.

Ginyami admired the atmosphere composed of Halloween music, dim lighting, and costumed guests milling about. He stood gazing at a very large painting hung from the ceiling and pondered its reason for being. Perhaps they would later find out.

Just as he was backing away from the very large door painting and the popular host of the party who stood before it, he bumped into someone and nearly spilled his pumpkin juice on them.

"I'm so sorry; I wasn't watching where I was going. Are you alright?"

When he turned, a wild-haired goblin king faced him from a skeleton chair and it took Ginyami a few seconds to place why the charismatic presence seemed so familiar.

"...Valentin? Is that you?"

The month seemed to be so chalk full with many events and parties going on, between the ball, the Hexwizard Tournament, there seemed to be never a dull moment. When word came out about the Halloween bash that Kim was setting up, Monica was thrilled to go. Based on what she had seen from Kim with the mutiny game, and in the prank club, it seemed the boy had an eye for events, and could really through a party. And Monica did not what to be a sorry sap that didn't go to what could be the greatest party of the year.

The biggest question following her acceptance to attend what what on earth would she dress as? Halloween was one of Monica's favourite time of the year, a chance to be anything you wanted, to explore the spooky and delve into the realm of darkness, whatever she was going to dress as, she wanted it to be good. No not just good, to stick out as incredible!

Monica spent most of her free time leading up to the party to think about her costume... coming to a conclusion that certain ideas didn't feel fun anymore once you learn that these fantasy creatures are real... was dressing up like a werewolf offensive? Was it pointless to dress like a witch now knowing she was one? It posed way more questions than answers to choose on a costume. Coming to a conclusion however that if it was something that would be offensive, wouldn't it be stated of costumes to avoid? Surely Kim thought of the muggles, and their lack of knowledge with the wizarding world and took that into account, so Monica rested on the knowledge that anything thing was in fact up for grabs.

Finally it hit her... She would dress as a dark elf, like from one of the games her father ran for her and her siblings growing up! It was perfect, no risk of insulting another student, also was a fun spooky idea!.

Upon arriving the day of the party, Monica was dressed in a black dress, with lace that hung down her neck line and continued into billowy sleeves. The lace and the solid black skirt were connected with an elegant corset, and some floral print embroidered in the fabric. She wore false elf ears that she brought from home, and even found her colour contacts to give her eyes a red glow. Her nails were painted black, and on her face she darkened her eyes, and drew on black moon designs on her forehead and nose, with black lipstick to complete the look. She looked like a dark queen of the Elvish race, and she loved her costume.

Once she go through the maze at the entrance, she was met with an amazing display of food and drinks. The room was already pretty full with a number of people, Monica looked around to see if any friends were here, and saw quite a few friendly faces...Course one face she wanted to see was that of Hiro, who didn't seem to be there. Monica made her way to the refreshments, before finding a group to mingle with. She caught Kim through the corner of her eye as well as Bailey from her train ride to Hogwarts at the start of this year.

First refreshments.... then Mingling.

A second year’s party was not something that Galton thought he’d be attending this school year. And if it weren’t for Kim, he most likely wouldn’t be. But Kim had proven to be a determined duelist over the summer - and - if you asked Galton in the right crowd, a friendly fellow. Ask him anywhere else though and his ego would answer something about the boy being a solid apprentice. Galton’s ego also believed that he would be doing a favor to all those in attendance by showing up. Who wouldn’t want to say they went to a party with the 5th year Duelist Co-captain, Galton Lansdale? Galton certainly would, if he wasn't the legend himself.

So Galton would find himself in the haunted doorway, trudging into the spooky room. Adorned in his usual dueling cloak, Galton's hair had been tussled about so that it looked like he'd just gotten hit by a car. The scariest thing he could think of was a perfect flipendo - brutal force to knock the wind out of even the most seasoned wizard. Naturally then, Galton was dressed to match the victim of said spell. Was it low effort? Maybe. But who really cared for the costumed? It was all about the candy at Halloween.

A few meters into the room and the setting began to sink in. Kim had really gone all out with the decorations and atmosphere. Not a surprise in truth; Kim brought similar energy to the dueling team. Anticipation for the promised sweets and snacks began to well up inside Galton. It was always his favorite part of these events - seemingly endless amounts of calories to stuff his face with. And that was where he would head first.

But first he would greet Kim. A smile and "Hey! Here, brought this! Food over there?" quickly rambled off would be the best a greeting he could give. He would hand a bundle of lollipops over. A collection of orange and black swirls in sugary form strait from the Lansdale's Lollipops mother ship. If Kim was to answer, he may need to shout, as Galton would soon be at the snack table. The fantastical flavors already swirling in his head.
