In her unfortunate circumstance, there was not much else Regina could do but watch her opponents in wait for spells coming her way. However, they decided all they wanted to do was silence and tease her as they teamed up against her partner. Cade and Samantha levied their wands against Sylvie. The well-known blue energy shot out of Samantha’s wand, but it was accompanied by a string of bubbles from Cade. Both spells would strike true; the vibrant flipendo struck the girl in the chest, causing her to lose balance but not fall. Cade’s bubbles would surround her, making it more difficult to move. Sylvie refused to remain the only victim in this round as her own crackling blue energy cast from her wand in Cade’s direction. He would try to get out of the way, but it was clear he didn’t stand a chance as Ventus’s winds flew about him in a fury. The spell, like Sylvie, would slam hard into his chest, throwing his balance. His only upside was the furious gale storm around him flitted away like a spring breeze.

Ugh. Bubbles. Sylvie's eye twitched at the iridescent orbs that now blocked her movements. The flipendo threw her off-kilter, sure. But, the bubbles? How inconvenient this was. Steadying herself and attempting to blow a bubble from her field of view, Sylvie gripped her wand.

At the very least, her spell hit. The girl still hadn't managed to find a reason for her wand packing an "extra" punch... Then again, she'd not exactly looked into the sharpness of her spells. If she ignored it, her spells cutting like a knife in a wand fight really wasn't a big problem!

Cade waved his wand through the relentless gale of the wind jinx from the round prior and managed to cast a flawless bubble charm toward the fourth-year Gryffindor. And a cascade of ornaments closed in around Sylvie just as her flipendo zipped for him. Cade would attempt to dance out of the way, but the wind kept him from taking evasive action. The Ravenclaw wizard flew backward, landing hard on his rump as he slammed onto the floor. Ouch... Cade would get to his feet, windswept bangs revealed a stony gaze. This just started getting serious.

Knowing Regina wouldn't be able to cast any spells at her or Cade due to the tongue tying spell she had used last round, Samantha was able to focus on Sylvie. Cade had also aimed for Sylvie and both of their spells hit the lion. The prefect had gone for the classic flipendo and Cade for a more original spell.

The Eagles thoroughly planned on taking advantage of Regina’s limited quiet time, keeping their focus trained on Sylvie. Cade, while incapable of failing, produced a knock-back jinx that just wasn’t as vibrant as one would like to see. However, despite that, it still managed to strike Sylvie hard in her non-dominant shoulder, delivering the same hard punch one would have expected. This round would not go well for one Samantha Salwis; as she prepared to cast her curse, something crept up inside her, crawling under her skin like a pack of cockroaches, or maybe it was a shiver dancing up her spine.

The small hairs on the back of her neck stood on end whenever she even happened to get a glance at Regina out of the corner of her eye. The lioness might have been silenced, but she was far from helpless. Did her shadow move in a way she didn’t? There was something wrong with the air around her, and because of this, Samantha’s spell went wildly off course harmlessly toward the ceiling. Sylvie once more lashed back hard at the Ravenclaws, her aim so flawless it almost appeared as if she could have been a seer predicting Samantha’s moves before she even took them. A full-Body bind curse would crash into Samantha, and the worst feeling would overtake her. The total loss of control over her entire body as her limbs snapped to her sides, causing the girl to fall over. Though this wasn’t a standard body bind. Like Cade, Samantha might be able to feel some blood soaking through where the spell had struck her. While Samantha lost control of her body Regina would find her tongue loosening from the roof of her mouth. She was silenced no more.

Mod Note| I am back from vacation, but I do have a tropical storm about to roll through, which could become a small hurricane. We are not too worried and very prepared since we live in a hurricane-prone place. I will be affected by the storm on Wednesday, and the effects can last through Sat. I usually do not have problems losing power in hurricanes/storms, but there is a first for everything. If something happens, I will update dueling captains if they need to cover for me.

The spell had left the tip of her wand but then the brunette made a huge mistake. Being overconfident she looked Regina's way, hoping to see the girl suffer because she couldn't cast any spells. Instead, she found her friend staring at her. Not just staring in a normal way, no, the girl stared at her like a doll out of a horror movie who wanted her soul. An ominous feeling crept unto the young prefect as her eyes crossed with Reggie's. Admittingly, her friend didn't come off as a really warm and friendly person but Samantha had never been afraid of the lion... until now...

The creepy feeling she had gotten, caused her to lose focus and miss her spell. On top of that, she didn't even notice the spell Sylvie had cast her way. Before she even realized what had happened, she lost all control over her body and hit the floor. Her head was hurting from the contact it had made with the hard floor and the place where the spell had hit her was bleeding. A huge hatred for the spell boiled inside her as she realized that she wouldn't be able to cast any spells at the other team or help her teammate. Regina's dramatic laughter made Samantha want to roll her eyes, which she sadly couldn't due to the curse, because it was so over the top.

Cade couldn't revel long in his success of clipping Sylvie's shoulder with a well-aimed Flippendo. Because it seemed that Samantha had lost her focus, forgetting her purpose entirely. The plan had gone wrong. Before Cade could say quidditch his captain went down and hard! Upon hearing the thud, Cade quickly turned his gaze to his fallen comrade. "Hold on, Sam." Petrified, well that was utterly annoying. This match was looking to be more difficult than Cade initially made it out to be. Feeling somewhat panicked, the wizard tried to stand tall, ignoring the blood that was now seeping through his jumper. Pressing his off hand against the wound, Cade would round his menacing gaze back upon their opponenets.

There was no laughter coming from Miss O'Niell, only a small twitch of her lips. Once Samantha was unable to interfere, her deep brown eyes set their sights on Cade. She rolled her shoulders; Although she was in alright shape, it wasn't as though she'd gone unharmed up until now.

Despite this, the girl appeared largely unphased (albeit annoyed by her bubbly situation) by this fact and remained unspeaking, pointing her wand at the ready.
